1. The price for the use of the hotel's computers is absurdly expensive. Go down Earl's Court Road to a commercial internet cafe. It's cheaper. 2. Request a room that is not in the basement as mine was. My room had little light and one window that opened onto a service area behind the hotel; therefore it could not be safely left open at night or when i was not in the room. 3. The focus of the hotel seems to be on "how much money can I make" with little attention to genuine concern for the guest. That left me with a not-so-pleasant impression. 4. The location is excellent. Great access to the tube. 5. The breakfast room staff were excellent. Cleaning personnel less so.

We stayed two nights, for a long weekend, and for this it was perfect. If staying in London for a week it might be cramped with a big suitcase. Location was excellent, a 5 minute walk from the Earls Court Tube with food options available close by. Breakfast was simple but there was plenty of food - orange and apple juice, good coffee, cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs. Walls were a little thing but that was no problem as we had quiet neighbors. Bed was comfortable. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Just come back from London. Our stay has been so great thanks to our hotel too.Incredibly close to Earl's Court Tube Station, well surrounded by every type of shops. The staff is very kind and polite. We loved London Town Hotel and we'll certainly come back again.

We had stood in london for 4 nights (5 days). The hotel is very close to Earls Court's metro station (district line) from wich you can easily travel from/to Victoria Station and from wich you can reach Westminster, the London Tower and many other interesting areas without changing the line: in other words, if you arrive in London fro Gatwik, you can't chose a better place than Earls Court to stay in. You stay in London man, so the bath is very small and the room is small, but you have only to sleep there, right? The breakfast is abundant but not very variegate (yougurt, milk, cornflakes, apples, orange juice, cheese, boiled eggs, toasted bread, tea and coffe at buffet). The staff is very kindly. We recomeend this place.

I had been to the London Town hotel on a previous occasion so knew what to expect. The hotel rooms are not big, but they are clean. There's a great shower with plenty of hot water and the room was cleaned as it should be every day. Staff is friendly and competent. Minor complaint is that the breakfast could be more varied. Overall, taking into account price/quality (I paid £60/night for a single which had a double bed) and location (Earl's court tube around the corner, plenty of restaurants) it's a definite recommendation.

Good quiet hotel(and area). Price could be lower compared to the distance to travel to centre. The internet PC in public room was out of order (and looked like it hade been for a while). Since this is not business hotell such service must work. LS

-Good was the free wifi and the nice location and the fact that it is near the tube station. -Bad was the toilette (flooding water when using the toilette!), the bed made of very bad material, the breakfast (no English served), and the space of the room and toilette, so small that even my kids had trouble to move around!!!

I stayed in this hotel for a brief time but it was worth paying the amount indicated...staffs were welcoming and very quick listening... the surrounding was quiet and spent a great time there... next time will be soon and no doubt i will be back on the same hotel... cheers folks!!

The location of London Town was a very short distance from the Earl's Court station, which was very handy for getting around the city. For the price, this was good, but there were a lot of things that needed improvement. The hotel staff didn't help me with my bags at all when I arrived, which was a little frustrating. There was a bed bug, which bit by arms, hands and face before I found and killed it. (I've only heard of infestations, but only found evidence of one bug...) The staff tried to help me find different destinations on the map, but one more than one occasion they gave me completely wrong directions. Breakfast ends at 9, which seems a little early to me. The cleaning staff tried repeatedly to clean my room while I was sleeping, despite my informing them I didn't want maid service. The doors are extremely hard not to slam and thus it can be difficult to sleep through. There is construction going on across the street and this starts very early. Also, the internet is only available in the lobby, which isn't open 24 hours.

The room was clean and the location is convenient with a metro station, supermarkets and restaurants close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small and sound-proofing is necessary, but overall, I had a good stay for this price in London.

Charmant petit hôtel dans une jolie rue. Personnel souriant, accueillant, disponible.

The location of the hotel is great. next door to Earl's Court Station along Piccadilly Line. It was fuss free to hop on the underground tube to Earl's Court and walk to the next street where the hotel is located. There are many eateries and convenience shops in the area and so finding food is not a problem. The proximity of the tube near the hotel make travelling around london easy. Breakfast is provided which was a kind surprise. Cornflakes, coffee, toasts & jam, eggs and yoghurt were sufficient for me to start the day. All these at the price of 45pounds a night.( I booked a single room.) my room 9303) faced the street and so quietness was forfeited. I enjoy the lounge where there's a coffee/tea facility as well as internet access at 1 pound per 30 minutes. I paid another pound to deposit my lugguage at the counter after i checked out in the morning. All in all, this is a worthwhile and sufficient choice, practical and reasonable priced property.

Based on the reviews of the London Town Hotel, we got exactly what we were expecting. Room 302 in the back was quiet and clean but hot and the walls were thin. Well located, near the underground station and some restaurants. Breakfast was basic.

Room 505...strange and random noise sometimes during night and day, 2 or 3 minutes, but impossibible to sleep during these minutes. :-( Very close to 2 tube stations and many shops, pubs and international restaurants. Breakfast? The poorest I've ever seen in a 3 stars hotel...better in many B&B!

