Great hotel!!! Location was great -5 min walk from tube & bus tour of London. Hotel staff were fantastic at accommodating us as we switched from 1 to 2 ppl staying. The breakfast was delicious & included in the price with great service! Very clean & felt safe, being only women staying. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in London!

The hotel is located perfectly just 200 meters from Baker Street Station. It's in a very quiet street. But I got a room on the ground floor, which ment I could hear EVERYTHING that happened in the reception. If I ever am to return to The Blandford I will insist on getting a room on another floor than the ground floor.

This is a cozy hotel in a very good location. However, the room was so small that we barely have the place to put our luggage. The heater did not work well and the room was very cold until we had to ask for an extra heater that the staff promptly provided. Sometimes there was no warm water at the tap, and when showering one needs to wait for some time for the warm water to come. Breakfast was very good, with superb service. There should be free internet access.

We were satisfied with our holidays in London and at Blandford Hotel. Allright rooms as expected, maibe a bit noisy at night with open window. Ok breakfast. The facilities in our bathroom were in perfect order and clean. We can recommend the Hotel for families and couples.

The Blandford was our 6th (and final) hotel of a 17-day European vacation. The hotel is very conveniently located to the Baker Street Tube station. There didn't seem to be a lot to do in the immediate vicinity - had I been more familiar with London, I probably would have selected a hotel in a different neighborhood to have better walking access to restaurants and pubs. The breakfast was plentiful, with pleasant servers. The room was small but adequate. There was quite a lot of street noise so we had to close the windows to sleep. Wireless access is £7.50 for a 24-hour period. I thought that was expensive as we had free wireless access at 4 of our other hotels. The front desk staff was very helpful with booking tours and transportation. Overall, the hotel was adequate for our needs. I did think it was expensive for the room and services provided, but that may just be the weak dollar talking. I didn't have any specific problems, but the location was not ideal (my fault for not researching more completely).

The staff is very kind and competent. The rooms are too little but clean and full of all you need. The position is very good. Baker Street Tube Station is at the end of the street. Breakfast is very poor and there is not a large choice of food. The price (140 pound per night in a twin room) is honest because the hotel is in a very elegant way and is in the centre of London.

Very nice play, where to stay in the center of London, for a reasonable price (for London). Good breakfast, the room very clean, even if small..

Although the room (11) was very small,(we couldn't open the suitcase but on the bed)we quickly found out that everything else was super. The Bathroom appliances worked all perfect, fresh towels everyday as well as bed sheets. All very clean. SAT TV, hair dryer, ironing board, coffemaker in room. The breakfast was very nice, a good choice even for non English. Good service. People at the reception were very helpful. So after a few days we almost felt like home. The o n l y negative thing that occured was when we checked out. We ordered a taxi at the reception to bring us to the train station. After some time a private car was coming and we were charged twice as much as on our way to the hotel by public taxi. Altogether we would definitely go there again, the location is just excellent. Underground and busses to all directions are around the corner. Small restaurants and pubs are nearby. The narrow Chiltern Street does not have much traffic, almost none during night time.

We book a family room, in the web was told 1 double bed and 2 sigle beds, and we got 2 double beds (one smoller than the other), with no place for suitcases, neither for having seat all the 4 of us. Really small, but the employees were very kind. The door didn't close properly and make a noise every time someone opened or closed a door.

Very nice hotel indeed. From here you can in fact walk to all major surroundings and tourist attractions in London! The rooms are small, but clean with ok bath/toilet. However do change your room if you get one with an inadequate sliding door to the toilet... All in all, we highly recommend this hotel :-)

It was perfect with Baker Street station so close (200m) where 4 different subwaylines took you almost everywhere in London. Many shops and restaurants nearby (on Marleybone High Street). Can recommend the Giraffe for families. Madame Tussauds is about 400m frm the hotel.

My wife and I planned to take our 11 year old granddaughter to Madame Tussauds. We were pleased to find a hotel close by that offered a triple room as this has often been a problem. Although the room was small (we knew this already from reading the reviews)it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and obliging; cheerfully giving us directions to nearby restarants and bus stops, maps of bus routes and additional tea/coffee supplies. The area is quiet and well placed for underground and bus routes; with a large car park further down the street

Excellent breakfast!!! Close to the tube. We chose this hotel partly because of its location close to the London Planetarium. When we arrived we found out it (the Planetarium) had been moved to Greenwich three years ago. Nice, tiny hotel lacking space but full of comfort and warmth.

But after all the money was released. The Crew was very nice and helpful. Highly recommened!

I arrived way before check in time after a 24 hour flight from Australia. I was given a room virtually immediately which was really appreciated. My husband and I stayed at the Blandford for 2 nights in late October. It is in a great position very near Baker Street tube, walking distance from both Regents Park and Oxford street. Lots of varied places to eat nearby. We had an early morning surprise when the fire alarm went off, but that din't spoil our stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definately stay here again.

Great location - maybe 200 yards from Baker St station and even closer to bus stops. OK, the room was small: all London hotel rooms are and you don't go to London to play indoor baseball. The Queen size bed was a bonus, the breakfast more than adequate and having air-conditioning was a real plus. On the downside, my room had a light on outside all night (I think it was all night - it didn't keep me awake). All round, I was very satisfied, slept like a baby, was able to skip lunch because of the breakfast and I appreciated the quiet location. I was in London for a college reunion but stayed at the Blandford for 2 nights before it started so that I could be conveniently located for where I wanted to go.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms (although a bit on the small side; typical London hotels I guess). Overall this is a wonderful hotel. The air conditioning works really well and my parents didn't complain about anything! Just a short walk to Baker tube station, you can practically see the station from the front door of the hotel. The price are reasonable, considering the location. A little tips if you take a taxi to get here: just tell them you're going to the Sherlock Holmes hotel (which is straight-facing Blandford hotel). Coz the taxi driver I went with didn't know this hotel... yet.
