A reasonably priced hotel for Central London ( Baker Street, MMe Tussauds, Regents Park etc ) Slightly noisy because of its location, which in all other respects was good for buses, tube etc. The room we had was smallish but clean and adequate for a two night stay. The shower room was excellent. Price included breakfast which was ample with cheese, ham, eggs, cereals etc. There was not much in the way of public areas and no bar, though there was a " mini-bar " with non-alcoholic drinks in the room which also had a safe. Staff were competent and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for people seeking reasonably priced well situated middle of the range accommodation.

It is second time I am staying in this hotel. The personal is friendly, the reception is opened through the night. The room I had the second time is relatively small, but it was clean.

I am very happy with our stay at the hotel 82. The room, the location, the breakfast, the receptionist, everything was very good! the only two things was 1. pressure of the water in the shower was bad and 2.the welcoming when we came to leave our luggage before chek-in. the woman we met then was very unpleasant and rude! supposedly someone who worked with the cleaning. but however, the receptionist made up for it two hours later and was very nice.

My single room doesn't have any windows. So, it was not very nice.

This was the first time I stayed in Hotel 82. As my friends had babies, they were given the largest rooms (which were really big, especially if compared to average London hotel rooms). The receptionist was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. I recommend this hotel especially to those who want to be in the city centre, near to big shops. A few metres far there's also an underground station and a bus stop.

Consigliatissimo a chi vuol passare qualche giorno di vacanza in una zona di facile accesso al centro, sicura e tranquilla. A poca distanza da metro(500m) e fermate autobus. colazione inclusa abbondante, camera spaziosa e pulita, bagno pulito e sempre in ordine. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

The worst hotel stay ever! No sleep at all. I visit London regularly and most of the time, the hotels are overpriced and far from being up to scratch. But hey, this is London! Hotel 82 wasn’t an exception however; some sleep would have been appreciated. The charge was asked on arrival perhaps as an indication of the type of clientele frequenting the establishment. The space in the lift was only enough for 2 pieces of luggage and one person, me and my son had to climb the stairs. Worse of all was the fact that we weren't informed that the windows were being fixed and weren't double-glazed. Notice that we were given the room, and charged £90 per night despite the fact that room was undergoing maintenance. Too much for transparency! We spent two cold horrid sleepless nights were the 24 hour traffic on Gloucester Place seemed to be passing right by our bed. When complaining, I was blackmailed on the spot by the receptionist. I was told that I have not informed them, upon booking, that we have a child whereby, normally, a charge of £15 would be incurred for an extra bed! This is, despite the fact that we booked a double bedroom and our 5 years old would happily sleep with us. I was shocked when this happened as if the £15 were waved in my face to stop me from complaining. Eventually, I was told that should I have complained earlier regarding the state of the windows and, currently, there is nothing they could do about it. With instant coffee and re-heated croissants, the breakfast was at best mediocre. It was quite an unpleasant experience for an, allegedly, four star hotel and it did, quite considerably, upset our stay in London.

I only had one complaint the shower was far too complicated for the small cubicle. I thought it was excellent value for money and great location.

I had no problems with the room but the attitude of the housekeeping staff was very disappointing. They took a very harsh stance towards me and knocked on my door an hour before check out and rudely told me when I was required to leave even though I already knew. I work in a hotel myself and I am aware of high quality service which I did not receive at this hotel.

We stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard so it was quiet. It was also very comfortable and the first general impression was one of relative luxury. But the shower wasn't working properly: very low pressure, so having a shower was very long, and some things were broken: a light bulb and a peg in the bathroom. But that didn't bother us very much! THe corridors and lift were so hot, though the outside temperature was about 20°.In fact we had the feeling that the renovation has been very well done but since, nothing is checked, and the minimum is done! That's a pity because it's a beautiful place and very practicable indeed : very close to Baker street. Quality vs Price is nevertheless excellent.

Conveniently located hotel has all the basics. Design reamins fresh though some stained walls and carpet marred the minimalist decor. Single room was efficient but tiny. Worst surprise was no natural light. Windows were there but apparently faced into closed-up lightwell. This doesn't matter at night but the result was like an inside cabin on a ship. Be sure to ask if this matters to you. Breakfast was adequate but late-risers will find it picked-over and staff will throw you out of room exactly at 10:00.

I stayed in a single room for two nights. location was very handy and close to underground link. the only drewback was no proper window nad fresh air avaialable in the room. otherwise it was very good and price was reasoable. I will stay again here.

Very nice hotel. Our room was big enough for the two of us. All the walls are white, so there is enough light. The breakfast is very good. Fresh croisants and warm breads!

Our room was small but comfortable and very quiet apart form a slightly unpredictable air-conditioning which we eventually managed to switch off.

room tidy and quite spacious for london. Bathroom tidy shower a bit weak and door wouldn't close properly causing slight flood.Very disappointed with neighbouring room who decided to watch tv at full volume at 0300 hrs.Had to make 2 complaints before finally matter resolved. Not good when had an important job interview the next day. Still quite pleasant, would stay there again.Lots of restaurants nearby and Madam Tussards 5 mins walk.

We had a wonderful time in London and Hotel82 is a perfect place too stay. Short walk from Oxfordstreet and busstation. Beautiful modern hotel, with the smallest elevator that we have used. We will come back to Hotel82.

postal code of the Hotel on Venere homepage and on Hotel homepage are different. I noticed that because I have waited for Prince-tickets by mail service. But actually it wasn't a problem. It just made me a bit nervous... Tickets received in time and it was a great show!!!!!

Nice location (near Baker street), nice and clean room. Room not so quite as the windows are on the main street, Gloucester Place. Poor breakfast, only cold things (no scrambled eggs with bacon!)

In general hotel 82 is a small cosy hotel with good location. However rooms are small and breakfast is very light, at least coffee in 4 star hotel I expected to have much better.
