We thougt it was a special offer, 79 punds sterling per night, but now we know why! At arrival we were shown to the basement and the tiniest room you could ever imagine. My Fiancee is 193 cm, and the bed was app. 10 cm too short for him. Was told it was the only room available. We stayed as the area was really nice and concluded, that we wouldn´t stay much time in the room anyway, as we only had 2½ days in london. I believe this room is the only one not shown at the webpage/the pics are of rooms of a different standard.

Horrible Hotel. Horrible and very noisy rooms in the basement. I had a terrible temperature and they didn't even call me a doctor. Very small rooms. TV doesn't work. Too expensive respect the price paid. Employees not serious. Don't go eating in the restaurant of the Hotel.

I would recommend this hotel enthusiastically to my friends, but I would tell them the cons as well as the pros: Pros: Neighborhood is great. Two tube stations (on two different lines) nearby, many little restaurants and pubs and shops. Close to Paddington Terminal (but not walking distance). Nice pub attached to the hotel. Cons: Rooms are quite small and a bit dated. Plumbing was a bit funky (hard to regulate hot/cold balance). Elevator jammed when we were trying to depart with heavy suitcases. This is a typical London structure -- hotel fit into a series of row houses. The last remodeling of the guest rooms was done a couple of decades ago. As such it has the disadvantages of all such structures -- small rooms, creaky floorboards, funky plumbing. But it is well managed and clean and the price is right. In this category of lodging, it is certainly a winner. P.S. The price asked for Internet access, at 15 quid a day, is outrageous. There is an internet cafe around the corner.

I stayed in London for 6 days. Excellent location, a two minutes walk and you're in Queensway, full of shops and restaurants. It's also near to Kensington Gardens and just a few minutes from 2 subway stations leading to Notting Hill/Portobello Road or to central London in 10 minutes. Good hotel, clean, like the room and the bathroom. But very small bathroom, and on 3 nights hot water was missing. Luckily the hotel staff was very kind and ready to solve the problem.

The hotel was very nice. The staff where very welcoming and polite. The location was very good plenty of places to eat. The only thing I would say is the room was quite small but this was okay as we only stayed two nights. The room was clean and presented nicely. The bathroom looked a little dated decoration wise.

Very nice stay. we got a more beautifull room as the one showed on the web, it was totally renovated and with plasma tv :) the location is good as well, just 5 minuts walking distance from the bayswater tube station. the staff was nice, especially the housekeeping, we had a problem with a window which didnt lock, they were ready to help us and they fixed it immediately, and offered us free newspapers as a sign of goodwill. we will return to this property for our next travel in london!

Very nice hotel, very nice and helpful staff, wonderful location, with 2 tube lines and many restaurants and bars nearby. room is ok, but we were given two separate beds, this would be the only complaint. although high above London standards, bathroom is very small, but at least it's private. ah, and you gotta get up early if you don't want to miss the elevator!!!

Try out the toilet facilities in basement, excellent! The Hotel is situated near by Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations (Circle and Central), coveniant for travelers from Standsted.

It was the first time to Berjaya. I stayed in a double room, it was quite small but clean also the bathroom was small, but for a little stay it's ok. The breakfast is ok. Very very near to bayswater underground station (circle line) and queensway undergrund station (central line). The area is very quite and you can visit kensington gardens that are at the end of the hotel's street (Inverness terrace).

We ask for another room and of course they weren't any left except on the underground. I visited these "underground rooms" whitouht any lignt ... they are very depressing ! This hotel is really too expensive !

Price/quality the result must be >1 because of high price and not so high quality. This was ouor first stay in Berjaya Eden Park, we got a room above the climatisation center with noise and air from the kitchen. We could change the room that was better. our daughter was in a room where the climatisation produced heat if she wanted or not.

This hotel is a great deal better than you might expect, in view of the reasonable price by London standrds. Very well situated, queit and smart. Excellent decor and room condition. Single rooms very small but thoughtfully equipped _ single rooms atb single prioces are difficult to find, and this hotel is a bargain in that sense. Very nice breakfast included - no hot food, but very adequate and a nice dining room and lounge bar area. Friendly and competent staff. Altogether a good hotel

Very good situated near the tube station and the main shopping/food/drink area. Very good service and cleaning at the hotel, and good space in the breakfast room. Also good food. There were some noise from other room/stairs et.c, looked like it came from the floor. The room could have been a bit larger.

This was a terrible experience for me. I had booked through other agencies and had stayed at Glasgow Marriott and Crown Plaza earlier. For Crown Plaza I paid a little heavy amount as I booked it for 1 night that too at the last moment due to a missed flight. But prior to this I had stayed at a similar hotel at Bayswater (about 3-4 minutes walk from Berjaya Eden Park). But compared to that experience this was terrible. The rate paid there was much lower. I chose this hotel this time as it was nearer by 2-3 minutes walk time to the tube station of Bayswater. There was no bath tub and the shower space was so small that I could hardly fit in. The room was on the top most floor and the lift was so small that it could fit in 2 people at the most. The lift made terrible noises when it moved. I think it might be my last stay with this hotel.

Very good choice, especially the convenient location for Paddington and Hyde Park. We were lucky enough to be able to check in very early (11am instead of 2pm!) so our stay got off to a flying start, and I was very pleased with the quality of the room for London. Another bonus is that the hotel bar stays open to 1am - perfect if you're not brave enough to venture too far away from the hotel. Only downside was the tiny lift and narrow stairs, but certainly not enough of a problem to prevent a revisit. I will definitely stay here again.

The price/quality ratio for London hotels is very good. Also the space in the room is good for London. To have twin beds instead of double bed is better, because the double bed is a little bit to small but it will do for only a couple of nights. The breakfast buffet is excellent and for some pounds more you can ugrade to bacon and eggs or full English breakfast. Only the English of the staff is sometimes a little bit poor but they are always friendly. There is a restaurant in the hotel with decent prices for dinner but there are also a lot of restaurants round the corner.

Easy to access at the Bayswater underground. Easty to access the Air Express station when you don't want to carry a big luggage up and down stairs in the underground. The room rate is reasonable.

Clean & well located, but room was painfully small, with the bathroom so small I had to open the door to sit on toilet. no option when booking on line for single occupancy of double room, for which I would have happily paid a supplement. We were very dissapointed with such a small room, the smallest in the hotel, other double rooms were larger and some even double the size and certainly not worth the amount we paid.
