Hotel Hambros Il Parco - Lunata, Lucca

This hotel was a delightful suprise and the refubishments are excellent. Enjpyed the sculptures. WE would have appreciated a pool instead of just the sound of water but assume that is on the list for another year.

The desk was very welcoming and very helpfull.They provided us with a meal at 11 at night.They also gave us tips on what to do and see.As it was very warm during our stay we would have liked an airconditioning. THe park is very nice and indeed as stated by other visitors rather hard to find

This is a really nice and friendly hotel,especially if you are looking for a quiet stay. We hardly saw any other guests or staff but our rooms were cleaned and breakfast made each morning. I liked the hotel a lot but the location is not really near anything so you feel a bit isolated and that it's a bit of a treck to really get anywhere.

We had difficulty locating the hotel at first. The signage to the hotel is not well marked. We were impressed with the spaciousness of the rooms, shower stalls were small but par for the course in Italy. The staff were very friendly, particularly the reception staff who were very helpful in giving us directions to La Spezia and Prato and the best places to park. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would use it again ourselves. The breakfast was great, lots of choices.
