Major renovations to the property took place in 2005. Today the hotel offers high quality en suite rooms in a completely redecorated context. It also provides a public computer in the reception area for all guests to send and receive emails. Wi-Fi Internet access is furthermore available throghout the building.

Besides, all guests have access to tennis facilities in Cartwright Gardens. Courts can be booked at the front desk.

Peacefull location opposite a park but within very short walk of lots of shops and places to eat arround the Brunswick centre.Short distance from Kings cross and the Bloomsbury Tube.A pleasant period building which must have been fairly recently refurbished to a good standard both rooms and common areas.I was a single traveler and got a double ensuit room.Internet access available iether usuing your own PC or the PC in the common area. The hotel was full and yet very peacfull in the night.Staff were also very helpfull indeed and breakfast was very good. Definately would use this hotel again as it represented good value. I have stayed in more expensive hotels in London which have had poor house keeping, but this one is being run to a very good standard.

Very close to the king's cross station, in ten minutes you can reach every destination. Clean, cheap and friendly staff. ok, it is not a 4 stars hotel but it's perfect for a short WE.

This a another converted London townhouse with very small rooms and almost no public space. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. Prices were good, for London, but high for anywhere else.

Good value for central London and the location is superb - a quiet crescent facing gardens yet only minutes away from Euston station, bus stops and a choice of restaurants. The staff were efficient and there was a pleasant waiting area where we sat for about half an hour until our room was ready. The room was perfectly adequate in terms of size but the bed was squeaky and sagged in the middle - this would be the main factor that might deter us from staying there again. The breakfasts were fine - juice, cereals, full English with the eggs freshly cooked.

I have stayed here on three separate occasions for business. The main reasons I chose this hotel were price, free wifi and reviews indicating quite a quiet location. The rooms are fairly small but clean and the decor is pretty basic (reminded me of student rooms). The free wifi works really well, you have to ask for the key but the signal and speeds are good. The shared toilets are clean. I didn't use the showers so am unable to comment on those. The staff are friendly and polite. I didn't experience any noise or problems from other hotel guests, however the room is single glazed and, despite being on a relatively quiet leafy back street, there was still some outside noise from people returning from pubs and taxis running their engines outside in the street for several minutes at a time. There are lots of places around to get dinner and the hotel is only a couple of streets away from Russell Square Station.

Friendly, welcoming staff; hot English breakfast served at table; freshly brewed coffee and fruit juices available all day; free use of computer and a reasonable room rate for a hotel which is less than 10 minutes' walk from Euston and Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (and the nearest Undergound station - Russell Square - is even nearer) - what more could you ask for?

Excellent staff, very clean and quiet room, delicious breakfast, and central location. It is so close to three train stations to get U tube, and convenient to see British Library and British Museum. The only drawback was it did not have an elevator and we had to carry our luggages up to the 2nd floor.

Very nice hotel very close to the train station, just a few blocks walk, tucked away in a cul-de-sac like street so very quiet and sweet, the price is definitely right, and includes a good breakfast in a very comfortable dining room. Close to Balfour restaurant which is very nice and there's a little pub around the corner too. Near Russell square with tube stops, so handy to get around. Overall would definitely book again if going to London.

The position of the hotel is very good, in a little and quiet square. The tube stations and the bus stop are fairly near the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean; also the bathrooms are spacious but old-fashioned. There are few places for breakfast and then every morning there is a little queue before sitting: I think that it's the only flaw of this nice hotel, where I will come back certainly.

I spent ten days at the Euro Hotel March 2009. The hotel was exactly as advertised and in a great location. You are in close proximity to Kings Cross and Russell Square tube stations, Brunswick Center with a grocery, Boots and other shops, with lots of restaurants and pubs. Try the Dolphin a very nice neighborhood pub and during the week they serve wonderful Thai food.

This was a small room on the top floor reached by a lot of stairs, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was busy and there was a need for more tables, people were waiting for tables on Sunday morning.

If you are looking for a hotel with Internet connection then the Euro is not to be recommended. There were an archaic computer in the restaurant that would hang in the middle of the session. Old british houses flavor. Nice public garden in front. Excellent position, 10 min walking from King's Cross station St. Russel Sq and St. Pancras. Soho reachable walking (15-20 min), there are a few shops and cafes around. Breakfast in the morning is fare but with super nice bow windows on gardens. Had toilet in room but took a look at the shared ones in corridor and they were a little small but clean and functional. No elevator and steep stairs so keep it in mind even if they have only three floors.

