Do not encourage people to stay at this HORRIBLE place, there were 2beds squished into a room with space for 1 ,no where to put your suitcase let alone open then.We asked if the room would be avaliable for another few nights 9while we looked for better place) and was told that it was at the same rate then the rate suddenly went up by 20 pounds a night, and the management yelled at us and other guests and wouldnt give us our room key until we paid the money owing (the money was locked in the room) they have so many tables crowded into the breakfast room that people get stuck, breakfasT is cereal and toast .The staff ignore you while they have personal conversations and then they yell at the guests its an AWEFUL place

In my entire life, I have never been in such a dirty hotel. Itwas impossibile to use the bathroom because it was so dirty. The breakfast area was filthy and no-one cleaned up.In the breakfast room they also had the laudry room!! To get to my bedroom I had to go through a corridor where they kept all their cleaning equipment. There was fresh paint on the doors without any notice - so we all got covered in paint!!I would never ever go back to that hotel again. The photos on the web page had nothing to do with what we saw and what we got. The only good thing was that the hotel was central.

I stayed at Airways Hotel, not at Hanover. This is not important beacause I´m sure they are similar. My room was double, not single, so I enjoyed my stay because I had more space. The bathrooms are clean but very small. The employees seemed relaxed (excesive?). The worst for me was the breakfast room, very small, old and not beautiful and really not quiet. The breakfast was good and complete.

It has been the worst experience so far in my life. The hotel's quality equals to a youth hostel in terrible condition. The dirt in the room was disgusting, I could not even take a shower. I felt betrayed due to the complete difference of the photos of the hotel on the internet and the reality. And it is not about the size. If you pay so little, it is expected to get a really small room (hole i would say). But for God sake, at least clean the room!

the room was really noisy because the window was broken and just moved all the night. It was awful, we can't sleep and live at about 6 o'clock in the morning. The room is tiny and not very clean. Upon arrivel there was a bad smell (of damp) inside the building. Reception area & the main sitting areas were tiny & shabby looking. Room size was ok but again their was a funny smell inside the room. Window glasses were cracked & windows were difficult to open. Once opended they were difficult to shut or to keep them ajar (we were afraid that they may fall down). We could hear people living above us moving as floor boards were squeeking. Breakfast was a complete disaster. We had to queue. Tables & chairs were extremely uncomfy & there was little room between the tables. Staff serving needs a lot of training & so does the guys at reception. We didn't even bother going for breakfast after 1st day. Certianly not a 3 star accomodation. Call it 1-star or a B&B. Not a good value at all.

It was a "bait and switch". The room was small, the bathroom a converted closet (very small) where you could not shower without the shower curtain (which smelled really bad) touching you. A shower soaked the entire bathroom. Wall paper hung loose from the ceiling. It was our last day in Europe, we had spent the most for this particular room thinking that we would "finish in style". It turned out to be the worst of everywhere we had stayed. Stay away from Hanover!!

It was an awful experience. The floor of the rooms were sloped and the doors of the furniture opened by itself. The room had just enough space for the bed and the bathroom was smaller than that of the airplains. We have to climb up to the third floor with our luggages by the narrow and very steep stairways, which had each step different of the others. Take care with the kind of breakfast they offer to you!!! If you take english breakfast they charge to your account about 4 extra pounds each time and each person. The breakfast included in the price is the continental one, and they don't tell you. We will never go back to this horrible site that names itself "hotel". We can't understand from were they stole the hotel's stars.

EXTREMELY HOT almost unbarable for us and when we open the window we had a smell of gas that was very unpleasant, why? because all the sorts of gas were placed in the wall in front of our room so we had a great view and a lovely smell and we also had tv but it was broken...the hairdryer was so hot an slw that to burn my hair i would take a week and i only stayed 3 days. poor restaurant not good food but then again you are not suposed to eat well in London. very near victoria coach station not as near the undeground but good location only we believe that 3 stars is too much to define this hotel.

