The hotel is quite nice, I just have a few remarks concerning room equipment: the curtains were very thin and white, and there are several buildings on the other side of the street. There's not really much privacy and they don't block much light. Also, in the bathroom (which feels a bit old) the shower had no curtains whatsoever, therefore the floor would become all wet after taking a shower. Despite that, it's quite nice.

The informations provided on website were false regarding facility for car parking inside the hotel. The room correct except the bathroom very poor:leeking shower hose, shelf needing fixing, no curtain shower, light poor. The manager informed didnot fix anything during our three days stay. The breafast room in the cellar is poor, like the food itself according to the price.

There are no flags as in the photo. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very polite. The hotel is outdated, the rooms comfortable that would need to be refreshed it's why I find the price a little high but I have enjoyed the quiet, comfortable bed and free web. The hotel is well located and there are transit 2OOm, I have met some correct customers. I do not advise an obese person because the elevator is very small and the toilet in the bathroom adjoining the shower is very small even for me as thin. Overall, I would recommend to a friend Britannia by reporting these details.

Quarto muito pequeno, banheiro péssimo, relação custo x benefício ruim. Tive dificuldade de sair 1 dia antes. o Gerente alegou diversos problemas, todas elas fora de propósito .

The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. The receptionist didn't know how to activate the in-room phone for me to ring home, but ended up letting me use his mobile, which was lovely. the bed was nice and pillows comfortable, but there was hair on the bathroom floor that wasn't mine, and the bathroom didn't exactly look like it had been cleaned very well. i wore socks the whole time as i wasn't sure how clean the floors were. shower was good. neighbourhood was fine - close to the tram/bus, and decent restaurants nearby. breakfast, for 8 euros, was hardly inspiring (cocoa pops, baguette, croissant, applesauce, coffee and orange juice, so suspect they're making money on breakfast) but the coffee was good. price quoted per night through venere was about 93 euros per night, and actual cost of room was much more, with a different rate for different nights. no maps of lyon in the lobby which would be helpful. overall, people lovely - hotel a bit run down. still, i felt safe and secure.

The bathroom was incredibly spacious and clean, all was freshly renowed with high quality and of design materials. The price (105 euro) without breakfast was not cheap but the location is perfect (near Metro and train station) and the sorrounding nice. I spent there 3 nights, but the last one, quite surprisingly, they did not clean the room and put in order the bed

Manque de propreté, bruyant, eau froide pour la douche, petit déjeuner médiocre. Le seul avantage : bien situé

A nice small hotel in a quiet street 10 min walk from the train station. The rooms are spacy, quiet, everything OK. Lots of good restaurants and small shops around. Unfortunately, the (very short) street is not indicated on the official map of Lyon and the web map didn't help either. We had to ask in a shop to call the hotel for directions. Once we found it, it was really OK.

Everything was just perfect BUT the shower. No curtain, so, nothing to stop water from flooding the floor. that was quite displeasant and even outrageous the first night.

The receptionist was nice, but there's nobody there at the reception when I left the hotel at 6:00 in the morning. As for the rate, the web quatation showed that the rate was EUR72.00, but the actual charge was EUR77 because the accomodation taxes were added. I am not sure if the taxes vary depending on some conditions, I think it better to quote the rate including the taxes.

Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. The claim of "Private parking" was a bit optimistic - at most 3 vehicles could use the facility, and could only exit in sequence due to lack of space. We were charged 7 Euros a night for this although on 2 nights we could not get in.

My visit was only for one night, but my biggest difficulty was parking my hired car. I spent around 45 minutes of the arrival evening driving around looking for an overnight spot. In the morning it was necessary to rise early and walk the 10 minutes or so to collect the car and return to hotel for luggage etc
