We had a great five-night stay at the Ceasar. It's conveniently located just to the north of Hyde park, right between Notting Hill on one side and the shopping areas around Oxford street on the other. We were able to walk to many locations, saving us an underground ticket and allowing us to discover nice areas of the city that we wouldn't otherwise have seen. Nice, clean rooms with great beds and service very nice. Bathrooms a little lower quality than rest of room but clean and quite ok. Breakfast not included and we didn't try it because it was pretty steep at £14-£17. Quiet area but not devoid of life. Would definitely stay here again!

My granddaughter and I found the Caesar to be welcoming and a quiet oasis from the crowds of London. They had assigned us a double although our venere confirmation said twin, which is what we reserved, and the person at the desk worked hard to find an available room. We ended up with a triple, so we had our own beds. The only problem we had was with the internet service. When I asked to purchase it for the two days, the desk person said we had an hour of free internet service each day. That was all we needed to check in with family, so we went with that. The information on it said we could go on and off for that time - it didn't have to be one hour straight. I logged off to stop the clock, but when we tried to get back on later, we got a message that our time had expired. Maybe I misunderstood something, but we ended up just paying for the service for the last 24 hours and it was fine. Loved the sophisticated decor and luxurious bedding.

Be carreful with your belongings ! 4 pieces of clothes disappeared from our bedroom in this hotel last December, while we were visiting the town ; the manager of the hotel refused to reimbursed us , because things were not left in a safe; so, please, do ask the hotel to keep all your shoes, clothes, suitcases etc...in a safe !!unless, they may disappear...

Well, I was there from DEC 2/08 and I spend 8 days with my sister and her friend, location was very good only 7 mins walk to queens way station, The hotel is clean and decoration is really cool, the heater was good and room service is excellent, the environment is really comfortable, only the room is small but it shouldn’t be a prob as you are going to move a lone inside the room (my sis and her friend were making fun of each other when they move inside the room, because for double it’s quite tight.) Breakfast is a bit expensive but there many cafeteria and glossary store 5 mins walk Generally was excellent and I really don’t mind to come again or recommend it for any body else. Salman Cheers

I found the Caesar Hotel to be a very pleasant hotel. Certainly by London standards it was good value for money. The location was very convenient with a bus stop at the end of Leinster Terrace and the Queensway Tube station just a few minutes walk away. I really liked the modern decor of the hotel. My single room was small but had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast was substantial. Overall I would recommend the Caesar and would definitely stay there again.

The Caesar hotel was obviously undergoing works in the public areas which obviously detracted to some extent but didn't interfere at early hours or late on. I was a little dissapointed that having upgraded to the luxuary room the breakfast choice wasn't totally inclusive i.e. the full English was still extra. Having said that the buffet breakfast was more than adequate - good coffee! Excellent location max 10 minute walk from Paddington railway & underground so the rest of London is very accessable.

They placed us in a handicap room on ground floor when we had bookde family room. They did not want to give discount or anything as compensation. Third night of four they wanted to us new room. Long que every morning of 15 min. for breakfast. We have a daughter living in London nearby and travel often to London but I am not sure that we will stay there again. It's so typical that when you check in as a lady they give you the worst room. The second evening my husband came and they immidiately were interested in changing rooms. We are not handicapped yet and would like compensation through you. Regards, Kerstin Landgren, Sweden

The Caesar has spent money upgarding its rooms since we last stayed there. They are though very small with little room for baggage. Everything worked though and was very clean. Staff although generally competent were not familiar totally witht eh English language which can be a bit frustrating when trying to discuss a problem or an issue.

I spent 3 nights at The Ceasar. The hotel has an excellent location, close to 3 underground stations. The hotel is in good shape, refurbished and clean. Compared to other hotels I stayed at in London Ceasra's facilities and quality was by far the best. The room was small (1 bed room), but this is normal in London. The last time I stayed in London I had an even smaller room. So with London standards room-size was O.K. The furniture in the room was smart - they desigend it in a way that perfectly matched the size of room and helped to feel it a bit more spacious (eg having LCD TV on the wall). The room was perfectly clean, just like the bathroom. Noise level was acceptable, though noises from the corridor could be heard perfectly (almost felt like comin from my room). Though on Venere.com it is marked 4 starn hotel, the Ceasar claims to be a 3* superior one. Breakfast is not included in the Venere price! Compared to the price I paid (92 EUR/night) this is hte best quality and value for money I got in London so far.

The best about this hotel is that it was recently refurbished in good taste modern style and everything is new, clean and fresh, which is surprise when compare to other stuffy London hotels. I got a double room facing onto square. It was perfectly clean, serviced every day, very nice good quality modern decor(LCD tv, etc), spotless bathroom with comfortable shower (fits 2), high water pressure. The streets are quiet, the view through the window is on to a small park and well kept buildings, its one of nicest London areas. Really nice and helpfull staff. Everything was OK. I like this place and recommend!

