We have visited London many times and the following are not acceptable and are below other London hotel standards: Curtain does not cover the window for privacy;window panes were filthy; cafeteria tables dirty and way too crowded even for off season; staff opening door without knocking; public door just outside room bangs upon closing day and night; no heat supply for 2 days and nights with low outside temperatures; 2 pillows were without pillow cases, only 2 towels for 2 guests without bathroom floor mat; bottom of cups do not fit saucer wells and mouldy shower stall.

Used a quadruple room for a 3 days stay: small but affordable. No major complaints nor satisfaction. Only, breakfast was very very poor! Toasts, butter and marmelade, corn flakes + hot drink... In a very small room, often overcrouded!

Disgusting!!! Do not stay here. We could not lock our room, it was filthy and there was a giant searchlight shining into our room and the hotel staff were apathetic. Pay a few extra pounds for safety, security and cleanliness.

W pokoju był czajnik, herbata, kawa, filiżanki i talerzyki, nowe meble, suszarka do włosów i czysta, świeżo wyremontowana łazienka z nienagannie działającymi bateriami-wspólne krany mieszające wodę we własnym zakresie ;) Zastrzeżenia mieliśmy co do czystości wykładziny i okien-hotel prowadzą osoby o ciemnej karnacji, więc to chyba taki standard ;) Stanowczo zbyt ubogie śniadanie: jeśli trafialiśmy na wiekszą ilość osób w przyciasnej stołówce, to na drugą porcję tostów nie było sensu czekać-dojadaliśmy na drugie śniadanie we własnym zakresie. Poza tym miło i uprzejmie, portierzy dyspozycyjni i kontaktowi.

If your only interest is to make a cheap holiday, you can be sure that it will do it... If you are the kind of person who pay a lot of attention to every detail in the place where you sleep, probably you couldn't enjoy it...but also the position is very useful..less than 5 minutes walking from Victoria station!

I have strange feelings, I was late one day, because of accident on the road, and I was charged for this, somebody else used my room - it means they earn money twice! Next day I got room with strange view, and a lot of mess outside the window. Breakfast - very poor, and "waiters" worked like they have to work by force. I am not sure if I visit this property again.

BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL IN LONDON! If you have booked this hotel – congratulations! You have a chance to experience the WORST HOTEL IN LONDON! Let me briefly summarize the major features of AIRWAYS HOTEL: 1) ROOM: It is awfully cold in the rooms. The personnel turns off the heating from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (sometimes they forget to turn it back on in which case you might end up without heating for the night), therefore, when you come back in the evening it is UNBEARABLY COLD!!! In my room the temperature was around 10 degrees Celsius (50 Fahrenheit). So, unless you were born on the North Pole – you can pretty much kiss your health good-bye! 2) ROOM SERVICE: Where do I begin? Room service women come in at 10:30 and sometimes even earlier. So, if you are one of these people who like to sleep late – forget it! They will come over and wake you up. You may try to tell them to come back later – in 10 or 20 minutes, but if you do so – THEY NEVER COME BACK AND YOUR ROOM STAYS UNCLEANED!!! From time to time the treatment is even more fascinating – they open the door and throw a couple of clean towels at you, which, let's look at the bright side is not that bad – you've got a dirty room but at least you've got clean towels:)! 3) BREAKFAST: Now this is a real joke! The menu of the so-called breakfast is the following: tea or coffee, jam and if you really make yourself visible and insist – they will bring you toasts. I guess, prisoners get a better morning meal in jail. To be fair, occasionally, there appear milk, orange juice and 50-year old cereal but it is probably a phantom because all this "variety" vanishes before you manage to get your hands on it. 4) PERSONNEL: Rude and incompetent and don't speak English. 5) HOT WATER: You will have a lot of fun with the water control. It never works the way it should! Having said that, my advice to these who haven't yet booked a room in the AIRWAYS HOTEL – RUN AS FAST AND AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM IT!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Initially the 3 of us were allocated a room for 3 people that was TINY; we could not have opened a suitcase as well as walked around the beds. But the staff moved us to a room for 4 that was much more spacious, and our stay ended up being very pleasant. There are no lifts or elevators (we did not expect them anyway) but it could make carrying heavy luggage difficult. Very good value for centrally located London accommodation.

No hot water for three days!!! The hotel did not even try to resolve the problem after repeated requests. The hotel was under reconstruction at the time of our stay and construction dust was covering the tea cups and pretty much everything else in the breakfast area every morning! (There was no mention of reconstruction when we made the reservation, by the way.) Oh yes, and a simple guest room was used as the "breakfast area", which was so small that we usually could not get in... and instead of the promised English breakfast, all we got was some toast with butter, and some jam on good days...

