this should be a 2 star not 3 i believe the rooms for 2 and more people are much nicer than the single i got in the basement of the 24 building, it was extremly hot even turning off the heater and opening the window did not help because the wall by the bed was very warm so sauna, ventilation in W/C was poor the room smelled of mildew. the hotel is in an excellent location but so are a lot of other small hotels.

The lights in the room did not work, the tv and tv remote did not work. The beds were camp beds, the window was open, to reveal less than a inch away, where all the rubbish goes, this was not in bins. Breakfast was boiled eggs, toast but neither toaster worked, some cheese and cereal. The toasters were placed by two door ways, people could not get in, or try and use the toaster. Coffee was disgusting, like treacle. Over all a poor experience, lightened only by the price, paid £70 for double room. (Although this was to single like camp beds) oh and the shower was good

Excellent value for money. People get what they pay for. This was better than I expected for the price. It was clean, good reception staff. Breakfast was very basic but overall excellent. Would go again!

I have never had such a horrible experience. I was charged for a double room. but it turned out to be a tiniest room ever in any hotel anywhere so far. I got hurt with the iron frame for the bed. There was no place anywhere to keep luggage not even one suitcase. On top of that when asked for to keep it in the storage room, they charge 5GBP per day. really

YES, the rooms are very small indeed. YES, the breakfast room is even smaller compared to the number of guests who are supposed to eat there. BUT everything else (cleanliness, surroundings, ...) is really good. One just cannot expect big, air-conditioned rooms and an extensive brekfast buffet in the midst of London for such a fabulous price. We just left out breakfast and went to nearby cafes or pubs offering a full English breakfast for 7 or 8 Pounds.

The hotel rooms were very small and quite stifling at first because we were in the third floor, so just under the roof. Luckily, the air conditioning worked. I was just in front of the lift, and that was a nightmare because the rooms are not soundproof at all. It was therefore very noisy and the fact there are TV in all the rooms turned out to be a nuisance because of the size of the rooms!

The room was small, hot (not air-con, only a fan), stuffy and I could not wait to check out. We were in the lower basement which frankly should not be used for paying cutomers or should be a half the price we paid. The TV didn't work and the safe was missing the relevant button to lock. Based on this, we did not want to risk the breakfast which was served once again in the smallest, stuffiest rooms ever. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The ONLY good thing was the location which I would imagine is the only reason they are still in business.
