It was a nice hotel near Hyde Park and underground station. On the website, the station indicated was Bayswater but in fact it was pretty difficult to find the way to the hotel from this station but much more easier from Queensway. The hotel was comfortable but the rooms were too narrow. Especially the bathroom. When we book a three stars hotel we expect more attention to the details. For exemple a TV remote missing, black stains on the walls. But the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was correct. For the price we would have appreciated a free internet access. Only two people with no lugages can stand in one of the lift.

This hotel is a very good choice for a budget traveler. It's clean, it provides English breakfast, it is very close to two underground stations and it has a luggage room for only 1 pound per luggage. The room we had was not at all spacious but for the rate we paid (GBP 52 per night) we couldn't complain.

We definitely don´t recommend this hotel. We had several problems during our stay and none of them where solved by the staff. There was a disturbing noise that didn´t allow us to sleep well; there wasn´t hot water in the shower in the mornings; the walls were made of paper and we heard what happened in the other rooms... We didn´t like this hotel at all.

It was my first time in London and my experiences at the Queens Park Hotel were very good. I used a reformed bedroom number 422 and my wife and I, we adored our stay at the city. We will return and we recommend the hotel for other future costumers.

Our room was 222 when I read some of the comments I was scared but I always like to judge myself. Hotel was good location perfect value for money, only comment I am diabetic I would have loved at least some diabetic jam for breakfast as there is no ham or cheese. Definitly I will be back and recomend it to others

There was noise from the wood of the pavement all night long and from the morning (starting from 6:30 am) coming from somewhere at the upper levels. The reception could not give us an answer-explanation at all and seemed to not be even sorry for that. The staff of the reception looked like a hostel staff...not giving any attentiona at al. The first day towels were dirty. The location is excellent and the room was spaciuos. 85 pound per day (totally 5 days) is not too much for london but i have to think a lot about going there again.

The room was really small; difficoult to move inside. The wooden floor makes noise at every step. The room had mouse-traps in the corners. I did not see any mouse, but....The rooms are very old and looking like not cleaned due to the age. Breakfast just sufficient. The good thing is the position close to sub-way.

The competence of certain employees in this hotel is extremely bad. When entering the hotel I received my key, but the door of my room wouldn't open. It was obvious that this was a problem with the lock, because the LED didn't blink red or green. When going back to the reception desk, the receptionist didn't listen and kept saying that I didn't know how to open the door. I stressed that it's not the key and that I know how to open the door, it's the lock. The janitor was sent with me and had the same problem, but was able to open the door by putting the card in and out of the lock for about half a minute (not the proper way to open the door). Allthough promised, no further action seemed to be taken by the hotel. When returning from an appointment in late evening again the door didn't open and the night receptionst was also unable to open the door. So I got another room for the night and only in the morning a technician could come to open the door so I could get my things. Complaining the next day a at the responsible receptionist didn't help much, he was only seeking excuses. The technician to open the door was also late. The service level of this hotel is in my opinion too bad to mention. And the receptionist is the most irresponsible person I've ever had to deal with. Never again I will stay in this hotel, that's for sure.

I've been in the hotel for three nights none of them i couldn't sleep a wink. The thing was the guests from the hostel in the front road were disturbing and yelling and laughing so i couln't get some sleep neither my neighbour from upstais wich was really annoying as well. Apart from that everithing was fine according to the price. The recepcionist in the morning shift (the blond one) was really nice and helpfull.

The hotel meets its expectations for such a small price in such a great location. However the shower was very bad - not enough water and half cold. Unfortunately, shower and bed are the only 2 musts for me, so I won't go there again.

This was the first time my friend and I had stayed at the Queens Park Hotel. We will certainly go there again if we are in need of a place to stay in London. When we arrived the check-in was dealt with efficiently and in a welcoming manner. The room we were allocated was in the basement and at first I was somewhat concerned about this as I assumed it would be small and dark. I was wrong: the bedroom was of a reasonable size but we also had a vetibule and a large bathroom. All the rooms were spotlessly clean. I cannot comment on the other rooms but I was more than happy with mine considering the price I paid (40GBP for a twin room) which is almost unheard of for a London hotel.

The location suited me as I know the area. I would have liked air conditioning but for the price I was satisfied as I was on my own. The hostel across the road was noisy at nights. Young people talking and laughing till very late.I would go there again but would request an air conditioned room(if available).

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, vivamente consigliato!

Throughout the duration of our stay, every member of staff we encountered failed to say one word to us. Even upon check in, the lady did not speak at all. I expected to be greated with a smile. This was not just poor customer service, it was also plain rudeness. Our room was unclean and we had ants in the bathroom. We did change rooms which was a suprisingly easy process. However, I was then unimpressed to find that our new room had an open door onto the street instead of a window, with a mere chain for 'safety'. I could have easily broken the chain. It was a humid night but we closed the door as we felt very unsafe in the room. My stay at the Queens Park Hotel was an overall, unpleasurable stay. I work in the travel industry and will make sure that my colleagues know not to stay with you.

