Awful hotel. Awful room. My room was in the basement, with no hot water ! The bathroom was so small, that the toilet was like if being in the shower. Low price for London, but there is no miracle

The hotel is not very close to any underground stations, but if you are prepared to walk for 10 minutes several major lines can be reached. Our room was under the roof, four floors high without lift and with a very narrow and steep staircase. But the British museum is only 15 minutes' walk away.

I was traveling with a friend. We requested a twin room and found two single rooms (in the basement). They were so small, in particular the bathroom (it's not a room but a plastic room inside the bedroom)! You can see my photos......... I really don't suggest this hotel. The main reason is that is really dirty. I cannot describe my upset when I verified the pillow, under the cover: I found every kind of hair...The bathroom and the bedroom was never cleaned during our stay and the last day we saw the supposed "clean" sheet on the dirty floor. But everything was dirty, including the breakfast room. The only positive aspect was the location, near to Russel square and to the underground. ......and don't send an e-mail to the hotel for information, they will never answer!

We booked a family room at this hotel. The price was reasonable for London, it was the busy Easter weekend, so it wasn't easy to find a room in the price range we were after. Taking all this into consideration, ie price, we were pleasantly suprised. A very clean room, cramped, but what do you expect ?! Clean bathroom, toilet facilities. Very comfortable beds ( in our room anyway ) coffee, tea making.Fairly quiet for a city. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. The only critisism I have is that the instant coffee jars on the table, (one was given a pot of hot water), looked a little like the one at home (that everyone has dunked their spoon into !) Maybe the same spoon was used to eat their yoghurt ?! I would rather have had individual sachets of instant coffee. Maybe the hotel owners could consider this. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are a family looking for reasonably priced accomadation for a weekend tour of London, but not for a family of very large people !

The hotel is very poor and the public areas don't exist! Breakfast room is very very small! About the rooms, they are smallest that I had never seen; moreover the toilet is smaller than the line ships one (economic class). Cleanliness is low; five nights without sheet change!

Price/ Quality was good. It was not luxurious, but clean. Nice neighbourhood with plenty public transport and in walking distance of Covent Garden, 15-20 minutes walk. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

I stayed two nights in this hotel. At first, the room looked very nice, with a little window giving to the backyards of the neighbouring houses. It is very convenient if you want to be close to the centre. However, the three Bs: Bed, Breakfast and Bath, were not satisfactory at all. The Bed was extremely uncomfortable, I had pain in my back for two days. The breakfast was poor and bad quality. The bath was a pre-fabricated one, like the ones in boats, big concerts or caravans, not ideal.

Stayed for 2 nights, and kept awake by front door slamming all night by other guests. Bed was very old and uncomfortable. Room was freezing and did not comply to Health and Safety Regulations, and did not have a Fire Notice on the bedroom door. For London the price was very cheap, but this was reflected in the room. I will not be booking again.
