There are no clocks in the room and it's hard to find the time on the television. The phone instructions are poor, especially when it comes to room to room communication. In general, the hotel seems to have an attitude of, "Don't ask for help. We don't want to help you." The bathroom soaps even are tiny. Some of the front desk help is very good and courteous. Mario, for example. Others are not. I'm not a snob and I understand how busy Lourdes is. Still, I felt as if I were in a tourist trap. I don't think I would stay there again.

Service was generally excellent though the food was quite ordinary for a hotel of this class. The room was expensive even making allowance for the heavy volume of pilgrimage business this year in Lourdes.
