Hotel A&H Plaza del Liceo - Madrid

Hotel staff should have DETAILED local map. It was impossible to figure out how to get back on the highway from there; Google maps is wrong; road signage is missing.

AH Club offer should have been more obvious before booking and certainly an option on checking in!!!

Generally speaking, the stays at this hotel were the comfort ones. My room was so spacious, clean and quiet. As you konw, the location was far from sightseeing spots. It takes 40 minutes on foot and by subway. The connection of the Internet was not so good, as is often the case with hotels in Spain.

- noisy room (noisy neighboorhood) 4/10 - third bed = sofa very uncomfortable 3/10 - breakfast = bad and poor, and poor welcome from various employees for 2 days 2/10

Hotel barato y en una zona tranquila pero no parece de 4 estrellas. Mas bien uno de 3, pues las habitaciones no son muy grandes y el mobiliario y la TV son bastante sencillas. Buena relación coste-calidad.

En general muy bien. Hubo un inconveniente con el acceso a internet, pero finalmente no cobraron x dicho servicio. Pedimos habitacion doble matrimonial, pero solo habia cuadruple con 4 camas simples. Los empleados trataron de hscer lo posible en todo momento.

Hay hoteles a buen precio pero no con esta calidad. Cumple sobradamente con lo requerido. Internet gratis en recepcion y buen servicio. Mucho turista extranjero.

Hotel pequeño pero con los servicios suficientes para el precio-calidad. Encontramos justo lo que buscabamos y lo que salia en la pagina de reservas. Recomendable para gente que pasa por España en el aeropuerto de Barajas y tiene uno o dos dias, y quiere estar cerca del aeropuerto, pero tambien estar en la ciudad. Le metro lo soluciona de forma economica.

Hotel is not in the center of Madrid, but is close to "Esperanza" Metro Stop and to other bus stops. So you can stay in a nice and quite place and be in the center in a few minutes, taking metro or bus Internet is free so it is good. If I return to Madrid, I could stay in this hotel again.

Fue una grata sorpresa dado el precio. Zona muy agradable para pasear e incluso hacer deporte por la mañana. Hotel majo con servicios suficientes para estancia agradable. Transporte publico a la puerta.

I booked a room in this hotel before a flight from Barajas. The hotel far exceeded my expectations for the cost. I ended up in a room with 4 twin sized beds and a huge patio. In the morning, it was an easy and painless metro ride to the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near the airport.

The hotel was ugly, super stressful, far away from the city, had no (!) style - furniture and roof amazingly ugly and the entrance area had couches of diferent colours, ages and styles all mixed up together so that one could not even get his luggage out of the hotel. This is a prison for a lot of money! What you see outside is a village but not Madrid and you cannot even buy a cup of coffee outside, because there are no shops! nothing. I cannot recommend the hotel for this price and this ugly embarazing comfort to anybody - everything looks so cheap. In the webpictures it looks really romantic with the red sheats, but in reality these sheats have a bunch of holes and after one night we had to scratch all over ouer bodies...little animals!

I was stayed for one day! It is my first time!

Abbastanza fuori mano e assolutamente fuori portata rispetto a quanto dichiarato. per fortuna che madrid è dotata di ottimi servizi pubblici e di un servizio taxi economico e funzionate. struttura sotto la sufficienza. Colazione costosa (14 Euro) e da evitare

Upgrade the breakfast

The location is a bit isolated as it is in a residential area with little around to offer tourists. However, for the price the hotel itself is very nice.

I booked a four bed room for the whole family and I was favourably impressed because in reality there were two rooms, each with two beds and a shared bath room. The environment was quite clean and quiet. The hotel was easy to reach by metro either from the airport either fron the city center. Just one remark: if breakfast were cheaper we would have enjoyed it more frequently.

The price is excellent considering it is in Madrid. The bathroom big and new. It doesn't have a restaurant for room service or dinner, which is strange since it is a 4 star hotel.

Nice hotel, clean room and bathroom. 10 minutes by foot from the nearest metro station and a little far from the city center but very good price for this quality. Not all the receptionists spoke english.

We stayed there only one night, we paid 49 euros for 2 people (breakfast not included), was an excellent price for this nice hotel. Located on the north of Madrid, not a lot to do on this area but you are at 5-10 min walking from the metro. The staff was really nice and helpful, the room not so big but really enough, the bathroom really clean and quite big. I was just a bit upset because the cleaning ladies knocked on our door at 9AM... Really good price/quality rate, I recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel was nice and clean, it is absolutely not a 4 stars hotel! More like 2-3 stars hotel. But the price was still fair. Quietness of rooms rated as 2, because a couple had huge fight in the middle of the night, but hotel personel have not done anything about it although they have heard it. The noise kept many visitors awake that night!!!

Buen hotel, situado en una zona tranquila, a 8 minutos andando del metro y con espacio para aparcar en la calle del hotel

Mi acogida fue muy mala ya que cuando llegue el hotel se nego a darme la habitacion reservada y me mando a otro hotel del mismo grupo (hotel el parque), mas lejos de mi trabajo, sin compensacion alguna. Esa practica parece ser habitual de ese hotel, ya que el gerente me dijo que consideraban que era el mismo grupo. El hotel el Parque esta en una area residencial desierta, mucho mas lejos del metro que el otro, en una habitacion de otro tipo. Me mandaron tres veces de un sitio a otro para pagar y perdi un tiempo considerable. Despues de dos dias de protestas, acabaron regalandome...un desayuno.
