Not the best hotel i've seen, but if u want to stay in london without spending too much is ok. the best quality is the location: less than 5 minutes walking from king's cross underground station and 10 minutes by tube from the city centre. non il miglior hotel che abbia visto ma se volete passare qualche giorno a londra senza spendere un patrimonio è perfetto. la cosa migliore è la posizione: meno di 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metro di King's cross e 10 minuti di metro dal centro. ci tornerei.

Not such a great hotel and pretty expensive considering the cleanness of the room and the offered services. Nevertheless it's London (expensive by definition)and the location of the hotel is perfect being so close to the underground

The hotel is 7 minutes walk from King's cross. The prices are good because it's not far from the center of london but the hotel is on a highly frequented road and is horribly noisy specially at night. The room was too hot (with heater off) and the walls not so clean

The hotel is located in a strategic place to move easily everywhere. We were given a double room so tiny that was imposible to move. When I complained about it they changed us to a comfortable one. We had no complains about attention and service in general.

Close to new San Pancras Intl train station. Located in mostly residential neighborhood. Room could have been much better, but good for our need. Not great at night due to fact that doors are hollow and management seems to allow the constant slamming of doors at night. Much better options would probably have been Ashlee House or Premier Inn. Market also within walking distance and good to buy most items at reasonable prices.

My husband and I arrived at Arriva at 11 am. We were told that the check in won't happen until 3:30 pm. At 3:30 we get back and get the key to our room. Our room was literally a BOX. I was getting clastrophobic by being there, so we stayed in the room as little as we could. I'll start with the bathroom. 2 people cannot be inside the bathroom at the same time. They had a tiny sink, very small shower. Once you got into the shower you couldn't do anything else but wash your hair. I couldn't even bend to shave my legs because my head would hit the door! I couldn't put my things anywhere, because there was nothing to put anything on. So needless to say showering was a whole process. As far as the room itself goes, the bed we slept on was probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever been on. You couldn't get around the bed because there's not enough room. We had trouble bringing our luggage inside the room because there was hardly enough space to get it through! They had this tiny little TV in the upper left corner, near the ceiling, just to give you a neckache. It was really hot in the room, so we had to keep the window open at night (and this is at the of November). We couldn't sleep at night because of all the noise neighbors were making. I don't blame neighbors as much as the room walls being too thin. Overall it was a disaster. And to add insault to the injury, they charge 5 BP a day for the internet!!! As if they don't charge enough for the room! I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. The service is poor, rooms are horrifying. You should only go to this hotel if your only other choice is sleeping on the street.

We had no problems finding the hotel, the reception was helpful and friendly. Budget hotels are certainly unappealing in London, knowing that: superficially the bathroom seemed clean but the room had some dust, the wc didn't seem disinfected. The tea-maker inside the room was suspiciously yellow inside and our cups were not washed daily. Having reserved through "Venere" I would say this particular 2 star hotel was O.K. for the price... We would have expected more (at least a full English breakfast) if we had payed the "booking-directly-at-the-hotel" room price. After midnight I suggest to take a taxi since it is a rough area.

Assolutamente sconsigliato!!!

We spent 4 days/ 3 nights in London, and we just got what we expected from a cheap hotel in central London. The situation is perfect, as we arrived to Luton airport, and the transfer train arrived to King's X (where the hotel is). There are more metrolines, wich are good for tourist (Piccadilly, Victoria, Circle), so we reached the important places within 15 minutes. The rooms were quite clean, and just enough spacious for this short staying (tough our friends' rooms were in the -1 floor, and that ones were really tiny). The breakfast was continental, wich is rather nothing (two toast/person with butter and jam), but there are sandwich bars in the neighbourhood, so we survived. Conclusions: I can recommend Arriva for everybody for a short stay, it's really cheap in London (65 Ł/double/night), and anyway:you won't keep party in your room, when visiting London for a few days.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only comment I would like to make is that nowadays it is not very appropriate to charge an amount because you´re paying by credit card. I think they should at least say it in the reservation process. When we arrived at Arriva hotel, they never said anything about it. On the contrary, they sent an authorization message to our bank to see if we could pay the price for the room 6 nights, but they did not include a 3,5% for paying by credit card. On the last day, when we were about to pay, they said they had to charge us that quantity. I think they should have said it before. I complained because I did not know. The man in the reception desk understood my complaint and did not charge us. It is strictly necessary to know how much you are going to pay. However, it is not usual to carry a big amount in cash, so, why charge for a payment by card? Increase the price for the room, but do not make the customer pay if he/she did not know about that condition!