First 2 nights in a basment room, then upgraded to second floor. Rooms were not ready before 5.00pm. Other hotels which I booked through you were always ready by 2.00pm or 2.30pm. Another complaint is we had to pay 1stg for each luggage for keeping them for us for some hours after checking out, after staying there for 7 nights (3 persons).

We had a little difficulty finding the hotel as the map wasn't quite accurate. The staff looked glum and were not very welcoming, so improvements to customer service could be made. The room itself was quite adequate and the location was great, especially being so close to Kensington Gardens and good transport links. The hotel was as expected for the price. Fine for a night or two for people on a budget.

Room 106 is missing a curtain panel, leaving our room exposed to the buildings across the street. We mentioned this to hotel staff & nothing was noted or done about it in the 3 days we were there. We had to use a bedspread to help stretch the one curtain panel across the window enough to have some privacy. The LEAST a hotel can supply is enough curtains to cover the window. The room also came with ants & no apparent effort to capture them. For the price the room was otherwise as expected, typical small room in an aged building. The free breakfast is filling, but contains no protein except milk. They really should buy a new toaster, since one was not working at all & the other one only 1/2 worked. Our bathroom walls must not have ever been scrubbed clean, as grout from the tile installation was still all over the walls but came off easily if dampened & wiped. DO NOT ask the front desk to call you a cab!! They suggested a non-Black Cab (claiming Black Cabs were a ripoff) who then charged us 2x as much for the exact same distance Black Cab charged us. Not sure we'd stay here again.

I travel a lot every year and have never been met with so rotten treatment as at the Hotel Queens Park in London. And the standard was far away from my expectation. First night we was placed in a room beside the reception. Dirty, noisy, cold, uncomfortable beds and not working toilett and shower. And the staff had questions why we would like to change room. They also charge my credeit card without my knowing - we had been told that we should pay the bill when we checked out.

A three star-hotel in London can, in my experience, not be compared with three star-hotels in other big cities. We stayed, through Venere, in a lovely 3 star-hotel in Bologna and a very nice 2 star-hotel in Hamburg, both less expensive than this less than satisfactory hotel in London. They first tried to give us a twin room that was definitely shabby. When we complained, we got a more adequate one. The service at breakfast was very poor, it was self-service, but half the time they were out of tea or milk and waiting times were long. The rooms on the floor where the single room was located was being redone, so there was noise, and it wasn't accessible by the (very tiny) lifts and I had to use a very dirty service staircase to get from the 4th to the 5th floor.

Room was awfully small. Stains on wall and bed sheets and carpet was dirty. Toilet seat was a pretty bad shape. Other residents seem to be having a door-banging session at 7.30am in the morning. Only good thing about this place is the location. Near to Bayswater/Queensway tube station. However, for the same price, you can defintely stay somewhere nicer.

Our room was in the basement next to the lift. Although noise from lift, squeaky floorboards above and din of underground trains below which cannot be helped as we are in the centre of London, we did sleep well, and the room was very spacious and clean. New furniture, plasma TV, new bathroom fittings. Added bonus of sufficent contiental breakfast, hotel only a few minutes from tube station. What more could you want for the price!! Recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend a few days in London.

This was our first stay at Queens Park, the price was OK and also the location, but ... The concierge asked us to pay him for storing our luggage for a couple of hours after we had checked ut, that we never have met before. The cleaning women entered our room without knocking on the door first. In generall the staff was very nonchalant and not service minded. We had no electricity, no telephone for several hours , which ment, for example, cold water in the bathroom. We understood that it was not their fault, but they could at least have said that they were sorry.

It was great value for the money we spent. Staff were generally very helpful. The first room we got had a really strong cigarette smell. When we told the reception, the lady politely let us check another room to change. The second room was smaller but alright, only missing the bathtub in the first room. Both bathrooms were bright and clean. My wife enjoyed the hot water in particular. Would have been better if Queensway tube station wasn't closed. Taking the bus would be more convenient.

Was very disappointed,we were given a twin room instead of a double.the room was filthy and so small.the wallpaper was coming off the wall and there were damp marks in the very tiny bathroom.the beds were not clean.the pictures on the site were nothing like the room we were given.the room was dingy and it was similar to servants quarters!!!

Queens Park Hotel is a very good alternative for leasure travellers (long weekend) in London. Rooms are London-typical small but the hotel is perfectly located at Hyde Park. Prices are much lower at venere!!!

The staff were ignorant upon arrival, the room was barely big enough for 2 of us and an alarm went off for no reason in the room at 07:30, the maid was knocking on the door at 08:15 to clean the room. Breakfast was uninspiring with little choice or quality. Overall a poor hotel with poor staff and facilities. We would not recommend this place to anybody we wanted to stay friends with.