I only had an overnight stay before walking to catch Eurostar (seven minutes walk with wheeled case.) I left at 7.15am before breakfast, but this I expected. A lovely building in pleasant surroundings, modern standards and improved without spoiling the character of the building. Not important to some but it is to me. I had an excellent twin room overlooking the tennis court and a very good bathroom. Generous beverage tray. Pleasant people, nice welcome, efficient, clean. Very good indeed and I hope to stay longer next time and experience the reputedly good breakfast. This is a small bed and breakfast hotel and does it excellently. It should not be confused with a starred hotel.

I found at Euro Hotel the most difficult things to find in London for that price: quietness, welcoming staff, wonderful breakfast (buffet to which you can add special orders, all included in room rate), and cleanliness. I will definitely recommend the place and go back to this hotel next time I'll go to London. And last but not least, it's 5 minutes walking from Eurostar station in a very calm area with garden in front of hotel. Really, nothing to complain!!

We used the map provided by venere.com's confirmation e-mail to walk to the hotel from the tube station - the map provided by venere.com was completely inaccurate (we realized this after 1.5 hours of trying to search for the hotel by foot). Better to use the map provided on the hotel website which is far more accurate. Also, we initially stayed in a room with a double bed - the double bed is uncomfortable and small. If you are a couple opting for two single beds would be way better. Overall, due to lack of comfort and noise level, I would recommend paying more and staying somewhere nicer.

I stayed at the Hotel Euro for a theatre trip with a family member. I'd booked the hotel based on the location and description of the Hotel. I was not disappointed and was very pleased with the hotel and staff. We had a very nice twin room on the ground floor with an en suite bathroom. The beds were comfy and there was ample storage space. Ok there was noise until about 3 ish but there again we are talking London on a sat night! The hotel itself was quiet (although fully booked), the noise was from the distance and was unavoidable. At least there was no traffic noise! I would highly recommend the Euro Hotel. The location was perfect, 10 minutes from Kings Cross train station and only minutes from Russell Square tube station. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast more than adequate. The Euro Hotel is not a luxury hotel, but if you want great value for money, a clean room and great location then the Euro is for you.

My wife and I and our 14 year old teenage boys stayed at the Euro Hotel for three nights, July 27-30, 2008. Given the expense of staying in central London, the Euro Hotel was the only two star hotel that we stayed at during our three week, seven city Europe trip. Consequently, the hotel lacked two basic amenities, an elevator and air conditioning. The lack of an elevator was a minor inconvenience, however, the absence of air conditoning in 90 degree weather made our stay uncomfortable. We left all the windows open, but this didn't help much. The hotel is rather dated, but clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was located within 3 blocks of Russell Square and the Picadilly subway line, making the location very convenient. Restaurants, a laundromat and two supermarkets are all located within a block or two of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel anytime except during a hot spell in London. It is important to note that while our family room included an in room bathroom, the hotel offers other rooms that do not have in room bathrooms.

This hotel was very accommodating. They kept our bags when we arrived despite being too early to check in. They graciously greeted us in three waves. (My family all came separately). They answered our many questions about the Underground, etc. The area--Bloomsbury--was a good place to be situated. There were many inexpensive ethnic restaurants nearby. Two different Underground stations were an easy walk away. There were shops nearby. It was also a actual neighborhood (where people live), so it didn't have a commercial feel to it. The rooms were clean and well appointed. They had TVs, although they didn't get much in terms of selection. One of our rooms was larger than we requested, which was nice. The hot English breakfast was also a nice thing to have. It was good food, and it made mornings much easier in terms of getting underway. This was real value given the location, the service, the breakfast, and the rooms. We would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in London for a few days.

I can't remember the name they gave, but wasn't given to me anytime I asked up until 11:30am, went to lunch & came back & was able to pick up package, but delay in waiting for pkg caused loss of rental car in Bath. This hotel is in an excellent location for travelling. It is a few minutes walk from a direct Underground line to Heathrow airport and a few minutes walk from Kings Cross/St.Pancreas station (Eurostar). There are also a large number of very good pub's and restaurants around. We stayed one night in a stop over in London, and for this purpose I think this hotel is excellent. The rooms were very basic though and a little shabby - I would not recommed this hotel for an extended stay in London. Our room was on the main floor and there was a lot of noise all night from people coming and going and from the rooms above - which made for an interupted nights sleep. The room was also only passably clean with stains on the bedspread.