Rooms are small but serviceable, tastefully decorated (modern, kitsch-free), and nonsmoking. Smoking is allowed in the small lobby, though. Front desk was helpful and very responsive when I asked to move away from the elevators to a quieter room--no street noise, but the doors are thin. WiFi is a substantial extra charge. Breakfast was good but not included in the Venere price.

While the double room was large and spacious (it was the a disabled room). The single room was very small, but that's quite often the case in London. Buffet breakfast was adequate, was not what I would normally class as a continental breakfast. Whitelys "store" is close by and has a range of restuarants within it, and is close to Baywater tube station. I would recommend the Hotel and would use it again.

The hotel was in a great neighborhood. It's less than a mile, and a very easy walk, from Paddington station, which is where the Heathrow Express comes into London. Bayswater is becoming much more happening, so there are plenty of places to eat, as well as all necessary services. We fell right into a neighborhood vibe, like we had lived there for years. The hotel itself was great. Rather hip, modern finishings that were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, seemed quite competent, and were willing to help us in any way possible. The rooms were very clean, and relatively quiet. They are small, but if you're there to see London, you'll never notice, since you'll only be sleeping there. I would definitely stay at The Caesar again, given it's great location and moderate pricing.

The hotel is clean, modern has a good location, staff is friendly and well educated, but overall, I expected a bit more for a 4**** hotel, rooms are very small, no aircon, no bathroom standard equipment (shower gel, toothpaste, sanitary bags etc.). I required a quiet room during my check-in and received the first room right next to the main entrance. I am travelling often to Asia Pacific and have a different understanding of room quality in view of 4**** hotels. Far too expensive.

I did like the interior with exception of the bed linen. I do not like the way just to cover the blanket with a sheet - I do always look for hotels that offer fully covered blankets. Besides that I had an extremely small room I could not even open my suitcase properly - because the only space available was the one in front of the bed and then I had only 5 cm left between bed and suitcase and this made it difficult to move around in the room.

Despite having a small groundfloor room I suppose the Caesar represented reasonable value for midweek (compared to the normally expensive central London). Nice safe part of the City between Bayswater and Paddington but not much to see nearby. The 10 minute walk to the underground was not ideal but just bearable. Received confirmation e-mail OK and service from Venere.com was therefore fine (as usual).

The room was really lovely, though compact, very modern and clean. Spotless bathroom and bedroom. A large comfy bed and nice decor, as well as good amenities. The only thing on the downside is if you are veggie (as we both are) there isn't much to have in the restauarant. But hey, its London, there's loads of places to eat. Also situated in a very nice area, and you can walk into town through the park. Overall, excellent value for money, I will definitely go back here.

The fire exit doors are very noisy and slam with a big bang and it is not possible to close them quitely. Do not expect to sleep well in the early mornings or before midnight if you are close to one. As the elevators are extremly slow, people tend to use the stairs rather than the elevators which increases the problem.

The reception area would have been really nice if there hadn't been two pails placed to catch water dripping from the ceiling. Check in went quick. The first room was a disapointment. The facilities were modern (huge new TV) and of 4 Star standard but it was barely bigger than the bed and there was only a tiny window just under the ceiling which couldn't even be opened! No Aircon. We complained but couldn't get another room because the hotel was fully booked, but were promised that our things would be moved automatically during the following day to another room. We were also offered a fan but we had to remind the reception twice about it till it finally came. The next room was perfect: big window (which could be opened) and a bath tub. The breakfast by far exceeded expectations. The location was superb. The price is including breakfast and VAT which wasn't stated in the confirmation Email.

We had a ground floor room, which was located above the kitchen area. Once work started in the kitchen, the volume of the ever-present PA music in the hotel, went up in the kitchen. And to a much loder level than acceptable. It woke us at 6 in the morning, and lastest till 11 at night. It was like having a radio on at mediumvolume in your room, but not finding it or being able to turn it off. When we complained to the managment about it after the first night, they at first didn't believe us, but when we insisted they reluctantly agreed to move our belongings (which we packed) to another room later that day. Upon returning they of course had not moved us and we were still in the same room. Another battle at the front desk, and then we were finally given a key to the last available room. Which was about the size of a cupboard and swamped with cigarette smoke. Back at the front desk they told us the whole hotel held a strict non-smoking policy. Yeah, right! So we decided to spend a second night in our same room after all, PA-music included free of charge. The on this site mentioned complimentary bottle of wine is also non-existent. Never again at these rates!