Me & my husband, both don't have complaint about this hotel. We might stay again for a next time. It is not 5star hotel, not so bad compare with the price and environment. There is no elevator, it made us exhauausted. Fortunately our luggage was not so big. The room was quite confined. The hotel was full when we stayed, whereas we'd never heard any others noises, we could sleep well. Breakfast is served indivisually, then if you have to go out soon after breakfast, you should arrive their breakfastroom earlier. Supermarkets which are open till 10~11pm, are not so far. It seems quite a lot of visitors who stayed in this area bought some stuff for dinner in the shops. Some of restaurants are also open till late night. We could find a restaurant after coming back from mucical.

The decoration was very poor paint over the carpet partially decorated, holes in the walls. Breakfast area the patio tables were dirty it was cramped there was damp on the walls the table wasn't set the kitchen area looked dirty, carpets dirty, very low standard of hygiene.

Stayed in london with a friend and her 2 kids, welcoming at arrival was cold and arrogant ! the receptionniste clamed my creditcard immédiately for paying the whole stay of 3 nights wich I refused ! from that moment he was distant and hardly spoke to us. the staff was pourly dressed (very kind in breakfast room!!!) the hotel was looking as if it was war.....old, no maintenance, dirty ..... very disappointing ! but our stay was excellent since we took care for that so next time I just chose another hotel !

Because of big restoration of the Hotel, our rooms and most of the Hotel were very dirty. Some of the electrical plugs didn't work, no heat in the room so we had to contact the reception, very small room, very dirty in the dinning hall, not very friendly service in the dinning hall, which also was very small. However good service in the reception, but not a place where we would like to stay again.

While we were staying, the hotel was in the middle of renovations, we had a brand new room which was very nice and being new clean, but we thought that the floor we were put on should not have been in use while doing renovations for safety reasons. the dining room wasn't really big enough for the hotel, and it would have been helpfull to have a lift with suitcases to the room, the staff were helpfull when asked any thing,it is well situated for the tube station for getting around London

We stayed in London for three days and we were happy about the location of Airways Hotel. However, we were very disappointed about the cleanliness of the rooms, or I should say, the absence of cleanliness. The worst part was the bathroom and especially the shower which clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival (mud and hair everywhere, it was absolutely disgusting).

Hi, I stayed at Airways for 4 nights, but got a room in the basement which was terrible, my daughter was bitten by some bedbugs - and was itching all over - we complained and got another room on third floor which had just been renovated, so if you book this hotel - please state that you will not stay in the basement.

Unfortunately we are very angry... We must change the room one time in 3 days. The 2nd room had has a nice view of the emergency stair and was close to the kitchen. The condition of both rooms was very bad (defect lamps, wallpaper was teared to pieces, tap dripped). That's why we wouldn't recommend this location. During we had to change the room, the staff searched for something in our luggage. It seemed that some things are missed (luckly it wasn't). That's whay we wouldn't recommend this location.

I have to say that was my first stay in that hotel but the service was offered was really poor and I am not going to make this mistake again. I wanted to stay only one night and I had to go to the training course through the work next day and bacuse the place was very noisy I couldn't get a proper sleep, and all the noise was from the kitchen and staff of the hotel and I think most of the guests were not happy about it.

Only critism is that i did not like having to change from hanover hotel to airways because it disrupted the day a bit. it is nice to have your own room that you can stick to. either that or change the check in and out times to be closer together because i had time just hanging on to wait for my room the next day. apart from that i was happy with everything.

Honestly this hotel is perfect situated. this is good in order to stay there a few days. we have spent 4 days and was good in general. The price is cheap thinking the situation, and the breakfast is incluided. But,although the hotel is normal... there is a big problem: beds are horribles, honestly. and the bathroom is very very very small, veryyyy , is like a portable bathroom. For that i recomend this hotel to a people who spend 3 or 4 days, no more.

I was disappointed. After arriving to the Airway hotel, I was asked to pay for my stay and AFTER the charge was made, I was informed that due to technical problems I would be staying in another hotel St. George Bed and Breakfast). I did not find the new location (or at least the room) equivalent to what I was expecting when making the reservation in Airway. Since I wasn't given an opportunity of staying in Airway, I am unable to rate this hotel in the above rubrics. I definetely did not like that I was not given an option of finding my own accomodation when the owner knew he could not accomodate me. Rather the card was charged and then I was sent to a hotel that likely was not on the level of what I was hoping for in Airway.
