Very helpful and friendly service and good location. A large shopping center (Westfield) and many restaurants were within walking distance of the hotel. Hotel was typical english house with narrow stairs and without elevator. Tip for showering: Shower faucet needs to be open and turned to the full left before the hot water starts run. If it doesn't work open and turn sink faucet full left as well ;) When you turn faucet full left water flow stops for a while but start soon.. very interesting system.

Small hotel in street full of similar houses converted to hotels. We had a room just under the roof and it was not so good. The roof was in fact slowly leaking and the walls are very tin, one night we even heard the neighbors snore. Also since we only had a small window in the roof there were no curtains nor darkening, giving an abundance of light in the morning. The street underneath is very busy with a police and fire station nearby giving loud sirens on all hours of the day and night. For the price asked it was ok, but it could have been better with a room on a lower floor and with some soundproofing. The breakfast was ok, not fancy but enough to have a good start of the day. Transport connection to the centre of London is perfect with 4 underground lines, the overground and national rail services all on 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

It was a very pleasant stay and in general the place is really ok with a good quality-price ratio. The staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. Despite the fact we arrived around 3am, they did not charge us for late check-in. Furthermore, before our arrival, they gave us directions for arriving at the hotel, relatively near the tube stations (Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith). In front of the hotel there is a bus station. The bad points were the fact that the breakfast room was too small for all the guests and the bathroom light didn't work. Nevertheless, I would reccomend you Dalmacia Hotel for your holidays in London.

Have visited London several times but the last visit was 7 years ago. That was my first experience staying at such kind of hotel. Very small rooms, twin room could be o.k. for one person, not for two. No place for the suitcases, no shelves to put your things on. Can be used for 1-2 nights, but not for 6 nights. The walls are very thin and you hear your neighbours talking and taking shower. The beds not comfortable for sleeping

Only a one night layover before flying out in the afternoon. Room was clean enough, but could have been cleaner. The towels were ridiculously old and tattered, as were the bed linens. If they invested in new linens, it would change the overall appearance and stay. Be prepared to carry your suitcase either up or down a flight of stairs.

We have been accomodated in a room for three people for three nights. We received a warm welcome. The hotel is well placed: it is a few minutes' walk away from the metro. The room was small, but comfortable. The bathroom was narrow. The hotel cleaning was good and accurate. The staff changed the towels every day. TV and wireless internet were good. There wasn't an elevator. The price/quality ratio is very good. In a future journey we will return to the Dalmacia Hotel.

I have been to London many times before. This hotel is conveniently located. The bus stop is 100 meters away. From here, one can connect to an major underground station: Picadilly or Central line - in record time. I stayed in a twin room. It was very quiet, since it is situated in the basement away from all street noises. It was very comfortable with nice, solid beds. The hotel is also en suite, which is exceptionally good for the price. The staff here are extremely friendly. They take a good deal of trouble to make the guests feel comfortable. They tell you everything you need to know. They also have high speed Internet in all the rooms, so that international communication is excellent. Breakfast was also good. I enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely come again. I would also highly recommend this hotel to my friends in Germany.

Me and my wife spent a very nice stay in this hotel. Services and stuff were perfect and effcient. I have to remark that I made a mistake in reservation on line (I booked a twin instead of a double) and I asked owners to change my room. Although there was no longer rooms available, they gave us a triple room with a double bed at the same price. Breakfast was good and plenty. The hotel is located in a quiet zone (Hammersmith) just in front of a bus stop and in ten minutes walk from hammersmith metro and bus station. I streactly reccomand this hotel those who are looking for a hotel with low budget in order to visit the centre of the world: London!

I was extremelly happy with my room for the price that I paid. The room was very clean and the staff were very nice and friendly. My room was located on the front of the hotel and the street was noisy with ememergency vehicles both nights I stayed in the hotel...however, that is not the fault of the owners. There were also several good restaurants and pubs located close to the hotel and there was a bus stop at the end of the block. For breakfast, I opted for the 'English Breakfast' which was significantly more than I normally eat and was well worth the price. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel and plan on staying there again in the future.