The quality of the rooms is correct, both bathroom and bedroom wide enough, and a very useful fridge in the room. But the employees, mainly one of the receptionists were unpleasant or directly stupid! The breakfast room is very small for the people in the hotel and probably you'll have to wait for your turn, the coffee is horrible and the employees not very inclined to help you.

I travelde with my girlfriend, the price of the hotel was Ok for London Zone 1, the area is quiet noise but is rally close to the center, good service by bus and tube! Maybe the rooms are small but you have to live London so...

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! On balance, the rooms were clean but a redecoration would be sorely needed. Also, the courtesy of the reception staff left much to be desired (in one instance both myself and another person waited over 3 minutes for our room keys while the reception person dealt with largely unimportant matters on the phone!). On balance, while the price is reasonable for a room with bathroom in cental London, I have found much better value for the money and better surroundings in West London.

Pretty Grim. - You could do a lot better for the same price elsewhere. The key is to get a discounted room in a better hotel rather than paying full price in a mediocre place like this. And there are always discounted rooms available in London, if you search the web a bit.

A very short and unprofessional welcoming at check in. The staff in frontdesk behaved very sour and dull. The girs in the breakfast room were a bit politer and had a more serviceminded attitude. Every morning someone had to wait to get a table, thougt all the five or six tables were occupied. The room were a bit dirty and especially the bathroom had sign of recent guest, a bit disgusting i think. One doesn´t have to big expactations when the price is as low, but one will allways expect clean rooms and bathtooms.

TV senza telecomando, in posizione altissima.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Arriva Hotel. My first impression of the reception area and the hallway was very clustered and claustrophobic, but once inside the room itself it was quite spacious and pleasant, if not a little bland. The area itself can be a quite noisy, especially during the night, since it is situated near the main road. However, being just two minutes walking distance from King's Cross station makes it handy to travel to the centre, airport etc. The breakfast area is small but what they have available is nice and the service is good too. For it's price I would reccommend Arriva if you are intending a short stay in London, but if any longer than a week there might just be better offers out there available.

We get to the breakfast room 15 minutes (our fault)late after the closing time and the lady denied to serve anything even looking to my pregnant wife. Don't let them call for a taxi, I guess they have any percentage on doing it, because the taxi is not a London one, is private and expensive. The room's kitchen is disgusting. The hotel has a big problem to serve breakfast. They only have one small room so people have to wait more or less 15min, and tables are not clean enough, cause other people had take their breakfast before. Another thing is that they don't mention us about changing time for spring(one hour), so we all arrive late for breakfast ant flights.

Small breakfast room (only 20 seats), be there early or late. The phones did not work. The room was clean and the beds good. Silent, both internally and externally. When we checked in, we were told they didn't have us booked in for our second night...we had to re-check with them in the morning to see if we could stay in our room! There was a queue for the breakfast room on both mornings of our stay; on the first day we just couldn't wait as we had things to do, so we missed the breakfast. At check-out time, their credit card machine had broken, so we couldn't pay by card. We were forced to go and find a cash machine at that instant as they wouldn't allow us to come back later to pay (even though we were coming back anyway for our bags!), so that wasted at least 45 mins. The breakfast consisted of toast, cereal orange juice and coffee/tea - nothing special there. The room was spacious, as if it used to be a studio apartment, and even had a strange type of laundry/kitchen area which was not usable. The fittings/painting/furnishings were quite dated. 10 minute walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras station. Overall, a bit disappointed.

The room was double, and we've asked for a triple. The third person slept on the sofa, where the matress was of very bad quality. The bathroom was very small, and with no hot water. The room was full of dust, even the telephone machine was black from dust instead of white. Overall it was very dissapointing, we had to find another hotel. P.S the coffee served with the breakfast is awful, try the tea instead.

