Hotel Holiday Villa London - London

The hotel in general was nice. The price though for what it was itself, was too high. The room was quite small , but clean.The bathroom was spacious but the floor was a slope which made me a bit dizzy. The breakfast was really poor but well...

Very basic, but clean enough and in very convenient location

The room was little and we were not allowed to open the windows!!! and the weather in july was really hot. there was only a little old fan to make the air in the room breathable.

There is no free wifi in the hotel. The only Wifi is of tmobile and it's very expensive (7 GBP / hour). The breakfast is nice but very simple. If you want to have also eggs, you need to pay 3 GBP for a portion (defiantly, one of the most expensive eggs you'll ever have). I must say that the comments of the previous guests are not aligning with the reality. The hotel is well situated, the rooms are modest, clean and nice. The location is great (5 mins from the closest underground, 1 min from bus stop). There is NO AIR CONDITION in the hotel (air condition is not popular in all London) - that can be a problem while traveling during hot weeks (as we did - It was sooooo HOT). Bottom line: I would have sleep there again.

Pleasant hotel, good location, room small but comfortable. Would certainly consider going back.

Hotel molto gradevole...ottima la posizione..a pochi passi dalla metropolitana e in una zona molto tranquilla di londra...la colazione era un po' scarsa ma nel complesso un 8+ come valutazione

Very noisy in night time due to "a private club" in the basement below the room. Awful karaoke during the nights. Later sorted out by a professional lady during daytime. (probably the reception manager.)

Great location, close to Notting Hill and the beautiful Hide Park and few blocks from Bayswater station (3 min walk). The hotel is ok and the breakfast buffet not abundant but enough.

The room was ok, quiet and it is near hyde park. Just remeber terrace and road are the same thing. The breakfast was pretty good had lots of options but I think it was too much for the room and service. The friendliness of the staff was quite poor except on the last day that my girlfriend and I left we were greeted with a gracious concerige who knew everything about London and was quite accomodating. We just left wondering where he was all weekend.

Disappointed with disable facilies ,there was no ramps for entry into hotel also there was only one lift which was rather small in relation to size of hotel.I feel that there should have been more lifts and that they have been larger.

The smell of the kitchen in the hall was unbearable. This has ruined the stay,to the fault of the smell, I never made breakfast

Good hotel and location. Just 10 min to Picadilly and closed to portobello road. Enough space in the room for two person. Temperatute inside high.

Very good hotel, nice stay there, close to the tube and buses. This was my twice to Holiday Villa London and I will back next stay to London.

For the second time, GREAT!

Buen hotel en relacion precio calidad. buena atencion del staff y espaciosas habitaciones para lo que es UK. ( 2 en nuestro caso ) como el sistema de Venere NO permite en la misma reserva 2 habitaciones con cama matrimonial y con cama doble , una vez instalados no tuvimos problemas en cambiar,lo unico objetable fue que el desayuno no era gran cosa. la ubicacion es buena, muy tranquila y segura, los hoteles estan uno al lado del otro, cercana a Paddingthon y a 3 cuadras del undregrund. lo que permite autonomìa de movimientos.

This is a good hotel for a young couple as we are, very very small rooms, poor breakfast...but it's enough to come and just sleep there. They refused to accept my American express.

La camera era veramente spaziosa e confortevole. colazione a buffet ottima e abbondante ,considerando i livelli medi di londra .la zona e' veramente perfetta,servita dalla circle e piena di ristorantini.

If i will return to London I will go in this hotel! Really cool, really beautiful! Everything was ok!

El hotel esta situado en una zona excelente, con mucho ambiente, un centro comercial muy completo y tres lineas de metro que te llevan a todas partes a cinco minutos. La relacion calidad precio del hotel es muy buena. Yo me esperaba un hotel mucho peor pero la verdad es que cuando entré en la habitacion me sorprendió gratamente. LA habitacion ha estado durante los cuatro dias muy aseada. ADemas era bastante espaciosa, y tenia servicio de mesas, sillas etc para poder dejar cosas. El mobiliario es un poco antiguo pero da igual porte estaba muy limpio. El baño tambien resultó ser mas grande de lo esperado y todos los dias nos cambiaban las toallas y lo dejaban muy limpio. No es que fuera de diseño ni mucho menos pero estaba muy bien. En cuanto al buffet, no hay mucho que decir, ya que era bastante escaso, lo que pasa es que para los que desayunamos poco pues era suficiente: tostadas, algo de bolleria, mermeladas, algo de cereales, cafe.. En general me he llevado buena sensacion de este hotel y no me ha parecdio caro. Si volviera a londres con las mismas condicioens puede ser que repitiera.

