apart from the fact that there was no lift and we were on the top floor our room (family) did what we needed it to do,the stairs were a lot easier going down than up lol especially after a day of trailing around the sights. the staff were really helpful,if you go expecting a full english brekky its cereal juice & tea/coffee, not a sniff of bacon anywhere but you can have toast. overall i would go back again as its really handy for victoria and the tube is 5 mins away.

Spartan. No toilet in singole rooms, no decent way to lock room's window. However, at £ 40 per night near Victoria station, good value for money; room clean. Very good for students or turist on a tight budget. Breakfast self-service & uninpressive. I advise eating at the Victoria Arcade, a five-minute walk.

Small room for four people. Quite dirty; no towels. On my arrival, alone (waiting for my family to come later) with three pieces of luggage, nobody from the reception offered any help to "climb" to the top floor! Positive: location convenient for Victoria Station (7/8 minutes walk), breakfast not bad. Ok for the cheap price (4 people 70 pounds, but please, CLEAN THE CARPET and the duvets!)

Definitivamente volveria a hospedarme ahi.

Although I reserved this hotel in Venere.com, they didn`t confirm my reservation. The location is great, but breakfast was very poor, for there were only cornflakes and some slices of bread sold in a supermarket. In addition all other facilities are about to be broken.

Alles in allem echt empfehlenswert!

It's excellent if you want somewhere close to victoria underground/train/coach stations without being too noisy. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The only things I didn't like was the size of the breakfast room (v.v. small!) and sometimes the bathroom for the top levels could do with a bit more attention. Otherwise quite good for the price.

The hotel was just a few blocks from Victoria station which was a big + for me since I like to get around fairly easy. I'm pleased with the location and the quality of the hotel. Since the prices are low I didn't expect anything too fancy, just a bed and some tea in the morning.

A good Hotel to spend nights if You are planning to visit london and stay out the whole day. Good choice for Young people who are not interested in more than a bed to sleep. Maybe 2 stars are way more than deserves as far as rooms and services but the overall feeling is good an the enployees are kind and at Your disposal for anything. I would not suggest it to families with childrens, but I suggest it to pairs and young tourists. If I had to spend another week-end in London I would easily stay there again!

Despite arriving after 3pm, my room still wasn't ready. I returned to still have to haul my luggage up the stairs with no offer of help, despite being a woman travelling alone. The proper thing to do would have been to put it in my room for me, seeing as I had to wait upon my arrival. Online says breakfast was included but no one made any mention of it and there was no public dining area. The floors above my head creaked very loudly and the walls are relatively thin. The bathroom facilities are shared, but it is just one toilet/shower for five or six people, so if someone is taking a shower in the morning, you can't use the toilet. Good thing there was a sink in the room because I was bursting. PS. Bring your own towel as none are provided.

The best feature of the hotel is that it is within easy walking distance of Victoria Station, a theater showing "Wicked," and Buckingham palace. Less desirable: it was cramped with the narrow entryway plugged with baggage as we arrived and fought through it. We stayed for 3 nights--if we wanted a fresh towel, that was an additional charge of one pound each towel. The vanity lights and hairdryer in the bathroom did not work. We were put in a basement room under the managing family's living quarters, and the first night they had a visitor who raved from around 9:00 to 10:30 pm. He spoke a language I don't recognize--something from Pakistan or India--and the anger/hatred in his voice was off the charts. It sounded like much, much worse than having had a bad day, and soon there was no reply to him from above but only his raving. This was only one night and the rest of my exhausted family slept through it, but it made me feel quite uncomfortable for the remainder of the stay.

I stayed one night at the Bakers Hotel. It's situated relatively close to Victoria station. It will take you 10 - 15 minutes to get there. Yet a bit exhausting with bulky/heavy luggage. It wasn't exactly a warm welcome and the first thing I was asked was to fill in the form and to pay. But my requests were accommodated, e.g. my travel documents were put in a safe at the reception. The room was basic but clean and the mattress comfortable. I can't say anything about breakfast since I prefer to have breakfast at e. g. Starbuck's when I'm in London. I had been to three other budget hotels before and the Bakers Hotel has definitely been the best one so far and I would stay there again. The location is fine and central and it's good value for money.

The room was on the top of two steep staircases and the bathroom on the middle floor which made it a bit complicated to reach, especially at night.. the room was also very tiny and a bit old looking, the bathrooms on the floors were newly refurbished though and clean.Breakfast was served in the room by the staff very early in the morning and wasn't exceptional and there was always a smell of curry all along the floors.... I would recommend this place if you need a place to stay just to sleep and are not fussed about many comforts and extras. If you want to go around the city and just have a cheap place to crash this is probably good.

