Good price, cleanliness, central location and friendly staff. The breakfast room is small but enough, five tables for ten rooms. We never had to wait. It's not a luxurious hotel but if you're looking for something cheap and clean it's good for you. I didn't like that they ask you for the money of the whole stay when you arrive. The wifi didn't work.

The room for six is a little one but acceptable for the price and clean. The localitation of the hotel, near to Victoria Station at walking distance is so practical. We were walking also to the Buckingham Palace. The most important thing at the hotel was the attention of the employees at the check in,emergencies and for breakfast time.

Very clean and very friendly employees.. and very good located. I went with my parents (over 60) and they like it. No elevator.

Old house, so do not expect state-of-the-art facilities, but good service and in an excellent location. Does not give more than it offers, but what it offers it gives with no bad surprises. We had a nice stay and would repeat given the chance.

Poor hotel in great location. Room which served as reception and breakfast room and later dining room was too small to let everyone eat calmly and without hurry. Breakfast hours are too short. If hotel is full people need to wait to get some table. I cannot say much about the rooms but the desciption that most of the rooms has there own bathroom is not true. Rooms does have access to the toilet which by the way is loced with the padlock. That are disadvantages of the hotel. Generally speaking it is nice hotel, but too small for many guest.

We stayed four nights in a six person room in the below ground floor, so a lot of my evaluation is based on a very cramped room with a window opening to the central drain. Not the most salubrious surroundings, but cannot fault the hotel on room service - everyday they serviced our chock a block crammed space and remade beds etc. Breakfast room was incredibly tight, but service from staff was lovely and brekky was light but loads of choice and a good start to the day. The last night we had a kid's friend join us so booked a double room as well. This was on the ground floor and was luxurious after a room for 6. Noisy when neighbour slammed door (obviously couldn't understand the sign in English not to:-) Location was brilliant (great area and great restaurants nearby) and for a family of 6, the room was very economical and clean - big ticks!!

The staff are nice and helpful!! But the location is little bit far from the Victoria station, especially we carried bulky luggages.

First time in London. Great city! The hotel is very well situated. The room is small but very clean. Breakfast is very good. The only negative point is the street noise... A lot of ambulance and police. For sure we will go back.

Nice area and near train station. The bathrooms were extrremely small and you could hear noise from nearby rooms. Employees extremely helpful. The breakfast did not start early enough (0800) to allow us to eat and get to the airport for our morning flight.

Fine for a night's stay. Cheap, clean, near Victoria station. Don't take your cat, and if you do you won't be able to swing it in the room...!

the hotel exceeded my standard.i went with a group of mother/daughter's, 11 in all. We found the rooms small but very clean. We were in an excellent location with all types of restaurants in the evening. The staff were very helpful at all times. The bathrooms were small but very clean. When I return to London I will definately go back.

The Hotel is in a good place in London, it is near to Victoria Station and the rooms are comfotable. The unique problem that we have here, this was the hot water for the mornings. Out of this, the Hotel is a good option for family vacations.

We chose this hotel because it is so close to the Victoria Coach station. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was limited and the dining room too small.

The location is very good, near the bus station and near Victoria Station. Easy to reach it from Stansted (train to Liverpool str. and then the underground Circle Line). From Victoria station you can take bus no.11 or 24 and they will take you to the most important attractions. Buckingham Palace and surroundings can be reached by foot. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. Have you more than one suitcase, it is not sure you have place for both of them if you also want to sleep in the same room. However the room is quite clean. Breakfast is good. The location of the hotel and the flowers at the main entrance increase the rating of the hotel.

I stayed with my frend at Surtees Hotel in London during our vacation. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel was really very cosy. The room was was clean. The only thing we missed, was the floor of our room being vacoomed once in a while. We are both allergic. The breakfast was ok, though the breakfast room was quite small.

We had some problems with room we had booked (twin ensuite 65L). The host told that previous guests had demaged it and he offered us basic double for 60L or triple for 70L. We tried to find another hotel but that weekend was totaly mad in termes of visitors. Generally I find our stay very nice and I would recommend the hotel in general (the nices hotel I have ever stay in Victoria surrandings).

Fazit: Wir kommen gern wieder!

I stayed there with my family for one night. The welcoming was excellent. We arrived prior to the check in hour and they kept our luggage while we took a walk to get to know the city. They also spoke to us in spanish with was nice. The breakfast was good and they were very attentitive. The room was small but we expected that but it was cosy and we had warm water and soft beds to sleep in. There is not lift and the stairs were narrow but this is standard in London. I would definitelly recommend and go back to this hotel.
