The Hotel Reem is in a very good location being close to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations and having a good shopping area and local pubs close by. However the Hotel Reem is old although clean and the rooms are very small with the shower being very hot because of the underfloor heating which made the room hot and sticky to stay in. However the price was O.K. although you would not like to stay too long. Breakfast was adequate. Would recommend staying for short stays.

The triple was a double with an extra bed, not enough room to put the suitcases. The area was very good, with good transport links and near the park.

Second time in this hotel, i can say that is one of the best if you are looking for a place where to sleep in london 1, nearby the bayswater tube station and in a neighborhood full of pubs, restaurant and much other... the price isn't very low, but you won t find any other hotels for less, for this quality

Second stay at Reem hotel. This time we had a room facing the street so a little bit noisy compared to last time, but it was fine. Room was a little bigger and a cot was provided without problem. Staff was extremely welcoming on our arrival and even helped us heat some baby food in the kitchen for our son. Room was clean and maintained every day in an excellent way. The room was on the top floor, but easily reached via the lift. Location is excellent. Only 5 minutes from Bayswater Underground station and a couple more from Queensway station. Portobello market in Notting Hill only 10 minutes away on foot. All in all we were extremely pleased with our stay (as we were the first time) and we will stay again.

Chose hotel on recommendation of reviews similar to this. Also location to transport was important.Price was competitive. Staff were very helpful, especially with choice of room (we requested ground floor), theatre booking, and fixing some small concerns with the room. The room was small and would probably not suit a longer stay. For an overnight stay, it was adequate. We had the continental breakfast which was good value for money.

Quindi se alloggiate lì state molto attenti a tutto!!!

Small rooms, but good breakfast - not included - eggs, fresh fruit, toasts, fruit juices, the, coffee... Only one problem: the last night we were there, someone painted our room's window without telling us anything about it! (smell into the room was terrible)but the hotel offered us breakfast in the morning. They were nice. Hotel is in a great position.

Small rooms and tiny beeds! My brother and I shared a single room with dubbelbed. He, who's 193 cm, slept with half his legs outside the bed, and we faught about space the entire night. Friendly staff, good breakfast! Could be a bit more clean rooms, but didn't expect that out of the price. Good location, 10 minutes walk from Portobello road. 15 minutes to closest tube.

For the required money both the hotel and the surrounding are more than good. The rooms are clear and quiet, the brekfast is enough good. In its vicinities there are some pubs and ethnic restaurant. I think that in London it's difficult to find something better at the same price!

Pulito. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Persino le brioches sono buone! This was the first time I stayed at the Hotel Reem. Even if the room was very small, and the closet was tiny (I couldn't unpack my baggage), I'm satisfied of my staying. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good and abundant, the employees very nice. The location is very good, quiet street, 5 minutes walk to the tube and to restaurants, shops, supermarkets... Actually a little bit difficult to find, we could easily find it thanks to the advices of Manuela Borino on venere.com website. If you decide to go there read them carefully! Summing up, a good hotel in my opinion, I will certainly stay at Reem hotel next time I visit London!

We stay in London for 4 days in this hotel. I recommend you the hotel that's not so far from the Tube. The rooms were clear, exchanging towels every day, the staff were kind, the breakfast were good: in short the most important things. ^^ A good hotel, in relation to the cost of a room. One little negative side is that the rooms were not so soundproofed: sometimes before going to sleep you can hear people, reaching their rooms, walking in the hallway in front of your door. At the end, a very good hotel for people that has not so many askings. ;)

We were in London for shopping purposes. (And sightseeing too, of course). Superb location a short walk from Bayswater station, easy to find by help from the map. Only few minutes walk from Portobello road, where you can find markets and vintage shops. Easy access to central areas of London by bus or tube. Our overall impression of the hotel is good, except from some toilet-flushing problems the staff didn't care to fix. Except from that, the room were clean and ok sized, but a little old fashioned. Good value for the money!

Girate a destra in Ilchester Gardens.

