Great hotel if you on a budget. Close to train station. Close enough to walk to some of the theatres! Great for people watching and an evening stroll. Felt very safe walking at night.

The location is fine. There are terminals within 10-min walk. They provide usual English breakfast. A room was quite small for three adults. Every step makes noise and shake. There is no lift and stairs are narrow to bring up suitcases. There is no desk to work in the room.

Chosen because of closeness to St Pancras (5 minutes' walk). As it was pouring with rain when I left, I would have been better off staying further away, paying less and getting a taxi! My basement single room could have been a butler's pantry - VERY small! As it was below street level, all the street noise could be heard constantly.

The rooms at the Judd Hotel are clean and well serviced, but small. There is no desk. The 24 hour reception is not always attended and on two occasions, I was locked out of the hotel for 10 and 15 minutes respectively until the receptionist returned to his desk. No apologies were proffered, even though I registered a complaint. Do not request the receptionist to call a you a taxi, unless you do not mind using an unlicensed minicab with no fare meter.

Booked this room as it was one of only a few Quad rooms available in London during early-mid July 2012 (right before the Olympic games). Most rooms in the area were much more expensive. The room was small, but clean. Unfortunately my husband and I had to sleep on a fold out couch double bed which was not very comfortable and was very squeaky whenever we rolled over. And there was no other option available as the rooms were sold out. Hotel location was convenient and trains were close by. Laundry facilities are around the corner in case you need it. Staff is very friendly, but not always helpful (not from lack of trying though). Breakfast was nice. Free wifi was a bonus for us!

Value for money BUT (1) very noisy in particular because of a fire door, (2) TV not working on arrival, (3) breakfast is average and served between 7am and 9am sharp... no chance to get even a coffee at 9.01 !!!

Great location. Friendly staff. Very clean, modern, comfortable rooms - single room was very small but well designed and pleasant. Good value for money (we were on top floor - if stairs are a problem you may want to check this when booking.) Would stay again and recommend.

Although it is a very nice hotel in a great location, my wife and I were very disappointed with the room. It was tiny and the double bed took up almost the whole room. The room was only just big enough to accommodate one small chair but no table. Poor value for money.

I chose this hotel for a brief stay based on price, the guest reviews and it's location...a quiet area within walking distance from King's Cross/St Pancras (for travel to and from LHR) and Russell Square stations. We had stayed in similarly priced hotels in the past and the Judd far surpassed them because of it's recent renovation, it's cleanliness, and it's accomodating staff, both in reception and in the breakfast room. I have no complaints!

We had an enjoyable experience at the Judd; rooms were clean and staff was outstanding. Surprised by comments on the size room, it was not large but when on vacation I am not spending time in the room. The breakfast was very nice and was a good start for a day of tourist activities. Hotel is located in walking distance to the underground and local pubs for dinner.
