Staying at the Grande Hotel de Luso is an excellent opportunity to discover the
Bairrada region of Portugal. This Luso 4 star hotel is close to the enchanting Buçaco National Forest, where you can go mountain biking, trekking and off-roading. There is also a well known wellness centre, the Luso Spa, in the vicinity as well as the Curia Golf Club within 15 minutes of the hotel. You can also find out about the region's wine growing history at the Wine Museum of Bairrada or see one of the many cultural events held at the Casino of Luso.
Designed by the famous Portuguese architect Cassiano Branco, the Grande Hotel de Luso is an example of the innovative modernist architecture which was fashionable during the 1940's. A beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing holiday alone or with your family, the hotel is far from the pollution and stress of the city, and offers a woodland retreat where you can treat yourself to Bairrada cuisine and get in shape, doing one of a series of sports or spa treatments.
As well as the Olympic swimming pool, there is also a Turkish bath and all of the usual spa facilities to help you relax, including hot stone massages in the garden, weather permitting. Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