Regarding the map - your maps are not incredibly detailed. We missed a turn, and walked for a while before finding the right street. You may want more explicit directions (that match what street signs one can see on the street). Our biggest concern was the breakfast, where we were hand-served toast with several spots of mold.

Don't expect much for that price, but the hotel is in convenient and safe location, the breakfast is ok and the rooms are clean. For that price, it's an excellent find.

Everything appeared as shown on your webpage. Clean Rooms and toilets, comfortable beds and very nice employees. It was really worth the money. I recommend this Hotel to everyone who wants to stay in London for a fair price.

For my one-night stay over this place was ideal. My single room had 2 twins and a double, making it a bit crowded, and the tiny bath down the hall was just adequate for a hot shower. No towels were provided, though, as you probably have to ask - I had my own. The bed was comfortable, and noise wasn't a big problem. Being in a nice neighborhood near Victoria Station made the layover from Gatwick to Heathrow a breeze.

Basically all of us are satisfied with this B&B, the price is reasonable and good location. However, it seems that nobody told me that the toilet is not in the room. Lucky my family didn't complain about it as it's quite clean.

This hotel is worth the 30 lbs per night and no more. It is a clean, comfortable place to sleep. Make sure you ask for towels when you are checking in and use the showers on the second floor! The breakfast is 1 hard boiled egg, 2 slices of toast, coffee/tea and butter/marmalade. The location is ideal because it is a nice walk to Victoria station (which is where the airport express comes into, the bus station is, and also the underground).

The room was very small for four people. As there were no chairs and table in the room it was difficult to have breakfast there. But if you need a cheap stay and just want to sleep there, it's OK.

They were still undergoing painting. There was no public space available & the room was quite small. It would be nice to have a towel provided. Staff was polite. Room freahly painted but needed vaccuuming. I think they were just struggling with their update.

The room was very clean and had a very clean and modern shared shower facilities (one per floor). The bed had no top sheet, just a comforter which probably was not washed. The location was very good near Victoria Station. For such an expensive city this was a fairly good choice (there are also many other hotels/B&B's in this same area).

For an inexpensive stay, you get what you pay for. Although in a good location (nice B&B neighborhood in Westminster), the quad room was extremely small and very noisy (perhpas due to traffic from the nearby hospital). On a very positive note, we were able to check in early (9am) and store our luggage late on check out. The hotel was undergoing renovations thus the meager breakfast (compared to our later stay in London) was served on a tray in the very cramped room, which had no table or chairs. The common bathroom was not close and there were frequent line ups. Although the place is serviceable, we recommend paying a little more to find better value.

This is a good place to stay in if you need to be near Victoria St.,you can go walking in barely 10 min, beds were comfortable enough for me and bathrooms were clean, they give you towels and soap if you need them, lots of restaurants nearby and a big supermarket, staff is nice and really helpful.Bad things:Breakfast is a little poor and you hear a lot of noise from the streets(is a very busy area)I would rate my overall stay with an 8 and I would come back again.

This is a no-frills budget hotel that was adequate for our needs. Friendly hosts, fairly large room for 4, new paint and carpet, decent breakfast (eggs, tea, and toast). Bathroom on our floor was being renovated, so we had to use the upstairs bath, which was a bit inconvenient. When renovations are finished, it will be a very nice hotel. Family room on ground floor was a bit worrisome, since windows are accessible from the street. But the neighborhood is quiet and in an excellent location near Victoria Station (the main reason we booked here).

We have booked a room for 4 people. The room was very small and can just fit in 4 beds. There were very little space left for our luggage. We travelled on the 3rd week of June. The temperature was around 30C. Since we are on the top floor, the room was very hot & stuffy. The hotel was under renovation when we arrived. (There was no indication when we made our booking). We have to eat our breakfast in our small room. The tray had to be put on the top of our luggage.

As the hotel was under reconstruction I got a dicount so, according to the cost of the room I think my stay was OK eventhough the bathroom could have been more pleasant. But, on the whole I think that they did us much as they could. Unfortunately I did´nt know that I had to bring my own towels And i can´t remember seeing that kind of information on the sight. But I will use your help next time as well.

Only to sleep there it was the perfect choice and also because of the location. Despite the fact that there was a refurbisment during our stay we felt good. The hotel staff was very helpfull and flexible. The only bad thing was that there was no hot water between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
