An excellent choice, especially in regards to the price. Very clean and quiet. Excellent service. Breakfast service slightly below (slow) the rest of the hotel but still good. Little choice of restaurants in the direct neighbourhood.

I almost missed my flight due to the fact that taxi I ordered the night before was not waiting for us and we had to wait to a new order . The order went through the consierge of the hotel . The fact that no kingsize bed was available ruined our satisfaction of the room .

only thing I disliked was the persistent smell of some kind of desinfection ( detergent) substance which was omnipresent in the hotel. It is not the first time I enconter this smell in USA but, as an European, I am not used to it. It had no perfume but a "chemical" smell.

Great Hotel. Incredible friendly staff. Very nice rooms (had a suite but normal rooms looked very nice as well!!) Great design. Good value for your money.outside or inside breakfast,lunch,diner. Would definately stay here again !!

The Luxe Hotel was a good base for a few days in LA. The staff were all very helpful. The room was large and had a large balcony with a great view over part of LA. The only real downside is that the hotel is not as tranquil as is suggested on its website. It is right next to a freeway, and is not double glazed. The traffic can be heard when it is quiet, although this noise fades into the background after a while. A car is definitely needed for a stay at the Luxe, as it is not within wlaking distance of any attractions. It is handily located for the freeway though and is not too far from Santa Monica to the west, and Holywood/Beverly Hills to the east, meaning that it is a good base.

The Oasis Lounge is situated just off the lobby and hotel guests and locals alike mingle in this airy, comfortable and casual lounge bar.

The bar is open daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., offering a full array of select boutique wines, beer and mixed drinks, including seasonal cocktails such as a blood orange or pomegranate Martinis.

A tasty small plates and appetizers are also available. Selections range from Luxe signature pizzas prepared in the on-site pizza oven, sandwiches, truffle pomme frittes (French fries with a truffle accent), to Kobe beef mini-burgers, mini tuna burgers, cheese plates, and artisan made fresh bread.