Employees could hardly speak english. Our rooms were doublebooked and we had to chance rooms without compensation.Waterpressure on the rooms upstairs was not ok, showering was difficult and water chanced from cold to hot all the time. Luggages were delivered to wrong new rooms during room chance.

The hotel is in an excellent location, near Hyde Park. The breakfast was a bit poor, and our room was in a lowest floor /down the street). For the London prices it was good and clean (very important).

Nice hotel accomodation very clean, room, public areas excellent poosition at Bayswater, good continental breakfast I think I'll be back in this hotel in my next trip to London.

Disappointed doesn't begin to say it. Where to begin . . . room tiny, even by European standards; desk personnel we met were haughty and uncooperative; breakfast meager; room absolutely stifling - we did get a fan and kept the window open; open window desplayed filthy window sill and curtains. I am not a difficult traveller but this was enough to even make me unhappy. On the up side, a nice friendly little pub down the street and close proximity to two Underground stations.

I will come back

Hotel is ok, clean, nice and good price compared to others london's hotel. people very friendly.

Unfortunately, room was still not ready to check in at 3pm. Welcoming below average, furthermore, room was very dusty and shower gel was not refilled. Positive to mention is the quiteness and the excellent location of the hotel (lots of good restaurants around, near to tube station en centre of london).

Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hotel. La chambre était tellement petite au point d'en être angoissante. Point positif, ca nous a fait sortir pour visiter la ville. Petit déjeuner minimaliste. Ascenseur tout petit et le plus souvent occupé par les employés. Personnel pas très aimable. Point positif, la proximité avec le tube (Queensway -central line- et Bayswater -circle et district line-) et la proximité avec Notting Hill pour le carnaval. J'irai autre part la prochaine fois que je retournerai à Londres.

The hotel almost matched my needs at all. The rooms were really small but very clean, so were the bathrooms. Very central position and well connected with the city center by bus and underground. Only the breakfast was quite poor.

For us, a couple without children, the stay was ok. I am aware of the fact that air conditioning should not be necessary in London in general, but this time we would have been grateful to have an A/C equipment in our room! Inside, it was even hotter than at the street. However, personnel works well and would try to please me, for instance, turning the tv on whenever I wanted to watch the news at the breakfast room and was really helpful whenever we asked for directions or bus numbers. The hotel was clean and price-quality relation (please, observe that I am talking about London!!) is very good. We barely stayed at the room but for a small nap. The matressess were really hard! but after a long walk through the London streets we wouldn´t even notice :-) Definitely recommended for a short stay like ours!

Hotel and room were clean, but furniture old and worn out. Bathroom partly refurbished, but whoever did that did not bother about doing his work neatly and accurately. Breakfast was very poor.

Stanze piccole (la 201 di sicuro) ma pulite e silenziose. Colazione a buffet anche se il caffe' (per gli italiani)non e' il massimo....croissant,toast,marmellate ecc ecc a volonta'. Il posto e' vicissimo alla metro di Baywater,piena di ristoranti,negozietti e centri commerciali nonche' a 2 passi da Hide Park e 4 passi da Portobello Road.

Une seule chose à noter : une panne d'électricité de 22h à 23h aux 2 dernies étages... rien de bien grave donc ! du coup la bouilloire et la tv ne fonctionnaient pas même après que le courant soit revenu, mais cela ne m'a pas dérangé ! petit dèj' impeccable, en revanche ne vous fiez pas aux photos : les chambres doubles sont vraiement TOUTES PETITES !!!! mais très propres et la SDB est bien.

La habitación estaba muy bien,limpia,el cuarto de baño también, con agua caliente y sin moqueta. Alucina!!!! La cama era muy comoda. La situación ideal con Hyde Park al lado,muy cerca de Notting Hill, y al lado de Marble Arch. Con 2 bocas de metro al lado. La verdad, que el hotel esta bien, pensando lo que hay en Londres, a nivel hotel, que no hay mucho termino medio en cuanto a precios económicos y algo decente para hospedarse. La única pega el desayuno que incluia el precio. Esta bien pero con poca variedad en cuanto al fiambre, solo queso, despues el resto bien.

Hotel, oltre ogni ns. immaginazione, non scherzo... l'accoglienza è stata ottima, gli addetti sono stati gentilissimi, l'hotel è caldo e confortevole e sopratutto collegato a breve con tutti le linee sia bus che metro. Complimenti
