The location was perfect - right on the tram and train lines. The room was VERY small as was the shower. However, it was clean and for the time spent in the room itself, it was fine. Judging from the smell, the room was newly painted.

Hotel located 5 mn walk to Lyon-Perrache station and well deserved by tramway. Not far from Place Bellecour and shopping area. Rooms equipped with TV and air conditioning are comfortable but bathroom not very spacious. Staff at reception is welcoming and competent. Buffet-Breakfast is fine.

Il pavimento della stanza è in pendenza, ti dà l'impressione di poca stabilità e fa girare la testa. Ho pagato 7 euro per un posto macchina ristrettissimo, adatto solo ad utilitarie,; collocato all'interno di un condomio.

First stay in Lyon. Not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. To find hotel : if you arrive at Perrache train station, aim for exit 'charlemagne' (oposite exit 'carnot' ) you will be at the top of mechanical stairs and see Berlioz right in front of you. Tram n)1 across the street : very practical.

Only 2 parking spaces, very, very small places hard to reach and Impossible with a big car. Small rooms. Ok for one night, not more.

Rooms were very small and bed was uncomfortable. (very) Also a rubber undersheet made the bed very sweaty. Pipe noises noticeable during the night. Wrong side of the station but it was close (a plus)

The room was very small. However it was sufficient for my needs. I appreciated that it was very quiet. The hotel advertises Wi-Fi, which it does have but it's not reliable. The breakfast was a bit expensive for what you got. The location was, for me, the best feature of the hotel.

Only stayed one night (Sunday). The room was tiny - barely enough space for a single bed. Very clean and comfortable though.

The booking was for my child, 17 years old. The room was finally 30 euros more expensive than announced. The payment was to be registered the day before by card. Finally, I had to send by sms the number to my child. Very bad service.

A very small but beatiful hotel, opposite the train station and just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful old town of Lyon. The people were very friendly and the rooms were perfect. The tram also stops right in front of the hotel. You can't choose a better location for a short break!

This hotel is very convenient to the Perrache railway station and a number of restaurants. A tram line runs just outside. The room I had (single) was cramped and dark, and the mattress was lumpy. Bathroom was compact and modern. The common areas were recently decorated and cheerful, and the breakfast was good.

When I booked this hotel nobody told me that it is near a demolished area and building works just by the hotel. I appreciated that the hotel is very close to an underground station but the area will be nice in a couple of years. The State Archives are in the vecinity but not much else to see. The room was very small and only a vetilator to cool the heat. Noisy during daytime. Many Oriental restaurants. The staff was nice.

The berlioz is in need of renovation and modernisation. The rooms are far too small, and access to rooms very poorly illuminated. Dining room and public areas not welcomming.

Quite a comfortable room and everything was clean. But the shower door was broken and i was told they couldn't fix it - so the floor flooded after every shower

The hotel was very hot that night and the window and curtain couldn't open separatly...we didn't sleep well ....The breakfast was very good however. And everyone was very nice. Bathroom and elevator were tiny. I felt unsure about leaving my car parked on the street but no other parking was offered. Because there were three of us the extra bed in the room made it a very tight space.

Small but clean rooms. Not good for non-smokers as no option for non-smoking rooms. Location good for station but quite a run-down area.

The hotel was quite adequate and had very friendly staff. There is an area near the hotel which is being developed, which is not causing problems at the moment. It would be nice if the garden could be developed. It would have been nice to have had fresh fruit at breakfast. The fans in the bedroom were very useful in the heat.

Tip, If you TGV to Lyon-Part Duex ... take a train from Part Duex to Lyon-Parrache rather than metro, tram or taxi.

I thought it was a brilliantly located 2* hotel, really close to the train and metro system and really convenient to get to from the airport shuttle stop. (only about 300m). It was however in quite a run-down part of town, but to get to the centre of Lyon on the metro was very easy and only 2 stops away! All in all we had a brilliant stay.
