Hotel Locanda l'Elisa guest room double room In the conversion to a hotel, though i would prefer to say house, account was taken of this precedent decoration, creating 10 suites and the salons with eighteenth century furniture, fabrics and carpets designed on the motif found on site.

In fact traces of works effected at that time can be found in the residual colours found under the plastering and in decorative elements still to be found in some of the rooms.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed our time at the small hotel which has a nice intimate atmosphere. I thought that for a 5 star hotel the breakfast should have been better. There was no fresh fruit nor was there fresh fruit juice. Plus, the restaurant is closed one day a week. The staff were very kind and helpful. Good position for those who want to tour the area. It was a bit whacky and full of character.

This is a fabulous little gem for those who like small charming places to stay. Vittorio was outstanding as far as information and communication both prior to arrival and during our stay. Would go back anytime I'm in the area!

Excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff,good food and accommodation. Perfect hotel for a romantic weekend. Taxi ride required to get to Lucca etc if you do not have transport

The restaurant is situated in a victorian style conservatory surrounded by a luxuriant garden of bushes, flowers and acquatic plants, crossed by a burbling brook, with a large swimming-pool.