Nice converted old town house in good neighbourhood. Convenient 3 Min. walk to Earl´s Court underground station. Continental breakfast ok, rooms London-typically small, but clean (which was my most important point and this was satisfied). A little restoration work is needed, but overall it was excellent value for money in a very central location with a number of good restaurants around. If you went to London for a shopping/Sightsseing trip and you´d only need to spend the night in your hotel, this would be a perfect choice!

I was staying just for 2 days. The price is high as I compare to the hotel prices in my country. But everything is more or less OK, just there could be a little bit more space in the room and mirror in the room near the plug in or at least plug in near the mirror in the bathroom. But the location of the hotel is excellent. Personel is also friendly and willing to help.

Based on the reviews of the London Town Hotel, I got exactly what I was expecting. The room was tiny, but it was clean and it provided exactly what I needed. Considering that I was out in the city all day and only needed the room to sleep and shower, this hotel served it's purpose. The hotel's nearby location to the Earl's Court station was excellent and only takes less than 5 minutes to walk to. From there you have access to any of the major attractions in London via the Underground. Pluses include: -Your own bathroom/shower in the room (not always an option for a "bargain price.") -No curfew -Desk person available 24 hours a day -Location near the tube Minuses: -The room is extremely small. If you can get over this fact, you will be fine. -Have to leave your key at the front desk every time you leave (not always bad). -Small room gets hot fast.

I don't believe I have ever stayed in such a small, cramped room. There was barely room to put my suitcase down. I banged my head on the wall-mounted television stand getting out of bed. The breakfast coffee machine was not working properly and served cold coffee - the non-English speaking stafff remedied this quickly, but it meant some delay. Poor value for money and definitely not recommended.

The room was more or less what we expected from the website and reviews, and we were satisfied. There were tea making facilities available late at night in the common room, which was useful. However, even though there was Wi-Fi available, the staff member on duty at night had no idea how we could access it.

Nice hotel in good neighborhood. Close to tube station, restaurants and shopping. Our room had one double bed and two singles. Since there was three of us, the room size was more than sufficient. Four people may find it a little tight. The bathroom was clean but small. Hotel was located on quiet side street so street noise was not a problem. Although noise, talking, and closings of doors could be easily heard from the hallways. Breakfast was basic, cereal, toast, boiled eggs and milk, juice, coffee and tea. I would definately recommend this hotel as a good budget hotel and I would stay there again.

Clean and well-lit adequate room with tiny bathroom. Short walk to tube station. Breakfast was uninspiring, but at least they had one. Would stay there again. Although Earl's Court is not at the heart of London, at least there are two tube lines, so when one has delayed service (not uncommon in London!) the other can be used.

This hotel was a perfect location for us arriving fom Heathrow and staying in London for a few days holiday. It is easily found about 2 mins walk from Earls Court station and a direct ride form the airport on the Piccadilly line. We found our room, although quite small, very clean, comfortable and quiet. We especially liked being able to sleep with the windows open and not be bothered by noisy traffic. Good breakfasts. Pleasant staff.

Was in room 303 (1st floor), paid 68 pounds/night through venere.com. I think this hotel is way overrated and overpriced. The room was small and crampy, and in the bath I found just a small envelope of shampoo and one bar of soap. The room was very noisy, as it faced the street and the windows have only one glass-pane; one could hear cars passing by, people talking loudly, etc. Also the heating system was producing "clicking" noise throughout the night. I had to sleep with ear-plugs. The room floor was uneven, and the TV only showed 4-5 channels. Breakfast was a disappointment, as apparently only continental breakfast was served (from 7.30 to 9.00). There is a computer in the (nice) lounge, but the connection to Internet has an outrageous rate of 0.09 pound/minute. My overall rating of the hotel is quite low: as a matter of fact, the two hotels in London I has stayed before (Regent House and Dalmacia) were significantly cheaper and much better. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was our first trip to London and after reading reviews on Venere decided to to go for the London Town Hotel. We knew the rooms would be small but we were only going to be using it as somewhere to sleep and shower. Rooms were clean apart from some marks on the wall. Location was perfect, just a 2 minute walk from the tube station.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in late Sept. Good: Proximity to Earl's Court tube was super--easy 10 minute walk through nice neighborhood and station has a lift. There are at least a dozen restaurants within two blocks on Earl's Court Road, and an equal number of currency exchange shops. They offered free wireless broadband, but it didn't reach our 4th floor room. It worked fine in the lounge, though and the lounge was nice with coffee/tea service. Bad: street noise, people out talking on the curb till 3 AM one night; good service at continental breakfast but boring variety of food; had some problems getting flaky toilet to work; our top floor room was a little hot when it was 70 F. outside...can't imagine what it would be like in the summer. All things considered, though, it was a great deal at under £80.

This is a very nice hotel in an ideal location for travel by public transport (Earls Court Station is just steps away.) I found everything to be satisfactory. The only thing I found odd was that the hotel charged me 5 pounds to hold my bag for a few hours after I had checked out until I left for the airport. This seems excessive.