Good value for the money. There is no elevator - our room was on the second floor and was the only room with a balcony. If you get one of the rooms on the top floor you have to climb seven flights of stairs and the stairs are very narrow. This Hotel is a multistory building without a lift, there is only a staircase. I have a disability and had asked for a room on the ground or first floor. I was given a room on the top floor, it was a great problem to relocate me to a lower floor and it involved extra expense for me. The breakfast room was serviced by staff who did not have a sufficient grasp of the english language to enable ordering my breakfast. I never got the breakfast I ordered on any of the days I was there. This would have to be one of the worst run hotels in the whole of western europe. Customer service is a concept lost to the Hanover Hotel.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay at Hanover Hotel. Usually, when paying less than 40 pounds for a single room, you have to put up with poor quality. Not this time. The room was lovely - albeit a little noisy in the morning - and when coming to London next I shall hope to stay in the same hotel and the same room! Many thanks!

Hotel is well situated nearby Victoria station and Coach station. Surroundings are nice and not noisy. We liked it there.

Single Room Ensuite....? No heat... They placed an electrical heater for my troubles... Room was the size of two coat closets. Just enough for a bed. Televisions too small. No remotes for television. Kitchen staff sometimes rude. Breakfast too small a portion. A lot was broken in this hotel. Even the front door bell for late arrivals and party-goers... They could have fixed a lot. Ventilation grille was clogged with a lot of messy stuff. Walls were unsanitized and not clean. Carpeting is one big collection of hay fever bugs just waiting to get 'ya

The room had not been vacuumed since the last occupancy. The carpet needed to be shampooed [many stains]. No carpeting would have been better. My daughter pulled back her sheets and there were several black hairs on the laundered sheets. We went to a linen cupboard we had seen in the hall and re-made the bed. When a new sheet was unfolded there was another long black hair on it.

Clean room and bathroom (the shower was excellent), room with poor walking space, good staff. All days same but good cooked breakfast. 10 minutes walk to Victoria station, 5 to the Coach station.

Front desk not very hospitable. Reluctant to change our room from a "oil paint smell" room to slightly better room. One lamp in the room without a lamp shade. Shower was great.

I was expecting this hotel to be basic in corollation with the star rating and price but I still found it disappointing. The reception area looked well but as soon as you ventured up the stairs you were met by worn and stained carpets, damaged wall paper and rooms from which all noise on the stairs and from other rooms could be heard. The bed linen and bathroom was clean but the general presentation was poor. We booked a double room for two nights Friday and Saturday. When we arrived we were told that there were no double rooms available and so they would have to put us in a family room. We had to repack our bags on Saturday morning because they insisted on moving us to a double room for the second night. As we were only staying 2 nights this was a bit annoying. When we got back on Saturday night at 1am our bags had being moved but the room had not being made up for us so we had to wait while it was done. The bathroom in this new room was tiny and the shower resembled one you might see in a caravan. There was no hot water the next morning and when I complained I was told that it would take 5 mins to get to that part of the building. I waited 20 and then gave up. Finally, the breakfast room was not capable of coping with the demand. The first morning we had to queue to get a seat. the second morning we just didn't bother. We had had enough.

Hard to evaluate, because life is very expensive in London. So what could seem expensive to us is in reality cheap, considering price competition in London. Tried to do my best.

The 2 main problems of the hotel: 1) personnel at the reception is not well-prepared (more service-education and customer-orientation is necessary; generally I did not have the impression that the reception staff is highly motivated or educated in running a hotel, neither they are really interested in satisfying their guests); due to the slowliness of a reception-member during our check-out (he did not find their data-file about us and seemed generally confused) we missed the train to the airport! 2) The noise level in our room was extremely high due to the very thin walls, I woke up frequently during the night whenever someone opened or closed a door or was talking! The most positive aspect of the hotel was the personnel and service of the breakfast-room, including the breakfast itself. Although it would be necessary to provide more space: the breakfast-room is much to small for the amount of guests.
