Our room was large, modern, clean and quiet. We were going on the eurostar the next day so the location was perfect for that but also being right next to the tube, central London was only minutes away too. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

We had a good 5 nights stay at megaro. Room was clean, good sized and quiet ( i asked for a quiet room). However, the silence does get punctured occasionally by passing emergency vehicles, so would depend on your luck how frequently they pass by nightly....range of zero to maybe 2 or 3. Location was extremely convenient for both Underground and Eurostar. We especially appreciated the free internet access via the large flat screen TV within the room. Staff were professional and helpful (in general half were very smiley and approachable, the other half may have been tired but were still professional). All in Megaro exceeded our expectations, and we would stay here again if/when we return to London.

Great location! Couldn't have been more convenient to St. Pancras Station. Nice big clean new rooms. Staff rather unfriendly. Food good. Service ok. Would definitely stay there again.

Although the directions given were correct we found it difficult to identify the hotel on a wet night. The name on the hotel is not easily seen, although we were a little hassled after a two hour delay on a train in France which meant we missed our Eurostar connection - we were relieved to be able to be given a seat on the later train which meant our arrival was not until 9.30pm

The location is super, just opposite Kings Cross but very noisy because next to traffic lights. Although there is secondary double glazing, the top of the external old sash window (room 204)was not fully closed and that seemed to let in some noise. Beds very comfortable, room very well equipped.

The restuarant seemed to be undergoing refurbishment( lots of hammering noise). We had a poor evening meal in bar cafe, food was lukewarm. The Hotel would have done better to suspend catering until such time as they were completely equipped with their upgraded restuarant. Notwithstanding, the hotel was very comfortable. On a separate note, food is way overpriced in London and probably the worst value in Europe.

I traveled to London with 4 friends and we booked a triple and a double. Our triple was spacious and confortable on the last floor. The double room was clean and confortable. Excellent position. Complimentary coffee, tea and water in the room. Really happy for the choice.

Next to Kings Cross and the possibility to reach quickly (which is most important)several locations by the Tube which are interesting. We were at the 3rd floor, where the noise of the street is not too bad. Bathroom and facilities are ok.

On check in I was told I had already checked in some hours earlier. It turned out reception had previously checked the wrong person into my room. The restaurant was noisy and garish with floor to ceiling screens showing Sky News - hardly suitable for a relaxing evening meal. Overnight I got little sleep due to the traffic noise and sirens of emergency vehicles on Euston Road. In the morning we were told there were no staff available so there would be no breakfast. The many glowing reviews of this property I have seen online bear no resemblance to the hopeless experience we received here. I do not plan to return.

There were 3 of us and we enjoyed our stay at Megaro. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was nice, clean and spacious as well. The only negative thing that we could think of was the shower. There is only half a door in the shower and everything you take a shower, the whole bathroom got very wet. Couldn't figure the logic of it. The staff were friendly, polite and answered all our questions very well. Overall, had a wonderful stay at Megaro and we would recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

I found this hotel rather convenient for the standard in London. Excellent location just in front of Kings Cross/St Pancras. Friendly staff. I firmly recommend this hotel particularly to those travelling by train from/to the north of England and/or from/to Luton airport. Breakfast not included rather expensive.

I stayed at Hotel Megaro on a weekend trip to London from Paris and enjoyed it tremendously. I was travelling alone and it suited my needs perfectly. The only complaints that I had were that the coffee pot in my room was not working and the staff in the restaurant seemed disorganized and overworked. The waitress made a mistake with my breakfast order, tried to give me something that I did not want to compensate me, and insisted that there were two people staying in my room because "her list said so", in spite of the fact that I was alone. Other than that, it was a PERFECT location for a traveller unfamiliar with this great city and I would definitely stay there again.

Someone used the bathroom and did not flush the water. The TV didn't work (even after we called the service) nor did the wi-fi access in the room (worked near the reception). The elevator went out of service just when we arrived at the hotel (later it was functioning again). The breakfast was really expensive and the quality wasn't hight. The room was nice and the hotel just in front of the underground station, but there were too much problems. Won't come here again.

We booked a family room and were given an executive quad which was nice and more spacious than I expected with 2 extra beds in it. The room had a good view over the Euston road. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were polite and accommodating though the public spaces were small and didn't make you want to stay long there. We tried breakfast twice and it could have been better as the croissants were served cold, but it wasn't included in the price so on other days we ate breakfast elsewhere.

We stayed in a triple room and it was the biggest room I've ever stayed in London and had a nice view. There were a plasma TV and internet in the room, quite hard things to find at such a reasonable price. And having a minibar in the room was useful, too. The bathroom was quite big, as well, and very clean. The hotel is just across the King Cross's tube station which make it very easy to go anywhere in London, especially from and to Heathrow Airport. I'd definitely go and stay there again if they keep the prices at such good rate.

We had a room for three, and it was good enough for a short stay (practical and clean). Though the environment is quite noisy (I wouldn't sleep there with a window open), the room was quiet (soundproof) You can go and visit the national library, which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is interesting. A lot of transports facilities nearby.

