The smell from the bathroom was awfull. We obtained another better room. In both rooms the carpet and the bathroom were not tidy enough. The name "Sheriff Inn" does not appear anywhere at the address given by venere.com, instead we found "Grapevine Hotel". That was at first quite disturbing when whe arrived there at one in the morning. We have not yet experience any other hotel in London.

The staff was perfectly welcoming but the room was NOTHING like the picture; it was clean but tiny and cheaply furnished. I would have expected the room to be fairly priced at maybe one fourth the rate. We were horrified when the friendly clerk showed us the room.

No sign anywhere that says "Sheriff Inn" (check-in is at the Grapevine, found only by the street address). Not the charming hotel that the exterior photo suggests. Barely clean, very tiny. "Breakfast" is a misnomer. Positives: we were able to leave our luggage for several hours after check-out; location is 5-6 blocks walk from train/bus stations.

Follow Buckingham Palace Road towards Victoria coach station. At the set of traffic lights turn left onto Elizabeth Bridge leading to St Georges Drive. Then take the first road on the right into Hugh Street and then the first left leading to Cambridge Street. The property's reception is located at the end of the street at 117 Warwick Way - at the junction of Cambridge Street and Warwick Way.
By airplane
From Heathrow airport, take the Piccadilly line towards Cockfosters up to Gloucester Road. Then switch onto the Circle line to Victoria station. The property is a very short stroll away.
From Gatwick airport, take the Gatwick Express to Victoria station. The property is a very short stroll away.
From Luton airport, take the First Capital Connect towards Brighton up to King's Cross Thameslink railway station. The reach Kings Cross underground on foot and take the Victoria line towards Brixton. Get off at Victoria station. The property is a very short stroll away.