The friendly, cheerful and service-minded staff made a positive impression from the moment I arrived. There is no lift, but the suitcase was brought to my room on the third floor in a matter of minutes (with a big smile - I'm not sure I would have smiled if I had just had to carry my heavy suitcase up those stairs). The hotel has a very pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Breakfast is nice (beautifully poached eggs!) with proper coffee, not instant, and there are newspapers and a computer available in the breakfast room. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day and used towels and teacups replaced. Tea and coffee making equipment in the room with plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The Euro Hotel is in an excellent location for those of us who like to use the tube to get around London (it is close to Russel square, King's Cross/St.Pancras and Euston stations). There are also a few reasonable restaurants in the area, and shops with ATMs just around the corner in Marchmont Street. I recommed this hotel as a good and reasonably priced option for those of us who have neither the desire nor the money to stay in luxury hotels (after all, I do not go to London to spend time in my hotel room), but still want to stay somewhere clean, quiet and central. I will probably stay there the next time I visit London, too.

This was our second stay at the Euro. Lovely hotel in fairly quiet area. Breakfast is very good. Not too far to a tube station. Ideal for a weekend away or for a whole week in London. Not sure if there is a lift to all floors in this hotel, but still worth a stay.

This was an excellent hotel for both price and location. All the staff were extremely pleasant and the inclusive breakfast was very good. Every floor had a number of separate WC/shower rooms so it's likely that many of the rooms don't have en suite facilities. Ensure, therefore, that you book the right type of room that you require. I have no adverse comments of the hotel at all, hence my high ratings, and would certainly consider staying there again.

Overall we had a nice stay (1 night). Clean hotel, nice staff, the room relatively small. The big advantage of the hotel is that it is within walking distance from the center (10 minutes to the British museum), but also has quiet surroundings. Very good price/quality relationship.

The best thing about the Euro Hotel is the location. The close proximity to King's Cross Station is a blessing. Plenty of Restaurants & Pubs nearby. I was a little concerned about the shared washrooms & showers. No Problem, I never had to wait & everything was very clean. Single squeaky bed, very small room, but the room had a sink, small TV & telephone. Don't use the telephone, it is very, very expensive. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Very Clean!, excellent cleaners! I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price, they don't cheap out on breakfast either, if you want 2 eggs, 2 bacon etc. No Problem. Good Place. The floors are a bit squeaky, & there can be a bit of Fri, Sat night Pub noise, I was OK with this. If you require total silence to sleep, may not be the best place. I thought it was just fine. Neat old building that fits the budget. Rooms were too hot, easy to open the window though. Great place, would stay again.

Pretty good three star hotel in a quiet area. The surroundings have many points of interest and are well connected with the rest of the town. Russel Square tube station is just five minutes walk. The service was quite accurate; the welcome rather lukewarm, though.

This was the first hotel I ever stayed at that didn't have en suite facilities. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and quiet everything was, the WC/shower room was just steps away and I didn't see or hear another person in there any time I used it. The location of the hotel is very good, there are pubs and grocery stores nearby, and it's a very easy walk to the Russell Square Tube station (for the Picadilly line to Heathrow). When traveling on a budget, this place can't be beat.

The room size was good, approx 12 sqm. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was ok and plentiful for the price. But most important: it was very clean. The furniture is Swedish :-) It is a good-value hotel. Throughout the year I stay in various places: from Youth hostel to Hyatt excutive rooms- from 40 EUR to 400 EUR a night. But I am modest and I am not a snob. If you are basically modest and don`t have an urge to pretend to be upper-class or need to behave in a bossy maner, then you will be just fine with the place. It`s certainly a good, basic, hotel to spend a couple of days in to see London. We had come especially for an Opera performance at Covent Garden. The Hotel is only two stops away. Of course you must not expect a Spa, 3 different restaurants and a penthouse cocktailbar on top!Still I don't think it is possible to find a better deal for lesser money. The showers were on the corridor, which is fine for me. The TV had 4 different channel- one of them was BBC- I don`t realy need more on a weekend-trip. Voilà, c`est tout!

Our stay at the Euro hotel was an ok experience for the price. We traveled one adult and two 12 year old girls. The staff was friendly and served us an ok english breakfast (included). We ordered a room without bathroom, but this was not a big problem, as we did not see any of the other residents during our stay, even though the hotel was quite full. The room was spacious and quiet, but 2 of the 3 days we stayed at the hotel, some kind of constant pump- or engine-noise started in the walls at 11-12 o'clock in the night, and made it difficult to sleep. We also heard this noise one of the mornings.. Quite irritating, especially in the night !! Allover a nice experience.

