The quality of the hotel was FAR beyond what we anticipated. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel was conveniently located and everything was great except for the housekeeping staff chatting outside our basement room (which was great actually) door at 8:30 each am. That would not have been a problem except for too many fun things in London keeping us up late. Great hotel. We'll go back.

Nice hotel, but the room was too small and too hot, even with heating off

This is an outstanding B&B. I was impressed on how clean and updated all rooms were. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends. The room was spectacular and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered umbrellas on rainy days.

I wanted to stay 3 extra dayes in London before I joined my tour group. I had my previous expirient with VENERe (stayd in florence for 5 days) It was great deal. Not this time. Unfortunatly i have 2 long delaies with my flight from california to London. Due to it I arrived to this hotel around 1 am of my 2-nd night. I was placed in awafull room- very small, no table, no chair, no place for my suitcase. When I tried to tell to the owner that it did not looked as 4star hotel, he said ; "if don't like it, leave my primises or I will call police to force you out". It was around 1 am and am 71 year old woman and I had to "swallow' his rudness and stay in this bad romm. Next day i was given much better room, but on graund floor next to laundry room.

This is a well managed hotel where we had a very nice stay. Clean rooms and public areas. Very accomodating staff. Excellent and generous breakfast. Nicely furnished. An elevator that actually works well. Reasonable prices, by London standards. Excellent nearby restaurants. All and all, a very good experience. We would come back again to his hotel without any hesitation. Venere, you have done it again for us! That is why we keep using this service.

This was the absolute most fantastic hotel I have ever stayed at. The suite we occupied was just perfect. The area surrounding the hotel is quiet, overlooks a park and makes you feel very safe. The staff goes out of it's way to make you feel welcome and the breakfast was very unusual and quite adequate. The furnishings are beautiful and the room almost makes you want to stay inside instead of visiting London.

A nice hotel ideally located for Central London and suited our needs perfectly. The rooms whilst very well done are starting to look a little tired and would benefit from some refurbishment. Service was ok.

The experience was not pleasant because the site advertised what appeared to be fairly spacious double rooms and the room provided was only large enough to accomodate a queen size bed with no chair or desk. There was no room to even store or open a suitcase. Initially, the desk person said the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. Then when I asked to cancel the reservation because of misleading advertising, the manager said I would be charged the cancellation fee unless the owner decided to waive it the following week. Evetually we were shown a slightly larger (but still incredibly small) room (after having been told the hotel was fully booked.

Great hotel, good value for money. Did no know why we were expected to pay on arrival when I know others did not. In addition I don't think I was given the best room as I was using a double for single use. My two sons loved their room especially the DVDTV and stereo, fresh fruit left in rooms was a nice touch! Near Earl's Court and underground. Would stay again.

Friendly service, clean bathrooms, tasty breakfast, great price. Some down-sides (though nothing serious): I thought I was on the top floor, but footstep noises from upstairs were noticeable. TV handsets were not clean and it gave me the impression that other parts of the room was not very clean, but that was an ashame, because important parts (like water area) were clean. It was nice to be woken up by a good smell of freshly baked bread.

20 Nevern Square is an excellent hotel. Great location only 2 minutes walk to Excel Convention centre and Earls Court tube. Spacious rooms by London standards - I have had smaller rooms in big name 5 star hotels in London. Fantastic complimentary cold buffet breakfast served in lovely conservatory style restaurant and complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate/cold drinks available 24/7. All staff were very well presented and very willing and able to assist with any enquiry. This is a really nice hotel that I will definitely stay at again whenever attending a conference at Earls Court. Highly recommended.

My wife & I have just returned after spending five nights @ "Twenty Nevern Square". From checking in to checking out it was totally hassle free. We were allocated a basement room which although on the small side was o.k. The room was tastefully decorated & both it & the bathroom were immaculately clean. Nice touches were the complimentary bottles of water in the room each day plus free tea & coffee through out the day. The continental breakfast was excellent, served in pleasant surroundings by equally pleasant staff. The hotel is situated three minutes walk from the tube station, bars & restaurants. Overall a very trouble free & pleasing experience.

