La Reserve is situated is very good location in fullham braodway which is 2 minutes walk from Fullham broadway station and few stations away from Victoria and Wimbledon park. Hotel facilities and break fast was good and the staff were too good. Bed clothing may be improved and it met our requirements

Das Hotel ist ziemlich alt und renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück ist miserabel, die extra bestellten Speisen wie English breakfast sind fade und schmecken nach nichts.

Unbelievable bad hotel; noisy to a point where you hear your room neighbors phone when put on still while hearing every step anybody does from above or below or from neighboring room. Service at the front desk completely incompetent (send us to Wimbledon courts while the whole facility was closed because of the Olympics, despite inquiring about this fact before). Toilets and shower did not work properly or only at times. Cleanliness of the hotel unbelievable bad, the breakfast a nightmare (tea was missing for a full week, coffee not drinkable). All in all the worst experience of a hotel I ever had; the only place in the world you can ask this amount of money for such a room in such a hotel would be London I guess!

La Reserve was a bit 'tired' looking. The room was clean, but shabby. There were no tea bags on the first night and no milk on the second. The curtains were difficult to close and grubby looking. The taps for the bath did not work and the shower only lasted a few minutes. It was hot though. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. There was a good selection of cereals, tinned fruit and cold croissants. Hotel had very noisy guests who disturbed us trying to get into our room by mistake. All in all, not bad for the money, but way off top class. Probably wouldn't stay there again I'm afraid.

Good position to go downtown, underground very closed, Chelsea stadium at 50 metres. Old building, needs to be restored but acceptable. Rooms looking at the Fulham Rd. not very quiet. I was travelling with 2 friends and 4 teenagers.

Polite staff: Room clean;towels good and clean: bed/pillows clean and comfortable:furniture rotting!: very rusty shower curtain rail;extremely creaky floors - ours, room above, and on either side; you could hear noise from surrounding rooms:Requested and supposedly given a quiet room other than they rented out the restaurant below room for a rowdy kids party which on complaining was told it would be for only 2 hours but went on from about 3.30 to 8pm! Plus was unable to use restaurant for my evening meal because of party! Blanket on bed was itchy;bites on legs/feet + found a bedbug (?) on the sheets!Breakfast:bread/buns stale.

Considering the crazy prices in London at present and the poor quality offered by other hotels in this price bracket, I was very pleased with this hotel. Plus points: - small and cosy but pleasant bar - generally well furnished - decent room size and reasonably fitted bathroom/bedroom furniture - consistently friendly staff - very close (coupld of minutes walk) to metro station with a few restaurants around, even if not a luxury neighbourhood - reasonable priced wi-fi (£5), although really would it have killed them to just make it included in the room price...? - fruit in the room was a nice touch when I arrived The only slightly negative point really was that in the morning I got consecutively pestered by housekeeping knocking on the door (despite "do not disturb" sign) followed by a phone call from reception for no apparent reason when I really just wanted to have a lie in before a long flight I was about to catch. I also got caught out by the 10:30 breakfast curfew (as I say, I wanted a lie in!) but there is a Starbucks round the corner for this kind of emergency. All in all, I would stay here again if the price remains similar.

My partner and I stayed 1 night as we had separate Christmas parties on the same night. It would have been useful to have 2 room keys as I arrived at the hotel at midnight and then had to stay up another hour for my partner! Location wise it was perfect for us both and although it was not quiet I put that down to it being Christmas and people enjoying themselves!

No room key when we arrived (lost, apparently). Tea making facilities included dirty, chipped cups. Water temperature no good for showering. Mini bar contained half-used bottles. Room in need of a facelift. No smiling faces or enquiry as to whether we enjoyed our stay - we didn't!

lots of problems. first, i was late, and they gave my room away and put me up somewhere else for a night. they didn't offer to compensate me for this inconvenience. second, i'd been promised a king-size bed and instead i got two tiny beds stuck together. the mattress was so hard i had to sleep on the bedspread and comforter. there were no tissues in the room. the night lights didn't work. the first day the maid never made up the room. there was no iron in the room, though that had been promised. the shampoo and soap provided smelled terrible. when i first entered the room, it had been terribly overheated and i had to turn the radiators off for the rest of my stay. i have never before had a bad experience at a london hotel. i will definitely not stay at a venere hotel again. - yuval taylor

My room faced onto a busy main road. Even with the window closed, it was quite noisy. Other than that, everything was excellent and at a good price too.