This was our first stay at Euro Hotel. The hotel was convenient to Kings Cross station and Euston Square tube. The British Museum was within an easy walk, and there were a number of pubs and small restaurants close by. The room was a decent size for two people, and it was a good value for the money. The breakfast was a traditional English served between 8:00 - 9:30, The rooms were somewhat noisy. The floors in the hall are wood, and footsteps are quite loud. The front of the hotel faces onto a street that is a favored path for late night pub goers, who are a bit loud laughing and talking. The back of the hotel may be quieter.

The Euro Hotel staff were efficient but not overly friendly. The room was basically as described. The ensuite smelt badly which was rectified with some appropriate airing. This could have been done prior to our arrival. The floors are very uneven and unsuitable for older people. The floors in the breakfast room squeak very loudly and embarass most quests. The English breakfast was acceptable however was not being prepared with any passion and ownership. After asking for it to be served hot it came from that day freshly microwaved. The hotel was adequate for a tourist liesure trip but not great value for money. The staff were fine but not passionate. The location is good being so close to the Tube and the Eurostar and the local area is fine. Proximity to the British Museum is a plus. Our room overlooked the park which is also a big plus.

This is not a luxury hotel, but it serves very well for a short stay. It is very competently run. The area is safe and, a few drunken students apart, quiet and pleasant. Very convenient for Euston. The English breakfast has high quality ingredients.

The Euro Hotel is located in a building that appeared to be a string of different hotels. Very easy to reach from King's Cross. The Staff were all foreign girls, each of them friendly and helpful. The room was as small as I expected, but with a view of the gardens, it was never claustrofobic. Toilets and showers were clean. The bed was a bit squeeky, which is about my only comment. The internet access was great, although not available after 11 pm, because the lounge closes at that time. No stairs, but only 3 flights high. I would stay there again.

I had a fantastic break in London and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in November 2007. It's just a few minutes walk from Euston railway station (my point of arrival) and handy for The British Museum in Bloomsbury, which is where I spent much of my time. The hotel provided all the facilities I needed. I paid £55 per night for a single room with shared bathroom facilities, including full English breakfast. The room was nice and warm and very clean with tea/coffee making facilities and I never had to wait to use the bathroom or shower. Just a couple of very minor criticisms, the room was very small and the breakfast was served on a cold plate so you had to eat it quickly if you like your food hot (but the bacon was cold anyway).

Very good hotel : very good relation between price and room. I was in a very, very, very small single room but for London, and for the price, it was OK. A little bit noisy but with "boules quiès", it was OK. Personnel was friendly. So, good hotel !!

very good value for money - small of course but to be expected - beautiful high ceilings. Nice welcome - maid came back to hoover room after we'd dropped our bags as room was available early -- one thing - check in on website gave one time and different from print out of Venere; very close distance to Euston Station (easy to walk) and will be easily accessible for new St Pancras as well. Nice pleasant walk to Russell Square tube station - went to theatre in Covent Garden and walked from tube to Euro after feeling very safe. Good walk to Brit Museum (beyond tube station) also enjoyable. Would definitely go back and recommend for this price range.

The Euro hotel was in a lovely tree-lined crescent not far from London Euston railway station. We arrived as a group early, and were allowed access to our room without any problem. The triple room we booked was spacious & airy with shared toilet/shower facilities on the same floor. The breakfast was very good with plentiful supplies of tea/coffee/toast. Excellent pubs and restaurants nearby. The British Museum was a short walk away with access to the nearest tube stop to explore further a field. Would recommend for short leisure breaks & value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located between Rusell Square and Euston, King's Cross and St. Pancras stations, in a very quiet area just off the main street, but my room was was tiny, less than 2m wide. No attached bathroom but I had breakfast included for what I paid (GDP55), and I'm glad that there is free internet access available.

The Euro Hotel lived up to all the excellent reviews it has already received on every count. Staff were friendly and accommodating, housekeeping was immaculate, and the location couldn't be better: 5 minutes' walk from any of three stations--Russell Square, Euston, and King's Cross/St Pancras (the new Eurostar terminal); equally close to the British Library, and maybe 10 minutes from the British Museum, with plenty of reasonable restaurants and handy takeaway shops nearby. Breakfast was excellent, tea/coffee in the room a big treat, and on top of all that my room overlooked the park, which offered not only a lovely green view but a daily dawn chorus and, at least once, a nightingale singing at dusk. I was travelling as a single middle-aged woman, but all the other guests seemed equally happy. I can't wait to go back.

Our party had 3 rooms at the Euro Hotel. Everyone was happy with their rooms, the location is very good, within easy walking distance of quite a few train stations, restaurants, etc., opposite a lovely little park and yet 'right in the middle' of London! I made the booking, so was very happy with my choice, as were my family travelling with me!
