Pluses: A very nice hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone. Super excellent location, a quiet street, a good view on a beautiful garden (room 10). The room was cosy and clean. It offered everything one needs to take a rest after a busy day of sighseeing. Minuses: The sanitary ware needs some renovation (the cracked wooden seat on the bowl, separate taps for cold and hot water, absence of a shelf in the shower tub - no place to put your soap or shower gel). But those minor drawbacks didn't spoil the whole favourable impression.

We stayed one week. Room was cleaned every day. Location is great - just 100m from the Earls Court Station which is very good position for visiting London. Surrounding area is full of markets, pubs and bakeries. Good value for money!

Had a great stay at Maranton! Stayed in Room 11 (right above the reception). Room was big enough for the two of us, with a nice touch of tea/coffee making facility. TV was not exactly working very well with very few channels but heck, who had time for TV? The room and the bathroom was very clean and we had new towels everyday! Location-wise I have nothing to complain. 2 minutes from Earls' Court tube that can connect you to town AND airport easily. Also served by night bus if you come back late. Plenty of food/supermarkets on the main road. Staff was nice to let us drop off our bags when we were too early to check in. Overall a very pleasant stay! If I ever come back to London, would not hesitate to stay here again! One word of caution though, if you are looking for luxury then this is not the place. The staircase to climb may not be friendly to all too.

Good service and hotel as described, good staff, only one note: the room was too hot, in november with 6°C we had slept with the window completely open... maybe there were 30°C in the room... We didn't try the breakfast, the only thing we can say is that the price asked was the same written in the description.

Hotel pulito, bagno comodo, camere piccole ma funzionali e carine. Posizione ottima sia per visitare la città sia per lo shopping da Harrods. Collegamenti metro e bus molto vicino (meno di 500 mt). Consigliato

Positively, the Hotel was very conveniently situated close to Earl's Court tube and a number of handy shops (M&S Food open until 11pm) and restaurants, but down a quiet street. Although it was clean enough, surroundings basic but ok, annoying little things showed a lack of attention to detail. Light above bed didn't work, tv reception was rubbish, no hairdryer, no-one but cleaner on reception on arrival - who had to go and find someone. So although they were kind enough to let me leave my bag there for a few hours on departure day, it was just left in reception, and I wasn't convinced receptionist would be present! More like a B&B really, but with breakfast as extra (I didn't bother). I wouldn't stay there again - no-one seemed really interested in you as a customer, no-one asked if everything was ok.

We appreciated the fact that the hotel is very close to Earl's Court station and Picadilly line, as it is easy to reach Heathrow airport and most of the points of interest. This time we did not have a nice room, it was on the third floor, and the bathroom and toilet were definitely not ok. We know other rooms at this hotel which are much better and which we would very much like to stay in again, but certainly not in the room we had this time.

The Hotel at itself was ok. Near the Tube but quiet road, very close to some restaurants and pubs. The worst thing was breakfast. It was absolutely uneatable, for two persons two black burned toasts and a at least three days old croissant. Sausage and cheese weren`t eatable as well. We would stay again in the Hotel but without breakfast.

This hotel is old. Our room was dusty and smelled like mold. The toilet took 15 min to fill up after each flush, which was very inconvenient. The shower head was broken and just hung limp off the wall, and the shower door did not shut all the way, so the bathroom was soaked with each shower. The hairdryer was broken. Breakfast was terrible. They did not even have real coffee- it was instant. I would never stay here again.

The double bed is unacceptably small unless you happen to be two sardines sharing it; extra bedding availble is uncomfortable and obsolete; room is stifling; breakfaast is scanty/unimaginative and if you happen to turn up at 9.30 sharp you can't even get a cup of tea. The bathroom is clean and perfectly adequate - one quaint note: you are given courtesy biscuits each day but only one lot of courtesy foam/shampoo no matter how long your stay is! The staff is polite and the people we spoke to do their best.