The hotel is located well, near (400 meters) to the Bayswater underground station, to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. In the Queensway street: restaurants, markets, when Indian, Greek, Chinese food, fast-food, variety shops and, of course, fish and chips. Depending of the hour in which it arrives, the service in the reception will be of good one up to the best, it depends on the official. The rooms are not big. So, persons with superior stature it 1,90m or much obese will have been by problems. The breakfast is announced how, system self-service and with good variety of breads and some fruits.

Excellent booking for an expensive town. Great facilities, friendly stuff, nice breakfast. The area is nice and secure. The only "minus" i can find is that the booking for the first night was made for a double bed, while i had asked for a twin. They changed us a room the day after, but the difference between the quality of the two rooms was amazing (the first was worse than the second, where we ended our staying). Though i would stay again if needed since the hotel is nice and well located.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed during a short stay in central London. Clean with courteous staff, and a great breakfast included in the price! However, I cannot agree that this hotel is up to the 3 stars allocated, and, despite the great price for the area, we were slightly disappointed. Compared to a cheaper deal we got in Paris on this web site, the hotel doesn't even begin to compare, even though the cities are similarly priced for accommodation. Downsides: The hotel could definitely use a lick of fresh paint. The rooms were quite small (we had a triple), and the bathroom was absolutely miniscule. For 3 people, it really was quite a squeeze (and yes, I am familiar with small room sizes in old hotels in London). That said, for 2 nights the hotel was adequate and in a fabulous location for exploring London and its sites. I wouldn't have wanted to make it a week long stay at the Reem, despite all its good points. Expect a 2 star and you won't be disappointed.

Don't think of using the map on the Venere site, it is really misleading. Google them, or get a proper map. I was very disappointed with the efforts I had to make in order to get the receptionists to help me with bus/train schedules for the early morning airport train. Due to maintainance work several lines were closed, so it was difficult to plan ahead for a stranger.

We was here for 2 nights only. It was my second time in the same Hotel. For the first time I found it very nice too. It is a little nice hotel. The surrounding is very good. (Notting Hill, Portobello Road Market, U-Station). The breakfast is not only continental, you can eat so much you want. It is recommandable.

Very small room, but considering it's London, it has a good price and it's in a very nice location, very close to Hyde Park and the subway stations. Good breakfast! Would not suggest for long staying, but it's worth a weekend!

It all started that they said that breakfast was not included, I pointed out for them than it said so on the website. and suddenly the breakfast was included... not a very good way to welcome the guests I think, by try to cheat them right away... the room was small and freezing cold and the air very moist. you could hear the next door TV loud and clear. no safety box in the room as stated on the website. the cont breakfast was very good. I will not go back, there are a lot of low-prices hotels in this area that has a better standard!

Cosa ancor peggiore, fanno pagare direttamente all'arrivo!Nel complesso è sufficiente.

We liked our stay at Reem hotel. The people at the reception were very friendly. The breakfast was nice, the room was nice but a little small. There was little space between the end of the bed and the wall. There was a ventilation we could use when is was still warm in the room at night. The hotel is situated in a pleasant area of London. Near the tubestations of Bayswater and Notting Hill Gate. From the hotel we made a nice walk to Kensington Garden, Holland Park, Portobello road and shops on Queensway and Notting Hill. We went to a dance class of salsa on Notting Hill Road and we liked both the dancing and the contact with the people there.

Very close to Bayswater tube stop, plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. In the double rooms, could not walk around the beds; had to walk OVER the bed to get to the window! Layout better in the single room. No A/C, but did provide a fan.

The hotel is near to a small park. In the night everything is quiet. The Bayswater underground station is 5 minutes walk. A big shopping centre is 3 blocks far. It was a nice stay.

The hotel is 4 blocks from Bayswater tube station. Get a good map to find the street because is the road around the square (the other side of the road has another name). The rooms are SMALL, but if you only use them for sleeping that should be no problem. Excellent heating. Rooms in lower floors seem to be more spacious. Floors have a noticeable tilt, so it gives you a feeling of being on board a ship in rough seas (no joke!) There was a minor issue when they said breakfast was not included in the price, but that was solved one day later. Excellent surroundings. Very good base for a tourist stay.
