This hotel was very good value with friendly helpful staff and provided everything we needed. A great base to visit surrounding areas. There is a cheap and regular bus service to Faro and from there you can travel East and West along the coastal regions . Loule is more attractive than Faro and worth a visit for a few days. The cheaper rates reflect the distance from the coast but not the quality of service which was excellent.

Although the map was accurate, the one-way system in Loule is a nightmare, so be sure you have an accurate map with the arrows in the right place if you're driving there.

Loule turned out to be a much more interesting town than we expected and the hotel made an excellent base. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A word of warning for anyone arriving by train - Loule station is actually about 5km from the town and depending on time of day taxis can be scarce.