We were given a room which looked over a courtyard so it was very quiet (the hotel is on Euston Road, a very busy road !). Very clean room and spacious bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. You need to ask the staff for the code to be able to use the free Wi-fi. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel at 11a.m. and check-in later on which was very helpful. The hotel is very well located as it is just across the road from St. Pancras and Kings Cross railway and tube stations.

Good value for the money. Excellent location right on front of tube station. Distant but competent staff. Didn't try the breakfast as it was not included on the rate (this is clear since booking). The provided coffee machine on the room is a very nice addition.

Traveling with my husband and three teenagers, we needed two rooms. Unfortunately, my kids had a room on the third floor and my husband and I were placed on the sixth floor. The rooms were spacious and comfortable (although we found the lack of doors on the showers awkward). The location was a bit noisy even late at night, however it was extremely convenient to both the underground and the train station. We took the Eurostar to Paris and literally walked across the street to hop on the train. We found the staff friendly but not highly organized. We arrived at the hotel before check-in time and were informed that our rooms were not yet ready, however the staff checked our bags so we could start exploring the city. When we returned at 2pm, our rooms still were not ready so we sat in the lobby for 30-35 minutes while our rooms were finished and our bags were retrieved. It wouldn't have been a big deal if we hadn't been so travel weary, but I felt the staff could have offered us a drink or something while we waited. Overall, we thought the hotel was fine, but would probably choose to stay somewhere a little quieter next time we visit London.

I was upgraded on arrival to a spacious room with a double bed and double sofa bed, it had flat screen TVs in each bedroom area and workstation, and a spacious bathroom with shower / loo/ basin. Everything was new and spotless. The style is budget boutique, and it is a budget hotel so don't expect Egyptian linen and Molton Brown handwash, but everything is nicely turned out and kept in good order. Breakfast wasn't included and was £7.50 for a continental choice or about £13.50 for that plus hot breakfast. Not clear on the room menu but priced in the restaurant itself were individual hot items to buy. The location is superb, directly on the Euston Road exit to Kings Cross, so getting to and from the hotel by bus, train and tube is easy, including after a late night out. They also have a free luggage room to use once you've checked out before you leave London. Paying less than half the rack rate for a room via hotel booking sites, I would certainly stay here again.

Mention that the tube stop is King's Crossing opposite the hotel (& extremely convenient). For regional & inter country rail this location is excellent. Its price is reasonable for London. Needs directions for the shower though:).

Outstanding location & not too bad of a price for London. Whoever designed the bathrooms with wood right next to water, sinks & showers, should be horse whipped. Its molding and warping. A very nice, sophisticated hotel style on the whole. Would suggest an instruction sheet for the amenities especially the bath/shower. This is a great hotel for anyone using the Eurostar or regional English trains. Very nice stay. Worth noting that the nearest metro is King's Crossing, not Euston. Nice location near many restaurants and many toutist sites. Hotel restaurant does not do weekday lunch anymore. Liked the free milk & the super location. I would gladly stay there again.

Very convenient location across the street from both St. Pancras and King's Cross. It is easy to get to from Heathrow via Paddington and King's Cross. It is quiet considering the busy part of town. All of the tourist hot spots are easily accessed via the Circle Line at King's Cross. We stayed one night between flying in and taking the train to Edinburgh and would happily stay there again.

Overall, it was reasonable stay. Staff were nice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Hotel location was excellent. Just a few steps to Kings Cross tube station. Although the room was clean, the towels provided in the shower room was quite smelly... Shower was blocked on the first day and the floor was flooding. We asked hotel to fix it.

I really liked the hotel, I hadn't been in London before, but as for what I had seen on the web, this must be one of the best hotels in quality/price. I only had the problem that the internet through the TV, which is a very good service, didn't work in the first room, so then they let us move to a biggest room where the internet did work fine. I would come back to this hotel.

Came to London for the weekend with my two daughters. We had a room for three. Very impressed with the room. Clean, modern and the bedding and pillows were so comfortable we all overslept! The hotel room was also very quiet, we couldn't hear any noise from outside even though we were on a busy street. So convenient for Kings Cross etc stations. Speed of check in/out was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Very convienient location though a little difficult to find in the beginning due to small hotel signs (actually just at the exit of the subway and next to the Burger King). Across the street location to international train station for Eurostar and to tube station right outside front door direct to/from Heathrow Airport. Back room quiet. Front room street noise. Reception desk folks helpful, especially with printing out flight boarding passes. Bathrooms need some maintenance for doors otherwise fine. Very high tub side to enter/exit tub. Minor issue: shower glass not wide enough for shower not to splash on floor.

We liked this Hotel very much. The price was very good but we don't know if it is always this price. We arrived there very late and the staff was always very welcoming. The room was big, clean and modern. With a "big" TV and very confortable bed. The bathroon was also very good, it was new and clean. The area around it is not very good but it exactly in front of King's Cross station that is a big subway station with connections to everywhere. I recommend this hotel.
