If a family needs two rooms and have small children this hotel is not good. We had our rooms several stairs from each other. It was good that we could use the internal telephone. The rooms are very expensive according to the standard, but I think that's not unusual in a big city. The night receptionist asked if he should ourder a taxi when we should go to the airport bus. When we should pay we realized that the taxi was twice as expensive as if we had got it from the street and we also realized that the receptionist had some sort of commission for that! That would never happen in Sweden. They just do it as a service here.

It is apparant that the smallest rooms are used for clients who only stay for one night.No lift and no assistance offered to carry bags up four floors. No facilities for breakfast for early departures(7-30 breakfast)

Normandie Hotel is not "recently completely renovated to a very high standard". Don´t belive in their photos. Avoid room nr 1. Had to wait 2 nights for another room. There was no hotel highlights! Breakfast was ok.
