A fantastic hotel - really good quality room that was comfortable and clean. Well located for central London. Remember, this is a budget hotel, so don't expect 5* luxury, but this is really good value for money.

Very good position inside a cute "village" like Bayswater. Good breackfast, and room very cleaned. The spaces in the rooms are good, but there aren't wardrobe or table, or something like that to put dresses and jackets ext. Anyway, good choice for the journey, the hotel is located very near all the attractions of london, 15 minutes max by tube.

I was very concerned since my wife developed a skin condition on both her hands during our stay in the hotel, upon our return we consulted our doctor who confirmed that this type of skin problem is normally caused by some sort of insect that manifests itself in quilts. I was travelling with my wife.

Cheap hotel in good location. Rooms are very small, double bed of 1.40 meter width. Booked a twin room, but this type of room wasn't available. Price/quality for London ok, especially for the superb location of the hotel.

This hotel was the worst experience in my life! Yes, after all it was just a two star hotel, and of course I didn't expect it to be a Sheraton! All I wanted was just a simple room, not necessarily pretty, but AT LEAST it had to be CLEAN!!! Instead there were wads of dust and dirt everywhere, so that we "feared" to touch everything! Our bed has never been made (only the blanket was just laid over) and the towels never changed! Even the water on the floor of the bathroom (left after the shower) was never dried with a cloth. As a matter of fact, I guess no one ever entered our room to do the cleaning! The top was when my boyfriend told me, at the end of the holiday, that he had even found a tick in our bed (and killed it)!!!!!!!!! He knows how ticks are made as he has dogs at home. But this wasn't all... The staff wasn't friendly at all, and I even had to quarrel at the beginning of our stay as they didn't accept American Express, even if they had the label on the door. We had to pay cash and in advance (as they required) but they didn't fulfilled my demand for a discount. Breakfast was of real poor quality (and, believe me, I am never fussy about these things, I eat almost everything!), but coffee was similar to dirty water, and the fruit juice was undrinkable. I would have to say many other things, but these were the main ones. A really bad experience!

All in all I can say that the description on the web was fair. But tidyness and size of the room didn´t meet my expectations. The toilet seat was broken. Even the hotel rooms in Istanbul have been better! But the staff was friendly and they gave their best.

Pretty good place to stay, but be careful what type of room you request. I was travelling with my parents and requested a single and a double room; the single we got but the double was actually a twin with 2 very small single beds! Also had to turn hot water tap in shower on for 10 minutes before getting actually getting hot water.

Dirty. Smelled of urine. Slept with a suitcase against my door in case of intruders. Heard everything my neighbours were doing. Water stank of sulphur Even at a reasonable price, there's no excuse for such squalor. Regarding the photo of the property. There is a very nice pub/restaurant next door. From the photo, I assumed that the hotel would be above it, and therefore reasonable. Not at all the case. It is misrepresented. I would not book on venere again. In fact, I feel like I should be entitled to a refund;

Had a bad experience with this hotel. We ordered 3 twinrooms and 2 single rooms. When we got there they had only 2 doublerooms. We finally got 4 doublerooms, but two of us had to go to another hotel for one night. We did not get any compensation for this, we had to pay the actual price. But the manager was friendly and tried to find rooms for us all, so it turned out ok in the end.

When we entered our room our hearts sank. The overall feel of the room was dirty and grubby. The bathroom was disgusting, the wiring was dangerous, extractors hanging in the bathroom, electrical equipment was broken (hair dryer + TV) the wardrobes doors were broken and the carpet was disgusting and sticky. There was a cockroach trap outside our bedroom door and we just hated it. There was a whole load of rubbish on the roof outside our room window, it was not a place to relax and enjoy, just sleep and get out the hell out of there for the day. On the positive side the beds were made daily, the sheets and towels were clean and the room was warm. Reviewed by Lucinda Nicholls (Family Group) to send us your feedback or

Lot of noise from street. A lot. Trucks in middle of night, try to get one not on street, or higher up. Can get very hot if you close the window. Otherwise, people friendly, rooms were smalllllll but neat/clean.

Hello if you want to save money during your stay in London it may be ok but, remember, the hotel is very very poor (expecially in clearness and spaciouness).

The room was very ugly and too small. One bed was only 50 cm long and the bed-linen are very dirty. The room was very noisy, nobody said to us, that the hotel is standing on a very noisy street. The prize isnt right for this, which we had seen, there are a lot of another hotels with the same prize for triple room and they all were better and only five minutes from this hotel away.
