On arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find my room better then I had expected. I had a very nice double room which was quiet at the rear of the hotel. The location was very convenient, close to the tube station, across the road from the V&A, a local bus & tour bus stop just outside.

Good hotel, friendly staff, could leave your luggage while the room was not ready early in the morning. Even were happy to guard it after checkout on the day we left. Excellent breakfast

We stayed six nights at the Rembrandt and had a wonderful time overall. It's tricky to figure out how to keep the power on in the rooms (card-key inserted by door) and the A/C-heating took a while to understand, but after one night we worked it all out. Our room was upgraded (free) but still a little tight on space, but the quality was excellent and the location perfect for our needs. Food was wonderful and offered lots of variety - pre-6:30 p.m. deal on dinner (25% off) is a great bargain for a fine meal. Breakfast buffet was also huge and tasty, salmon plate from the bar one evening almost too much to finish. Reception offered a plug adaptor for 220-current but not a converter - if you want to use a computer (and recharge it) or electric gadgets, buy a converter kit before you come. London is far more expensive than we would have dreamed, but this is a really good value in a small luxury hotel, and restaurants nearby were also excellent. We would definitely stay here again and found all the staff friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at this hotel several times. The Location is great, rooms are average size, clean and pleasantly decorated, although it may be time for an update. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
