Although being clean, our room was extremely small. The 5 pound unlimited internet is a myth!!!

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Olympia station. There really isn't anything in the area of the hotel. It is a residential area with no stores, except one take out (away) fast food restaurant, which I didn't try. The front desk man wasn't the friendliest guy and was frustrated with me when I accidentally left my key in my room because in order to get in your room you have to pass through two doors. The doors are so close together, you have no room to maneuver in between the two doors when I was moving my luggage in. The hotel is pretty confusing the way it is structured, no direction of where your rooms are. The rooms are pretty basic and clean and a little old. You barely have enough room to open your luggage. It is almost impossible to close the shower doors. I thought there was free wifi for the room, but it is only in the lobby and the lobby consist of two chairs and the tv which the guy watches from the front desk. The price is nice for London, but that's the only reason I would stay here. If you're just looking for a room to sleep in this place is ok.

For the Notting Hill Carnival, I booked a room. This was small, but very clean. Towles and cheets were changed everyday. The bathroom was cleaned every morning.

I had a late arrival and get a room at the ground floor. It was a very bad smell there that make my stay bad.

I've never done anything like this before. But, when I checked out, I actually shook the hand of the man behind the desk and congratulated him. What they aim to do at the Westfield, they do PERFECTLY. Sure, the rooms are MINISCULE, the windows painted shut, the TV (though a lovely flat-screen) a bit prone to going wonky, the breakfast very basic (which was fine for me - just wanted coffee!!) But none of that matters. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the decor is sharp and modern. Everything is entirely painless. There is literally nothing worth complaining about. And, if you shop around, you can get a room there for around £40. THAT'S why you stay here. Because it's half the price of any equivalent room in London. And you will leave thinking: "Oh my god. That wasn't awful at all. That was really, really good!" And you'll tell your friends like I have. And you'll fill in a form like this on the internet - which you NEVER usually bother to do! Couldn't recommend it enough. But don't drive the prices up, you lot! Else I'll cry. I'm staying there again next week, btw. And I'll do so every time I'm in London on business from now on.

Positive - very good hotel for the price. Clean, lift worked, breakfast OK Negative - bit of a long walk from the tube room small and the front of the hotel is noisy. Really negative - I had a seriously leaking sink which I reported on Monday night and the receptionist said it woiuld be repaired the next day. The next day it hadn't been fixed and when I complained another recptionist shrugged and said 'I know'. It wasn't fixed the next day and only after a screaming rant in reception did a third recptionist accept that it wouldn't be fixed and move me to another room

Lift was broken. Lock on one of our rooms worked intermittently & was not repaired or replaced after reporting it. Rooms are typical size for Europe but tiny by American standards.Breakfast ends promptly at 9:29!Several blocks to nearest tube stations.Still renovating property-may be better with time.

Nice area. Hotel still under renovation, therefore a bit noisy. A bit to far from central London. Nice price for rooms with clean bathrooms.
