Good relationship between quality and price for the London standards.Litte rooms but clean, thin walls (you have to be lucky with the neighborough).Never had bad surprices. The hotel is 10 min to earl's court undergound from wich you can go everywhere and near a Saintsbury supermarket. Don't mind if the hotel keeper is not gentle,he don't like speak and help. Breackfast is good but always the same for the eternity.

Not very competent staff. No service worth to mention. Sleep here if you just want a room and don't care about the service and/or breakfast. Not the cleanest place but ok if you only sleep there for a few nights and spend most of your evenings somewhere else.

Colazione essenziale.

In general hotel is OK for it's price/quality, but a bit far away from the City for 55 quid. Was staying in the back of the hotel and it was absolutely quite there. Room was clean for a hotel of such a standard. Reception man was welcoming.

I was in London for a week. When you registar at this hotel you must ask for a room at the rear of the establishment... otherwise the traffic noise is too much. Overall, I found the hotel an excellent value. I would use it again

In general, it is a good example of a very low price hotel. It was acceptable at all except the smell. It was like if there was 200 people smoking on my room just before I went in. I recommend you to pay a bit more and tray another one.

Our room wundow was broken and I slept with all the traffic noise from street, when I asked for a new room they gave us a basement room ., moldy and very small !!

Very good experience, quality is good for the money you pay. We went to London other time and the "young hostel" was awfull, and we paid the same!!! Room is comfortable, with bathroom, TV... our room was "twin bed room", the same that you can see in photo in this site. Tube station is near and you have supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, near the hotel too. Repetiremos.

Room was musty and needed cleaning; there is a surcharge on credit cards (this was not mentioned previously); although breakfast was included in total price, only toast and one kind of cereal was offered. There was also a surcharge for luggage stored in the hotel before check-in and after check-out. Price was too high for quality of services offered.

The hotel was quite good, and the price absolutely excellent compared to London standards. Only two negative remarks: the room was not perfectly clean (but I think it is not unusual in England) and we had to pay 3,5 pounds more for using the credit card to pay the bill (it never happened to me using venere.com, the declared price had always been the exact one). Anyway, I'd certainly recommend it, to stay in London in a pretty central zone at a very low price.

IN february 3 guys from Denmark, went to London and stayed on West Cromwell Hotel for 3 days. We especially enyojed the animal-theme in our room, which was really good compared to the price we payed. The breakfast was good too, but we found the staff a bit sour, - but maybe this was causedby the rice we put in the toilet:) You can enter the hotel the whole night which we found very good.

The advertised price at the time of the booking was not honoured. The confirmation message came back with a different *more expensive* price. On making an equiry to venere.com staff, I was informed that the Hotel/Venere had had misunderstood the correct tariff for the room. Neither party would accept responsibility, and I was thus charged at the higher rate. One of the reception staff were quiet rude and abrupt. Others were much better. Problem with towel service. Hand towels were provided instead of bath towels! The Hotel charges for luggage storage on checkout. Note, if you travel in a group and stay in multiple rooms, the Hotel will charge you a luggage charge per room, regardless of how many artilces you have. Complimentary Breakfast was of a good standard.

Siamo stati molto bene.

This stay was the worst we ever had... Check-in was more than 30minutes later than it was told. The service was unfriendly. The room we thought would be a joke! It was so small that we were not able to stand side to side together. The bed was a double, but it was so small... The bathroom was dirty and there were several little animals on the floor. The "continental" breakfast consists of toast with jam or cornflakes. The storage of luggage after checking out costs 5 Pound... We will never visit this hotel again! And if you have the choice: choose anoter!!!

I was very disappointed, the room I would not keep a pig in.The windows would not shut and blew freezing air onto my head and neck all night. I was very cold and developed a very bad cold. The wirering was dangerous.the tv had no airial thus no picture.the breakfast wasniether continental or english. in all itwas the worst hotel I have ever stayed. And I have been in the hotel industry for many years. I did not exspect to get much for the price in london. But I would not have exspected this.

Well, you get what you pay for... My room was tiny, but had all the necessary facilities (including a bed spread with leopard patterns). Mildew on the shower curtains, rooms facing street are bound to be noisy and the elevator is VERY tiny (about 2 cubic meters). Very basic breakfast. We had to wake up the receptionist (his room is in the basement) when we wanted to check out (is 8 am early?). But if you don't mind a bit of dirt, noise and slow staff, I guess this place gives value for the money (£ 32 per night), if you're just looking for a place to sleep.

Friendly staff, poor breakfast, small but clean room, electronical equipment needs to be replaced. I had the impression, that I had the special rate of all special rates (45 Pounds) and therefore got the smallest room available in the whole hotel, what at least was o.k. for me as we only needed a room to sleep in during our stay. But this would definitely not be the hotel I'd like to spend my honeymoon with ;-)

For the price we`ve paid there are almost no bad things to say about the hotel. Many people before said that this hotel is very tiny. Our room was very big and nice (clean, 2. floor). But I think we had luck, because there are much tiny rooms and just some big rooms. Unfortunately breakfirt wasn`t that great. There was a real crazy (!!) woman who asked in a bad mood: "Coffee or tea?" and there was just cornflakes and toast to eat (with marmalade and butter, no meat or cheese). You can go by tube (to "Earls Court") and then you have to walk a bit, but I don`t think that it is such a long way to walk (like some people said). Result: like I told before, it is a small hotel but really cheep and so it`s ok because when you are in London, you don`t spend that much there.