The owners of this tiny hotel are very nice & do as much as they can to make our stay comfortable. We had a room overlooking gardens therefore very quite.Nevertheless, I wonder how will London deal with 2012 Olympics as its hotel offer is extremely poor in those old 4 stories little town-houses converted into makeshift hotels at prices which are far above the price one should pay for such shabby places. Do not forget that the price quoted does not include a 3% surcharge for paying by credit card !!!!!

In pochi minuti ci è stata assegnata camera.

We found the manager and all the staff absolutely lovely. Our room was clean, the breakfast fabulous and the manager overwhelmingly accomodating. I had a family emergency taking place at home and my cell phone was not working. He let me use the hotel phone (as there are no room phones) since I had an international calling card. He also asked about my situation every time I saw him afterwards. Very compassionate. If you want a quiet room, do not get one in the front. There is a lot of street noise but that is to be understood, it is a busy street. It didn't bother my husband or myself as we are both pretty sound sleepers. I will not hesitate to book a room at the Dalmacia for my next visit to London. Very convenient to bus, tube, train and not far out of the main stream of things. There are nice restaurants surrounding the hotel and shopping not far, around 4 blocks away at Shepherds Bush Green, cinema as well. LOVED IT!

We are a family with two kids (15 and 18) and stayed a week in the two bedroom annex located near the Shepbards Bush tube station. The annex is located on peaceful side-street, a few hundred meters away from the busy main street with a a great number of grocery and fruit stores, pizzerias, restaurants, and a bakery. One of the grocery stores is open 24 hours a day. A huge mall, one of the biggest in Europe, is located within a walking distance. The suburb where the hotel is located is a colourful one with a multi-ethnic population, this creating an interesting contrast to the tourist areas in the center of the city. The hotel annex itself was an ordinary flat in the second floor of a British style row-house, equipped with everything a family needs like a stove, fridge, washing maschine, micro-wave oven, dish-washer, and tv. The furniture, mainly purchased from Ikea, was brand-new, and the apartment was in an excellent condition. There was even an 220 volt electric socket in the bathroom where we could charge our mobile phones. The owner of the place, who took us from the hotel to the annex in his car, was friendly and helpful. Perhaps the only disadvantage was that it took a while to get to the center and back (perhaps 30-45 minutes) since you usually had to make a transfer at Hammersmith. However, we did not mind since there was no need to go back to the downtown area in the evening since everything we needed was available at a close distance in Shephards Bush. Besides, the prices in the restaurants were considerably cheaper here that they would have been in the center. Thus I am happy to recommend the hotel for everyone and especially for families. We would definitely stay there again when visiting London the next time.

The street is very noisy so we urge everyone to ask for a room towards the inner yard. There is a police & fire station nearby so prepare to wake up a few times per night if your window is towards the street. One thing that I think they should tell in the reception is that the toilet has an own tank that refills itself, thus leading to the fact that you have to wait a short period (10 min) between flushing the toilet. The staff was really friendly, the breakfast good and the price/quality ratio also good.

Nice hotel, probably a good one, for London. However, I wouldn't rate it with 3-stars... It's rather a nice B&B, quite close to the Metro station (10 min.) The neighborhood might look strange at the beginning, but once that you're used to it (and with the frequent Police cars during the night) everything it's fine :). Probably I'll stay here again - it's a good trade-off quality/location/price (for London).

Niente fronzoli ma tanta sostanza. A cominciare dalle colazioni, pantagrueliche.

Our room turned out to be a spacious apartement with a top modern kitchen and a spacious living room. It was quite distant from the hotel. For us, that was not a problem since we had a rental car - it was actually better since we did not have any problem finding parking space. We felt very much at home and would recommend it to anyone. My best friend and our two twenty one year old daughters stayed in the very large basement apartment of the Dalmacia Hotel for two nights. We loved the apartment so much that we regretted we were not staying longer. Be aware that the apartment is in Loftus road about a 20 walk from the hotel but we were brought by car. From the moment we stepped through the front door we were knocked out. The photos on the web do not do justice. The place was immaculate with an en suite in both bedrooms and another toilet in the utility room. French doors led out into part of the garden where the next door's cat liked to welcome you. Wow from start to finish. A 10 minute walk to Shepard's Bush tube station to get to Oxford Circus. The Westfield (hugh) shopping centre also 10 minute walk. Next time we'll stay longer for sure. Thank you very much to the owners.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was always clean and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport. It's also within walking distance of the Westfield shopping centre. I'd stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

