The staff are not welcoming and they are not cooperative. The internet is very bad and we asked the staff to fix it to us but they did not care. The room was full of insects and was very noisy. The parking was not good with limited space. I do not recommend this hotel for nice holiday.

Our room was very clean. The restaurant & bar was very nice and very reasonably priced. The waitresses & bartender were both really nice. Great place to stay if catching a flight from LAX; free shuttle was awesome. Parking was not good; had to park across the street. Not the best area around hotel, but inside was nice. Don't really recommend for families, but fine for adults. Very limited on their extra pillows!!!!

This hostel and hotel is one of the worst one in LA area, I understand we cannot expect more than normal because of extremely cheap price at this place. However, the receptionists at the front desk were so unfriendly, using inappropriate languages, the room was so stinky , ugly, dirty, no questions. finally my room key card did not work all the times, I asked to change, or fix the card more than 5 times within just one night staying. This is the worst hotel ever, but the price was very cheap.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at the Los Angeles adventurer hotel. The front desk attendant was wearing a shockingly revealing black black blouse which attire is inappropriate for a professional setting. Due to the sloppy nature of the attendant's attire I felt uncomfortable and honestly could not recommend the property. .

I enjoyed seeing and hearing young people from all over the world. The food/snacks provided throughout the day were a welcome extra. We also rented a car from the vendor located in the hotel which was another plus. My only complaint was the parking which is generally insufficient--we had to park on the street twice during our five-night stay. However, I would stay here again.

Brilliant motel, especially for a lay-over from the airport. Loads of freebies which pretty much take care of most of your meals and free popcorn all day long. Good shuttle around various places but took a wee while to get us from the airport - it was all free through so I can't complain. I would definately recommend this place and stay again.

Good hotel but it is an old building and we see it! It's very near Lax Airport and this is a good thing for who has to reach it. Beautiful the outdoor swimming pool with hot water! Bad bad the service at the restaurant. Don't go to the restaurant. Slow service and bad waiters.

Spent two nights. Handy for LAX. Area a bit dodgy but hitel provided free shuttle to beach and airport.Great atmosphere around hotel grounds like a grown-up hostel, lots of freebies - coffee all day, buffet in the evening nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would use hotel again.

I was looking for a cheap overnight stay in LA and this was definitely cheap. Huge (but ugly) rooms. Rather scary neighborhood and had police running through the hotel during the evening chasing some people. Not a bad place given the price, but I would recommend other places if you are wanting to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the pool.

Particolare super accogliente sembra di arrivare ad una festa nella zona piscina, fantastici i jukebox sempre in funzione. Adatto ai giovani e a tutti coloro di mente aperta. Camere spaziose e col frigo. Posizione comoda zona aereoporto. Consigliato.

We boooked a cottage for two persons and it was great, we had a little livingroom and a fridge and a sink. The bedroom was big enough and the bathroom was ok. The blueberrymuffins for breakfast were great and for free. We also liked the heated pool, we went in there every evening, it's kind of nice to relax in there after a long day. The roomservice from the restaurant was also good and fast and for free. The shuttel to the hotel was also good ant they have some friendly drivers, and of course for free...All in all I would come back to the Adventure hotel, we had a good time there.

my boyfirend and i really enjoyed the time in this hotel, don't let the outside fool you. behind the doors it is way different. the rooms were comfortable and clean. they offer a lot of activities and places you can go to. the area around the hotel is okay, but you shouldn't go out by yourself late at night. the best have been the free blueberry muffins for breakfast (the best i ever ate)i think you can't get a better hotel for this price. we would stay there again if we would come to LA again.

I still don't understand their room charge policy. I stayed your hotel with my daghter. They charged me extra $11 for second person. In your web site it doesn't say anything about extra charge from 2nd person. My room didn't have a chain key. Tilet was not flashable. I was not happy at all.

I stayed at the Los Angeles Adventurer with my boyfriend. We're both college students and in a long distance relationship. So, for our tastes this hotel was affordable and provided above average services for the price I paid. Do not let the outside of the hotel scare you away no matter what you think! With the price and the way it looks, you might be tempted to change your mind, but don't! My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. It was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The welcoming is okay; they're not rude, but they're not extremely friendly either. However, the employees are very helpful and competent. There is some noise at night (like people playing loud music), but that stops around 10 PM. The food at the restaurant in the hotel is very good for the price you pay. The waitresses are friendly. The free continental breakfast consists of two very yummy blueberry muffins and the free dinner buffet we had consisted of chili fries, tater tots, and white rice. We also ordered French Toast that was really good and we also tried this fudge brownie thing they had with vanilla ice cream, which was so good, I couldn't believe how my boyfriend and I chowed down on it (those items are from the restaurant menu and cost something like $5). The free wireless internet connection is very poor from the room, but if you go to the lobby you'll get a strong signal. Although we didn't use it, the swimming pool was in working order. It was cold in LA when we were there, but the swimming pool is heated and I saw people swimming and enjoying the water despite the slightly cold weather on one day.

Not an area to be walking around at night but great if you have a car. Booked the private cottage which was excellent value. A bit shabby but you get what you pay for! Would go back if ever in LA again.

I would never stay here again. The hotel was loud, there were stains all over my room (both on the carpet and walls), the bathroom window didn't work, the air conditioner was leaking, the towels were dirty with hair and random stains. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! Pay the extra $30 and stay in a better hotel located closer to LAX.

I don't think one can find a better quality/price ratio anywhere. I had been discouraged by the number of negative reviews, so I decided to try this hotel only the last day of my stay. I regret for not staying in the whole week. So please if you're used to stay in a 5 star hotel, don't rate this one.

the hotel was "OK" however the service is very poor...The water heater on our bathroom was not functioning and we informed the front desk about this problem four times and nothing was done about it!!! Talk about great service...even for a cheap hotel at around $50 a night, this doesn't justify for their poor service
