The hotel had a very good location, just 3 minutes to Paddington station, and 10 minutes to Hyde Park. Its price was great. The problem is that it was so packed with no place to put the bag and it had no wardrobe. The wireless did not work in the room but did in the common room. Nevertheless, I would be back for the price.

We stayed at the hotel for the 3 nights we had booked, but never again !!! Everything was bad, service, cleanlieness, safety, no working toilet, TV didn't work, shit "breakfast room", a dirty pool room/bar (!), the staff at the frontdesk told us the tube charged five times the fee they actual do (we were better of getting a car from there "service"), they failed to wake us, and they never gave us a receipt !!! And I can go on and on... Do not stay there at all. Only good thing; LOCATICION.

We met peoples from various countrys, none was satisfied. The staff was not accommodating. They had a sulky expressions when we asked for more food for breakfast. We did not see one smile for our five days stay.

Crowded in the breakfast room. They charged 4% extra if you pay with credit card. Location is excellent - close to communication and sights.

I have stayed in several hotels in London, but this hotel was one of the hotels I neverr vant to visit again! The breakfastroom was undescribable,- placed in the basement, dark, filthy and some of the guests had to eat their breakfast at the biljard-table,or just keep their plates on their knees!

The hotel was over booked. They offer us an apartment 10 minutes walk away. They have also missspelled the dates. Therefore we had to move before the last night. Their handle of their over booking was not satisfied. We ask for refund but without success.

We got off to a bad start. First they couldn't find our names, and was almost just thrown out, until I took a look at the list myself and easily found it. Then the elevator didn't work- 4 floors with crutches and luggagge, no help! The rooom was dirty and small, and right next to the elevator that of course started to work again during the evening and very noisely so... Tv and hair-dryer did not work. Worst of all was the shower-curtain smelling so strong of urin, it was impossible to be in the toilet unless you held your breath. Staff was not very friendly either... For only 2 nights we held it out, but needless to say, I wont be returning to this hotel. Obs-they make you pay the whole amount at arrival (before you even see the room of course..), not at departure as this site says. And unless you pay cash, they add an extra fee.

The hotel advertised triple rooms, there were only double rooms with 1 double bed and 1 extra bed squeezed in. The breakfastroom was tiny. We had to spend the first night in a tiny room at the 5 floor of a neighbouring building without a lift. The room was so small we had to place our luggage in the bathroom.

You can't be a snob visiting London on lowbudget. After reading a lot of guestrewievs we had low expectations and did'nt trust all nice pictures on booking sites. All over we were satisfied with Ascot - the service was okey. They served breakfast and the location was good. If they had renovated the bathrooms and open the restaurant pictured at their website they had got a better score. Because of price and location we will book at Ascot later visit. We stayed for three nights.

The actual hotel was really well located, right next to Paddington station. Rooms and breakfast were ok. On the whole it would have been a great stay except for the reception staff who were very unfriendly and unhelpful. When we booked a free evening meal was included, however getting this meal was more effort than it was worth, we would have felt better if it hadn't been included. If you can handle the staff, the place was actually ok.

We arranged to stay at the hotel for two nights, and part of the deal was for a free meal. We went to claim our free meal and waited 15 minutes before leaving as we were not served. The hotel is rated with 3 stars, which I think is over rated. We had no where to sit at breakfast. The room was so warm we had to sleep with the window open and listen to the traffic all night. As we had a microwave, fridge and hob, the hotel must be used for people that are mafe homeless and awaiting to be accommodated by the council. The only thing right with it was the location.

This hotel was probably one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. People at reception were extremely rude. We arrived at our hotel earlier than the check in time which was indicated on the website being at 1pm, but they insisted that it stated 2pm. They refused to allow us to get a room earlier and insisted that we place our luggages in their so called 'luggage storage area', which was a very small closet that was over packed with luggages - ours couldn't even fit in. When arriving at the check in time (2pm), we went up to our room which was dirty, toilet wasn't working, filthy sheets on the bed. I was very upset to find out that they didn't even clean the room! Not to mention that they gave us a room with two single beds after reserving a double because we are a married couple. After putting up a fight with the receptionist, we had our room changed. Thank goodness we only stayed there one night! Also, there was NO air conditioning in any of the rooms. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor will I ever suggest this hotel to anyone I know. I would suggest to Venere.com to take this hotel off its website.

La camera, al quarto piano senza ascensore, era talmente minuscola che non c'era nemmeno la possibilità di tenere aperte le valigie. Ovviamente non c'erano nè comodini, nè armadio. In compenso una buona quantità di polvere.