As a first time traveller, on my own to another country, I was really nervous how everything would be going. The welcome in the hotel was nice. The people were very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was very nice. A lot of stuff you can choose from. I did not spend that much time in the hotel itself but the time that I was there the people were very nice and helpfull. The only thing that I did not really like was that the room was smaller then it looked on the pictures. I guess because it was a different toom then that I saw on the pictures. But if you travel and you need a room in Hammersmith this is the hotel to take.

The hotel was very well-situated, only 10-12 minutes' easy walk from Hammersmith tube station. Hotel was non-smoking, although there were still some remaining vestiges of stale smoke from its pre-non-smoking days. Room was relatively quiet (at back of hotel, as requested), and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful. For London, this hotel is reasonably priced and well-located.

The apartment was perfect, very clean and comfortable. The underground was at 5 minutes walk. If I'll come back to London I'll choose Dalmacia again.

Very good, nice small hotel. Wi-Fi in all property. There are only two negative things. One is the noisy street, we recommend to prepare the small ear defenders on the bed table. The second is (for England not typical) warm weather so we recommend to install an air condition in the future.

The hotel room is very cramped and some of the fixtures in the bathroom quirky. Everything though was in working order. Breakfast was excellent. All in all, one should not complain, the room was very clean and London is a very expensive town for Americans these days.

Very clean and nice. We were 4 adults and 3 children staying in 2 rooms. The accomodations were perfect for us (clean, safe and freindly). We were a short subway ride to anywhere we wished to visit. We would stay at this hotel again.

We were looking for an aparment for 4 adults in London. The official list does not figure Dalmacia as an apartment. But after some search at Trip advisor we could find it out. The manager of the apartment was very helpful. The apartment was with two spacious rooms & a sitting room with reasonably sized kichenette. There were two toilets. The apatment was reasonably clean. The only problems with the apartment is that it lacks a reception. The reception is with the main Dalmacia hotel which is about 15-20 min. walking/4 bus stop away from the apartment. You will have to collect the keys from the main Dalamacia hotel. The manager was very helpful. He helped us with the luggage to be transferred to the annexe apartment in a car. My overall experience with this apartment is excellent & I recommend it to everybody with a family of four or to a group. It is the value for the money you pay.

We had a perfect apartment. It was very spacious wih two bedrooms, two bathrooms a livingroom and a kitchen. The neigbourhood it was in wasn't top of the bill, but it was 5 minutes walk from a subway station and there where some shops and (takeway)restaurants close by. The apartment wasn't inside the hotel, but several streets away from it. The owner of the hotel brought us with his car to the apartment so that was OK

The hotel complies with the description on the website, our room was clean and comfortable even though a bit noisy as it was on the main street side. Accessible, it is just 20 minutes from the center.

Camera 09.

Room N. 3 (first floor), paid 55 pounds/night through venere.com (the room prices posted inside the hotel seemed somewhat cheaper); it has two single beds. It's an overall small but nice hotel, with a good quality/price ratio. Rooms and baths are small, but very clean and well maintained (for instance towels changed every day). Room was quiet, with little noise from the street; though, from time to time there was some squeaking noise from the floors above. The english breakfast was especially rich and good, and the personnel quite friendly and helpful. I have only a couple of negative comments: first, the mattress was probably a cheap one, a little too firm and bumpy, thus not very comfortable; second, they charge 3% extra for paying with a credit card (while most hotels don't).

Very nice place to stay for a foreign visitor; As a typical london home, the location of the hotel is very near to a great tube station, from where you can arrive anywhere. Clean comfortable and familiar, Dalmacia hotel is something that we remark in our travel stories; "The hotel was fantastic!"
