The hotel has slightly tired decor but not offensive. Price a little high for the quality of the room, windows looked onto an airwell, but centrally located and easy walking to restaurants and opera. We stayed the night of the opera and perhaps this was the reason for the price €95 + €5 parking for one couple one night.

The personnel at the Hotel is very friendly. Room and bathroom of good size. AC working fine. Good location. On the next street downwards there is Osteria dei Fiori that I warmly recommend. In the fascinating centro storico there are lots of book shops and at least three shops for music CD's.

Very good central hotel in this lovely university city - few other hotels within the city walls. Locating on foot is easier than car as need to follow one way system. Parking also available but tight - get staff to park for you. Rooms away from road are quiet. A really "Italian" hotel - few tourists.
