The Royal Park Hotel is situated in Westbourne Terrace, just north of Hyde Park. It is made up of three Grade II listed houses, carefully restored to their 1840s splendour, forming a fine London townhouse hotel.
Walls are painted in striking Regency hues and are hung with original paintings and fine prints. There are carefully selected antiques throughout the building, hand-embroidered linen fabrics, and a unique 19th-century gasolier graces the reception area.
On arrival the hotel offers guests a complimentary drink, followed by complimentary English afternoon tea and scones, and in the evening, a complimentary glass of Champagne.

I put only 7 points for wellcoming because the day we arrived there wasn't any employee to help with luggage and the steps in the entrance are hard. BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY BAD THING BECAUSE ALL THE REST WAS REALLY WONDERFUL: THE SPACIOUS ROOM, THE EXCELLENT BREAKFAST(included in the price,in our case), THE SURROUNDINGS (near to Paddington Station,in an elegant neighbourhood near to Hyde Park, and also to little italian restaurants or coffes-places where to eat), including the room-service's quality of the meals if you want to pay for it. WE RECOMMEND IT AND WE'D COME BACK.

Great location for the Heathrow Express and Hyde Park. Lovely setting and very attentive staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Great location, great public transport. Reaching the Hotel from Heathrow is easy and comfortable, the Paddington Station is only two minutes walk from the Hotel. Clean, quiet room, the breakfast very good and enough much. The service is very kind and regardful. If we travel to London again, surely we will stay in this hotel.

Unluckly way to hotel from Paddington station was under construction, very difficult to manage heavy luggages. Room is not large, but set up well. Easy to connect Underground, Heathrow express, basically. It will be one of our choice if stay in London.

Expensive, but it is the best hotel we have stayed at in London so far. We got a comfortable, quiet and spacious room, and the staff was very service minded and helpful. With Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations near by, the tube will take you everywhere in central London within few minutes. A minor unpleasantness: Breakfast was included in our booking price, but was nevertheless added separately at the bill when we checked out. We had the booking documents at hand, so this was sorted out very politely and without any discussion, but it is always unpleasant to have to argue about the bill.

Water main construction going on right outside of the Royal Park. Noisy on the street, thankfully our room was on the back side of the hotel and quiet. Staff was not helpful with finding nearby breakfast options and did not tell us about nightly champagne toast in the lobby. Hotel was very close to both Paddington Station (easy train ride from Heathrow) and Lancaster Gate Station. Nice to have Kensington Gardens so close by.

Great service in a lovely hotel. Expensive, but not for London. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The receptionist showed me several rooms to choose from. He also offered to lend me his suit as my luggage had been lost! Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here on our way to Portsmouth and rate it highly. It is exactly as you see on the website. If you want a gym, bar, night club and swimming pool go somewhere else but if you want outstanding service, a beautiful room and an unbeatable location this is one of the best spots in London.

I've stayed at the Royal Park two times now, and every time I go to London, I'll stay there again. The employees are helpful. It would be nice if they had a breakfast room, but having breakfast delivered to the room (as part of the rate) is very nice.

Excellent location, close to 2 tube stations and within easy walking distance of Oxford Street. Staff helpful & friendly, issue regarding breakfast quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Room on the small size but acceptable and probably large for the location. London is expensive and we spent more on this hotel than usual but was definately worth the 'treat' and will check it out again when we return to London.

The Royal Park hotel was a great location for our stay in London. As promised, the location is just a short walk from Paddington rail and tube stations and from Lancaster Gate tube station, However, finding the hotel at night was not easy because of the single tiny sign. The hotel is comfortable and everyone on the staff we met was knowledgeable and helpful. We plan to return.

We chose this hotel because we needed to get from and back to the Airport without switching subways but we still wanted to get as close to the attractions as possible. Hyde Park gave a beautiful, quiet surrounding to this great hotel. Major attractions are very accessible from here by either taking a bus, or the underground. We definitely enjoyed it.

I have used this hotel several times and will continue to use it but I have noticed that sometimes I have been assigned a room that was clearly inferior in quality of services. After a very tiring and full day with several business meetings I have been looking forward to returning to the hotel to get into the comfortable room slippers and robe that are usually provided. During my last stay however the items mentioned were not in the room . I requested the slippers at least ( which they were brought) but for some unknown reason they were taken away the next day (?!?). At that point I was too tired to request again. I realize this is not a major issue but it can make a difference when choosing a hotel.