I went to London with 2 kids (10 and 14 years). The trippelroom was spaceous, but the bathroom was small, and dirty. The dininingroom was not "delightfull" (as written in a leaflet), and we had to que every morning for an available table. We paid £ 59, and I believe this is one of the cheapest hotel in London. The location was great, since we went to and from Gatwick airport by Thameslink. We would love to come back

An excellent accomodation for less money. I had a very spacious, quiet and clean room. The bathroom was a bit old but very clean. the bed was comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to everybody who's looking for a affordable place to stay in London. The staff was friendly. The breakfast room is situated in the basement and has no window, which is not so beautiful.

"Bellino". Nonostante tutto ci ritornerei.

The hotel is really easily reached with public transport. You can get everywhere pretty fast. Of course, it wasn't a huge room, but for its prize it was quite spacious. The furniture of course didn't look posh and new, but it was all clean and nice. It was the first English hotel where I stayed and wasn't freezing at night. Quite remarkable. Also, I asked the receptionist for a hairdryer at 6.30 in the morning. He was very friendly and brought me one at exactly 6.30. Only problem was that my room was on ground floor so I could hear the traffic, but it wasn't too loud. I slept well. Definitely recommendable for its prize!

This property works more like a B&B than a hotel. The first room we got had no curtains and was so small that we had no place for our luggages. The bathrooms need to be refreshed. The breakfast room has no windows however the service is efficient. Price vs service is OK but next time I'll be happy to spend more to be more confortable.

Location is not the most pleasant in london yet very well connected through underground and buses.sorroundings very poor, you need to move (close or far) to do anything.we had asked for 2 double rooms while one of the two was a twin. beds are quite comfortable but pillows seem to have potatoes in them. rooms are not very spacious but this is absolutely common in london, but above all they are a bit poor and very poorly refined, no aesthetical appeal. breakfast is continental type but room is too small for all guests: you need to wait most of the times. personal note: employees are all foreigners. they speak english but that's all they know about england and london. they cannot indicate or suggest any activity to invest some time in or any restaurant (so take a guide with you if you are tourists). in conclusion, if you consider the price of 48 pounds per night on a double room the quality you are given is more than acceptable (london is very expensive), but if you can afford more, get something better (at least 3 stars). personally i will not be returning to arriva

We were in London at the beginning of August. Even though the room was very spacious (we had 2 rooms in the suite), it was very hot and difficult to sleep at night. I do not think I would go to this hotel during Summer. Breakfast is very light, just coffee, bread and jam. Location is very convenient, easily accessible to subway and major bus route. Overall rating is good.

We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Arriva is located close to the Kings Cross underground which was great! We will definitely return to the hotel when we visit London again.

A pleasant place to stay. Considering that it was so close to the subway (King's Cross station is within 5' walk) and located literally in the heart of London, the place is highly recommended. Do not expect luxurious rooms, but they are clean, have a small kitchenette and own shower. The staff was friendly.

Regarding London as being a most expensive city in any respect, the quality/price relationship of the hotel was excellent. Due to a route diversion which led all traffic of the ring road through the little street where the hotel is located, there was a lot of noise all day and all night. But definitely this is not the hotel's fault. The triple room was spacious enough, breakfast was o.k., though every day the same (toast, marmelades, tea, coffee, cereals), colour tv, refrigarator and hot water for tea and coffee in the room. You could leave your luggage if you arrive too soon or leave later. The underground station King's Cross is nearby. A very good hotel if you don't want to spend too much money and use the hotel just for sleeping and breakfast.

In our opinion there is one thing that keeps Arriva alive: 1. It's location (we walked where ever we went). Besides from that: - the rooms were very dirty - the breakfast was low quality - the rooms were not refurished at all - there were stains on the bed sheets - the bathroom seemed as if it was made during the war Since we didn't go to London to stay in the hotel, we didn't bother to find a new hotel. However, it is a bit disapointing to find out that the hotel is not in accordance with the information given and that we probably could have found something better and cheaper.

Excelente. Excellent. I will return to this hotel. The only negative: Very small site for breakfasts (and in cellar); sometimes was necessary to wait to have breakfast.
