A lovely Hotel in the foothills of the Appennines that includes Breakfast - not a true B&B. Staff a little stiff but some English skills. A fine restaurant for dinner, a little pricey, great breakfast buffet. Good memory-foam matress. Wireless internet in room. Long, very scenic drive from main highway - be careful not to confuse with other DiRocco property, this one is beyond Penne. A little disappointing if you are looking for the charm/ambience of a true, in-home B&B. Fine for impersonal, one night.

The person that booked us in on our arrival could have been more happy, but other than that we found this to be a very good, quiet,comfortable hotel with helpful staff.

Reception speak a little English but it helps if you speak Italian in this area. Reception are friendly and let us use their internet to check into our return flight. Loreto Aprutino is the best little village this is our 5th time here the area is wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There was a young man at the front desk who was so incredibly helpful. We enjoyed breakfast very much. They had salami, proscuitto, fresh fruit (fresh pineapple which I love), cereal, yogurt, homemade pastries were excellent. I love how they make Cafe Americano. Staff very hospitable. The owner, not so much. I can't recommend the restaurant. The food was ok. Don't order the grilled meat. It was like shoe leather. As a home cook even I know how to grill steak and pork so they stay juicy. Our waiter forgot our pasta one meal and brought the wrong wine. We speak some Italian so were able to correct it but after the first night felt we could eat better elsewhere.

Photo on internet shows water feature at front of hotel. reality as concrete car park ! Food was very mediocre. Poor facilities (not internet)

Sur le site, la photo montre un hôtel en bord de mer. Or l'hôtel Di Rocco est perché dans les montagnes (sur la route départementale à côté d'une station service) !!!! Sinon, l'hôtel est très bien et son restaurant très correct. Calme (malgré la proximité de la route)(sauf les samedis de mariage...), chambres et sdb très spacieuses, parking devant l'hôtel, personnel très pro et attentionné.

The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, but the owners less so. The location isn't ideal, being situated next to a petrol station and not very close to the village of Loreto Aprutino.
