I just needed somewhere clean near Euston to sleep for a couple of nights. The room was very small in the basement, but clean.TV worked but only 3 channels. Bathroom clean. Breakfast excellent and staff really friendly. As a woman on my own I felt safe - good value for money.Good value for money. Only bad thing I could hear the underground...but I had friend in the Hilton nearby who paid a fortune and couldnt sleep because of the Fire Station.

The rooms are simple but good enough. Would have been nice with some more comfortable chairs. Nice surroundings and very nice staff.

The Good: Excellent, yummy breakfast service; friendly 24-hour reception; and close to the tube, a grocery store, an internet "cafe", & several late-night "take-away" restaurants. The Bad: As other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms can be small. I had the single ensuite room on the basement floor (Room 3) right next to the breakfast room. The room was the size of a large walk-in closet, but at least the bathroom/shower was a comfortable size for one person. If you like to sleep in, ask for a room that is not next to the breakfast room - you can hear the early morning guests slamming the door as they enter the breakfast room. Luckily I'm an early riser & spend my entire day sightseeing, so the room was not a problem for me (and I have experienced a lot worse in other London B&B's). The reception desk might recommend that you use the Russel Square tube stop; however I found this station to be limited & annoying to access. In the end I preferred to walk the little bit of extra distance to Kings Cross instead, which has every line you'll need. As a single female traveler, I felt very safe walking around the hotel area over a radius of several blocks (of course, I followed the usual precautions of staying on main roads etc). Also this hotel scrimps on the free shampoo, so if you happen to have long hair you might want to bring extra.

I was first time in London with my wife and daughter, we stay there 3 days. The hotel is in good location 5-8 min.walk from Brithish museum and 2-3 min. from Russel sq. (nearest tube station). Around the hotel sebveral pub and quick food and 24h shops, so located in a good area. We arrive from Paris on Eurostar to St. Pancras r.s. which is about 10 min easy walk from the hotel. The staff is very frendly, the room (it wass triple)was enought. So I would stay again in this hotel.

it was way to noise. it doesn't matter how cheap it is if you don't get any sleep it is not much of a vacation. we stayed for 5 nights and were on the main floor. no air conditioning, you can hear everyone that gets buzzed into the motel and this goes on all through the night. mabye the upstairs would be better. the breakfast was good. close to the tube.

we were (3 females incl one teenager)at first not really good impressed when we had to let our luggages on the very small corridor as we couldn't go into our room (quite normal we were too soon),but the guy who welcomed us was really nice, and later when we could go to our room we were really satisfied with the cleanliness and space we could have (for a London hotel criteria). It was my 3rd stay in London and this is the better hotel I had (price is a bit too high)). The breakfast included was normal, not so exceptionnal but we had enough and we were also nicely welcomed which is really appreciated in the morning!

The hotel is in a great community in Bloomsbury (lots of bookshops, small cafe's of all kind, local university) near subway station which is close to Leicester Square and Covent Gardens (15-30 minute walk away), where many theaters are located. Staff was very friendly and helpful with needs. Hotel is sort of a budget hotel...we had a fairly small double room that had no frills, but was clean and reasonably priced for London (No A/C). Would definitely stay there again.

Small room with very small bathroom but pretty good value for money. Decent breakfast. Great location near train stations. One of many small hotels on this street.

Emplacement plutot tranquille. Accueil sympathique.

We were 4 adults sharing one ensuite room, which was small (according to the London standard), but clean and quiet. Really rich breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is absolutely central, very close to all London attractions and to three tube stations. Really nice!

Area is close to a college area, so it was nice to be a little seperated from the tourist traps. Close enough to tube and train stations. Good pubs and some restaurants around. Very good price, especially for London. I don't spend the time in the hotel, so I don't want to spend the money. There is no lift, but its not so bad...we were on the top floor and it was fine. Breakfast was good and free, served us second helpings at no charge (it helped that I left a tip for the server). Bathroom a little small, but the shower was hot, which is all I care about. I would definitely stay here again. Not too much street noise. Co-ed giving a show in her dorm room across the street an added bonus...!

Les 2 chambres familiales etaient dans les combles. Tres peu de place pour circuler dans la chambre, cabinet de douche petit, menage pas toujours fait mais les lits etaient */- refaits. Petit dejeuner copieux et en abondance. Petit prix aussi.

Very convenient to the metro, quiet neighborhood. Both hotel clerks that we dealt with were VERY cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Whenever we had questions about anything, if they didn't know the answer, they found it out for us and got back to us. The breakfast was GREAT. Much more than you get at most European hotels. Can't believe it was included in the price! Very convenient if you come in on the train at Kings Cross/Saint Pancras. Grocery store nearby and plenty of restaurants to suit most tastes. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Overall appreciation excellent minus cleanliness of bedspreads and missing bedside table lamp. Good location, efficient desk and breakfast room staff.

We were 3 people in the room (2 adults and one child), but it fits 4 if necessary. The bathroom was not a tiny space (it's something very rare in London) and has natural light. The breakfast was very good (we just try the continental breakfast). The only thing against was the fact that we were on top floor and the hotel did not has elevator. One last thing regarding the location - there is a shopping centre, several restaurants, pubs, metro stations.

Not at all what i expected. samll and pokey for the price it was most dissatisfying, i have stayed in better bed and breakfasts than this "hotel" offered. The breakfast however was pleasant. Julie

The people at the reception are really very, very nice and welcoming! The surroundings are great, and everything's so close to some of the main London atractions, cultural and others. The only problem I would mention is that during the couple of days of my permanence in London there was extremely cold and windy weather, and I'd sadly found out that the window in my room wouldn't close properly - so I was quite freezing in my room, even though the radiators were very hot!