Excellent location for getting around town via Earls Court station on Tube. Noise problem was due to family with small child living in private home above our room. Child would round around until 10 to 11 PM making it difficult to get to sleep. Room had beam protruding from ceiling above bed that was so low that I hit my head several times even though I am a somewhat short person. We did like the hotel enough that we would recommend it to friends and stay there again.

Room was on the small side but I understand most London rooms are small. Size worked out ok. Nicely decorated. Room #10 faced street and was a little noisey at times but not objectionable. Complementary breakfast was good.

This was a wonderful small boutique hotel. Our stay there very much added to the "London-ness" of our trip. In addition to the beautiful and immaculate room, the great neighborhood and the convenience to the Tube, the breakfast was excellent as well.

I had stayed in this hotel two weeks earlier and was very impressed with both the room and the competance of employees. On this occasion I had requested twin rooms and had confirmed that we were to get twin rooms. However when we arrived we were assigned two extremely small double rooms and the person on reception made no effort to change the rooms even though I told him that I had personally confirmed that twin rooms had been assigned to us. In fact he couldn't care less! As we were in a hurry to get to the theatre we did not have time to discuss the matter further and we had to accept the double rooms. When we were checking out the person at reception had changed and I again pointed out that we had been given the wrong room type. He was most apologetic but as we were checking out apologies were too late. This being said the location is excellent only 5 mins walk from Earls Court tube station and I would return even though I was disappointed with the attitude of the first person we met.

The hotel sells itself on comfort and quality - typified by original wooden carvings in every bedroom. Unfortunately, comfort (as in a good night's sleep) is compromised by providing rock-hard mattresses (my wife has back problems and needs a firm mattress, but this is like sleeping on a marble slab); and by someone's bright idea to put the bathroom light and (very noisy) fan on a sensor rather than a switch, so that when the mattress wakes you in the night, the light wakens your partner and the noisy fan stops you getting back to sleep. Also, we had a basement room, and were woken at 1 am by talking and luggage being moved around outside the door - we assumed that a large party had arrived late and were being taken to their rooms. When we opened the door in the morning, we found that all the corridors were piled high with huge laundry bags, leaving only a narrow passageway (too narrow to wheel a case). Waking guests by having clean laundry delivered at 1 am is bad enough, but blocking the corridors is a clear breach of safety regulations.

My sister and I had a twin room which was very nicely decorated. We were originally given a room on the lowest level which was quite noisy (by the staff supply room). We asked to change and were moved within ten minutes. Very quite room after that. It is very nicely situated and we found Earl's Court to be a great place from which to base our trip. The desk staff were very friendly and professional. Having breakfast brought to your room at no charge is a nice touch. Rooms were small but stylish. Excellent experience overall...highly recommend.

The hotel was in an excellant location near the Earl's Court Tube station and the deluxe continental breakfast was a perfect start to a day of exploring London. We would definitely stay at the Twenty Nevern again!

Excellent! Way out of our regular price range, we only stayed one night to treat ourself to a bit of luxury at the end of the vacation, and it was worth it! I guess we were quite different from the people who usually stay at this hotel, but we were met with the same service and respect as the richer and more sophisticated residents. The room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in room 4, which is a four-poster double on the ground floor, next to reception. There seems to be rooms on the basement floor, I would avoid them and I suggest you pay the extra couple of pounds for a room with a four poster bed. I saw a picture of a normal double and it looked tiny in comparison. We were very impressed with the carved wooden furniture in the room and we enjoyed our stay. Price, location and comfort means I will go back. If I have to nit pick, the room only had a shower and they were unable to process our credit card, which does not have chip and pin, without phoning the bank.

I ask them to make me morning call and they accepted, but there was no call. I claimed them about it, they didn't aporlgise me, and said " Why did you set the alarm to use phone?" There was no information how to set alarm using phone in the room. I said that you should prepare it, Finally they said " sorry". The room was excellent ( a little bit small), and the service except that was excellnt!

The Hotel stands on nice location, quiet, near from tube and bus station. The room(double bed for single use) is not wide but enough. But I ould not recommend this hotel to corporate travellers because the room has no desk.
