the staff was not very kindly. the breakfast was poor. they ask you 2,5 £ for each bag deposited after the check-out. the positive condition is the cheap price for a room near some main city attraction. for just sleeping this hotel is not very bad, but if you are searching for some more...CHANGE HOTEL!!!!

Amazing location! close to the tube and a lot of the major sights. and now to the bad... windows wouldn't stay closed. London in November can get pretty cold so this was an issue. At least they had a space heater in the room because the radiator wasn't working. I don't think it's the smallest room I've ever stayed at but the functionality of the space used was pretty poor. Probably received my worst value for money at this place on the whole European extravaganza.

Our first view into our room was of a shoe box propping the window open. There was no hot water for two of our three nights. I was told to "let the water run for 10 or 15 minutes". That might have worked, had the drain allowed all that water to leave the shower, but it did not, so the water came out of the shower. And the hot water never came. After our cold showers, there was no bath mat for dripping cold water out of the shower. The sink faucet was attached to the sink by only a bead of caulk. This meant that it was very difficult to turn off the water at all, so it dripped or ran constantly. The TV was located near the ceiling,in an unwatchable location from anywhere in the room, unless you stood on the bed in the corner. No remote control was supplied. However, it did not turn on when we reached up to try it, so this didn't really matter anyway. On the up side, the staff was very helpful when we had questions about the area. However, when asked to call a taxi for us, they instead called a limo that cost twice as much.

The room was very little, only for one person, not for two, you could her all noises from all other room, especially from the bathroom, the bathroom was not a room, but a very little container in the room and the toilet had not a cover. The roomservice change the towels, but the new towels was very dirty. The whole hotel need a complete renovation. The breakfastroom ist dirty and too small.

The photographs on the site did not correspond to the reality at all. We had a room uncomfortable, the window was closed but we could feel the wind and the cold. Holes in the sheets, electrical cables falling from the ceiling. A very dilapidated room (N° 5)

The room is very small and the bathroom also, but if you compare prices with other hotels in London you won't find anything cheaper and for the price it is a good choice. The location near Victoria Station is very good and each room has its own bathroom. If you are going to be out all day you don't need anything else, so the room for this use is more than enough. About breakfast, it's ok. You can have coffee or tea, cereals and toasts. From my point of view, it is a hotel with a good quality-price relation talking about what you can find in London.

I booked a double room and they didnt have my booking registered, but they luckily had a family room available for the same price. Just as well. The map they provided was quite confusing, so we got lost the first time we tried our way to the hotel. The ensuite facilities were tiny, they had a toilet, a shower and a washbasin crammed in two square metres. It was physically imposible for two people to be there at the same time, and a big person would find it very difficult to have a shower there. The breakfast was really poor, and the breakfast times you could find on a paper in the room werent the real ones. On Sunday morning, we arrived in the breakfast room at 10 am (the paper in our room said that breakfast was served until 10.30 on Sundays) and they didnt serve us because apparently breakfast finished at 10 everyday, so it was too late for us. All in all, if I go to London again, I'll never think of booking a room in that hotel again!

We booked and paid for room with english breakfast but upon arrival were told we could only have continental unless we let them extort another £3.50 each. The room was terrible, curtains all hanging off rails and bed covers stained and badly torn also carpet in horrible state. After finding second creepy crawly we opted to sleep on top of bed rather than in it ! Breakfast was ok after we made it to front of que and recieved it ! My opinion -- AVOID

very small bedroom for 3 bedrooms. we only have had continental breakfast (very average quality) and not english breakfast. We all the same wanted to try this english breakfast, for which we were charged 3 Pounds, and it was no good. In fact we were disappointed, first the photos on internet were very different to our room, and we were expecting much better quality service for the price we paid.

The room we had was different than the picture we saw on the internet. The room was not very clean, and I don't even think the sheets we had were clean, nor did they change them the entire week we stayed there. I had trouble getting the breakfast the description said I was supposed to. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the description of the hotel in the internet did not correspond to the real conditions at all. "Well designed and newly decorated rooms; high standard of cleanliness and maintenance": if this does mean that the curtains are torn out, the ceiling is full of mildew, the floor is completely stained, that you wish you wore gloves when touching the blanket, that the shower doesn't work - then they are right, I guess! All in all not recommendable.

Not a pleasant one night stay and I would not go there again. At the time of reservation, I requested a quiet room off the street and this was completely ignored on arrival. So we ended up with a very noisy room. The room was a little shabby and I expected a bit better. They sold us two train tickets from Victoria station to Gatwick but didn't caution us that there is more than one train service to Gatwick, which I never suspected. We boarded the wrong train and now have two useless tickets. My email request to return the tickets for a refund has been ignored. It appears they don't care about customer satisfaction.

The Indian owner of the premises had an opinion against chinese and he is vocal about it when I am checking in (I am Chinese of course). That got into my nerve and I must say I did not had good rest the night I was there and shall not stay in the same Hotel again. (The good thing was that he sure got me checking out very early the next morning) The fact that it is very difficult for me to change to another Hotel during that busy tourist season (and my short stay) made me stay in that Hotel. In case next time any Hotel owner has a view against any race (I suppose that wasn't the case but was shocked to realize it does exsits)dose not welcome a particular nationalities, why don't they put that up on their web info so that both parties do not have to go through the same difficulties we went through.

Former town houses converted into a B&B. Reasonably cheerfully decorated and reasonable quality furnishing in the rooms. Everything worked. Sink, WC, shower, hot water. Could be cleaner though. There is only coffee whitener powder stuff in the rooms so buy milk if you want a drink of tea. Breakfast was served later than my departure time, so no breakfast for me. However, it is close to Victoria and Ok for the night.
