The location is near to the railway station and just by the famous Campel bridge.The breakfast is delicious. However,the room is a little bit small,and there is something wrong with our window.

EXPENSIVE BUT EXCELLENT HOTEL IN A PERFECT LOCATION-WALKING DISTANCE FROM LUZERN CENTRAL STATION AS WELL AS MOST OF THE SIGHTS IN LUZERN.GOOD SIZED ROOMS WITH ALL THE AMENITIES. GOOD BREAKFAST.WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

A business-orinted hotel so not overfull of character but it is conveniently situated for the station and the principal sights in Lucerne. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. It would have been nice if there had been tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

the best thing about the hotel is its location, right in the centre; but no views of the city/lake. but luzern is a small city, so you cant be really staying too far away from anything. very few staff members were quite good, the others not fit for their job. breakfast spread was very small and boring. overall ambience of the hotel is very dull. i doubt if its really a 4 star hotel, as claimed by the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Rooms quite small but well appointed and very clean. Excellent buffet breakfast. Hotel very close to train station and all the tourist sights.

Service provided by the male staff in the front desk is very poor. No smile, no eye contact, impolite and rude. The worst thing is they intented to charge us a higher room rate as reserved. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Room is clean and tidy but very small. Overall speaking, I do not recommend this hotel and I think the room is overpriced in terms of the poor service provided.

Excellent service. Location really can't be beat. Breakfast could have been better, but there were definitely options. The beds were wonderful; we often did not feel like getting out of them.

The location is perfect if you are arriving by train. It is a simple 5 minute walk from the station and another simple 5 minute walk over the Chapel Bridge into the old town. The hotel looks a little like a 1970's Holiday Inn but it is clean, quiet, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's hard to me to compare, not knowing the city very well or the other hotels, but it feels a little over-priced. I'm not sorry I stayed there but next time I'm going to look and see what else is out there.

How to reach Ameron Hotel Flora
By carFrom the A2 motorway take the exit "Luzern Zentrum" and remain in the left hand-side lane, following the signs for "Bahnhof/Zentrum". Drive down Pilatusstrasse, then in front of the railway station (Bahnhof) turn right and drive around the bus station making a complete U-Turn berfore re-entering Pilatusstrasse. After 70 Meters turn right into Seidenhofstrasse and the public parking "Flora". In case, that the parking is occupied, please use the nearest public parking "Kantonalbank" on block on the left hand side.
By train
Leave the railway station in the direction "See/Zentrum". Go out using the stairs or escalator via the Pilatusstrasse exit. Walk for 150 meters, then turn right into seidenhofstrasse and after a few meters you will reach the hotel entrance.
By public transportation
