Nice hotel in quiet location with free parking. Bus service to Luzern was very convenient and easy to use. Excellent dinner service and fine breakfast service. Glad we chose to stay at this hotel.

Although I am satisfied with my overall stay, I would point out that the room was much smaller than I expected to get for the price. Also, its worth pointing out that the hotel is quite a distance away from the city centre even though there is a bus right from outside the hotel which connects to the city centre. With the Swiss currency having appreciated a fair bit in recent times, a common issue involving most Swiss hotels which tourists from other countries will notice is that the price for a room in Switzerland will seem surprisingly high as compared to what people will be used to in their own countries. I say this despite coming from the UK (which itself is not a cheap country).

Very expensive, but that's Switzerland. Fairly remote, 10 min drive to tourist part of Luzern. Has a nice restaurant with very good food but again is a little pricey. There are no places within walking distance, really have to drive to downtown to find other places to eat. Overall, nice hotel, pretty view but far from everything and still expensive.

Great hotel especially if you have a car since parking is free and you can take a bus easily downtown. Also great for running and walking since you are near 2 forested areas.

Location on a main road, yet quiet at night, when it matters. Free internet (WiFi) of good quality. Good food. In the evening a nice walk up the hill, with a beautiful view of the Lake can be made.

How to reach Hotel Felmis
By car
Take motorway A2 exit Luzern-Horw. At the first roundabout, exit at Kriens. At the second roundabout, take the third exit in direction of Horw and Kastanienbaum. At the third roundabout take the first exit towards Kastanienbaum. At the fourth roundabout take the second exit heading for Felmis and Kastanienbaum. After about 1,5 km you will find the hotel on the left side, next to the mini golf and tennis court.
By train
From Lucerne railway station take bus line 21 heading for Horw/Kastanienbaum. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel.
