Nice room but quite noisy as the subway was passing every 10 minuts under the hotel. You may prefer a room at the 2nd or 3rd floor.

this is my second time in hotel blue bells, the staff is kind the single room a little small, but everything was comfortable. I suggest a bigger choice for the breakfast.

The hotel has no lift, I was on al 3rd floor which was really a 6th floor. During breakfast time there weren't enough chairs and tables available. They don't usually change sheets and towels every day.

everything was ok,just the breakfast should be a little more rich:for exemple some ham or cheese would give a better impression

I slept in a family room with Ilaria, Federica and Cristina. The room was really big, with 5 beds and a big bathroom but the problem was the cleanliness and the quietness.

the hotel is in a lovely neighbouhood, very close to the underground station notting hill gate. Room are small and forniture is quite old but they are clean. Breakfast is simple but ok. The only problem is the noise of the underground (you are able to hear it even from the first floor). Anyway we had a nice stay and I will probably chose this hotel again.

Clean, impersonal, room needed redecorating, heating consisted of a fan heater. Breakfast very basic.

Do not stay in this hotel unless you are a fan of the London underground as this hotel is directly above one of the lines and very noisey. I checked out after 1 nights stay as I did not get any sleep for the tube noise. The TV did not have a remote control and when asked if there was a replacement. I was told NO and noe alternative offered from a very rude receptionist

The room is very noisy the underground is just under the rooms.

It was our fist and definitely our last time in Blue Bells. The underground was proverbial going through the rooms. That was not holyday that was horror! Breakfast contained of cornflakes und toast. Breaksfastromm was dirty and much to small. It was definitley the badest hotel we have ever seen.

Just rent the DVD "Barton Fink" (Cohen Bros.) and you'll get an idea...A pity of a place cause is very well located...Needs a whole face lift...

The hotel is 2 stars at most and not 3 stars. I was looking for 3 stars. All the other characteristics are perfect for an hotel at most 2 stars.

The hotel had the worst facade of the whole street, with paint coming off. There was no soap in the room, we ran out of toilet-paper, the hair-dryer did not work, the sheets were dirty (brown marks). The underground runs under the house, sounds like it runs through. The breakfast is to slices of toast with jam, all vacant tables were uncleaned both days when we came for breakfast. The heating system did not work; it was really cold during the December-nights. The Indian guy in the reception hardly spoke English, and had never heard of Hard Rock Café. Find another hotel.

Five of us booked a room for the New Year. The room was not ready until 6pm, which was a little inconvenient. The staff are helpful, friendly (if a little disorganised!)and the quality of the hotel for the price is excellent, as is the location. I will book again, as the location and value is excellent and I would recommend this hotel for young groups visiting London who need a safe and convenient base from which to explore.

NO ME PARECE SERIO!!!!!

materassi del letto assolutamente da sostituire. (completamente sfondati). Colazione povera.

our room was really small, but the bathroom was the best I ever seen in my previous london's hotels. the breakfast was ok even if it was a bit poor. The staff was gentle and competent

The breakfast was a joke .. nowhere to sit (all tables occupied), nearly nothing to eat except for two toasts and lukewarm milk.

When we arrived there were noone at the front desk and we had to look around for someone to help us check in. They couldn't find our registration (even though it had been reconfirmed the previous day), but as compensation they gave us their largest room. The room was spacious and clean but worn (as in wallpaper coming off the walls and windows impossible to close). It was noisy with the tube thundering underneath us from early morning till late, but supposedly that's to be expected in London. Other than that the hotel was in a wonderful, quiet street just a few minutes from Notting Hill underground station and a short walk away was the fantastic Portobello Rd market. When we arrived back to the hotel in the aftenoons/evenings there were again noone at the front desk, and we had to help ourselves to our room key - which means anyone else could have helped themselves to our room key as well ... The staff was friendly enough (if they were around) but their knowledge of English seemed limited. However if you speak French, are not very picky about good service or old (but clean) rooms, this is the place for you!

Do not take roomes in the basement. The tube is about to run through your bed.

We enjoyed the proximity to local transportation from the hotel, as well as the friendly staff and the neighborhood. We were very pleased with the large room for three of us, and felt very welcomed by the staff throughout our 7 day stay. We certainly plan to stay at BlueBells the next time we are in London.

It was very stressful to be received by the person at the reception desk with the news that he had no rooms available !!? That during the day he would "try hard" to find a room for us. We left our baggage and spent the day visiting London, but without the assurance that we would have a place to sleep that night. Photos did not reflect the reality of the premises.

Location was great and value was good for money. Breakfast was ordinary room was supposed to be a quad room - extra bed in there and for four people no room to move. They would not remove the bed. Check out time was 12noon - we were told to leave by 11am. Toiletries consisted on a small piece of soap which we had to ask to be replenished. Coffee - there was an empty jar in the room. Towels - we had to continually ask for 4 towels - they would only leave 3.
