The room was clean. From water stains on the carpet and damage to some of the furnishings, it was apparent that the room had suffered some water damage. Details that marred the visit included the toilet's "phantom flush" and the noise from the neighboring room (the rooms had a connecting door which diminished effects at sound proofing). Otherwise, the hotel can't be beat for its price and its location--right next to a park and by the beach.

The room was what I would describe as shabby chic. If you want brand new, cookie cutter room go somewhere else. If you want roomy value with really helpful staff this is the place.
