Belmont Hotel - London

On the positive side on can say that the room was very spacious, we had a room with three separate beds. Also, the breakfast was O.K. Now to the negative points: The towels have not been changed daily. The windows were not tight, so there was always some draught of air close to the windows which was very unpleasant, especially during the night. The telephones in the rooms are only to receive calls; it is not possible to make outside calls. THIS IS A NO-GO!

Chambre extrèmenent petite avec salle de bains ridicule (il s'agit donc d'une "suite"). La propreté est plutôt douteuse, le ménage n'étant pas fait de la semaine. Seuls les draps et serviettes sont changés au bout de 4 jours. Pas de savon ni de champpoing pour la douche, mieux vaut prévoir à l'avance. Surtout prévoir aussi son moyen de paiement: dès l'arrivée, on vous prévient que le prix demandé est pour un règlement en liquide. Pour les cartes banquaire c'est 3% plus cher. Le comble, c'est le patron qui vient vous voir au cours du petit déjeuner quelques jours avant le départ en vous réclament de payer rapidement, et si possible en cash évidemment (tandis que nous avions effectué le paiement la veille par CB).

Good location. Room was bad but acceptable. Staff was average.

Horrible experience!!! The photos have nothing to do with the reality!!! nasty,horrible twin room,no towels,no soap,old terrible furniture,the windows couldn't be opened,the guy from the little reception seemed annoyed we wanted some towels,he told is not his problem,but he charged my card before showing me the room...everything was very depressing there,so we were happy we didn't book more than 3 days;I really felt like in prison there;don't go there,you can find much better on the same price,even on the same street.The only good thing was the water pressure and it was clean.

Albergo con stanze piccole, ma accogliente e pulito. La posizione è ottima, la colazione è decente. Unica nota negativa la direzione applica un sovrapprezzo del 3% al pagamento con cata di credito al momento dell'arrivo.

For the price you get exactly what you should expect. A bit weary, basic room with no extras. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, shower had warm water and beds were ok. What else you should expect for this price?

Room was quite small but satisfactory. Towells were not changed at all during our 4 night stay and stayed damp and on one occasion placed on the beds still damp. The position was very convenient to transport and shops.

i am frenc we have take one room for 4 persons i thinks for the place and quality it was very correct and good the bathroom was little small but clean i recommanded it

The room was way smaller than it was shown on the photo I guess they used a wide angel photolens We could enjoy the exploits of the other guests ( you can fill that in for yourself) The location was ecxelently situated for access with public transport.

We stay one week: the rooms are really small (I measured 20 square meters including bathroom!), but well cleaned and quiet. There are no public areas, just the very small reception room. It was not indicated that from the phone in the room you cannot make calls, just receive them. The breakfast was good but not exceptional: just eegs, toast and bacon. The employees are kind and helpfulness. The surrounding area is quiet, with many restaurants, some pubs and many stores; moreover is well close the subway and bus stops. The price is ok, so in conclusion I'd recommend this hotel... if you are not too tall!!!

The hotel is rated to be a *** hotel, but i would rate it as a *. We got a room in the celler, which was supposed to be a double suite, and we got a double room, but with two seperated beds. The room was very noisy, because of the people living above us, who we actually thought was elephants. In the wall by the beds, there was a waterpipe clicking all the time, it was very irritating. In a week we didnt get fresh towels, and in the end of the week there started coming antz in the bathroom. I dont think the hotel is living up to what it should, and it is defently not living up to its price!
