Arran House Hotel - London

The hotel is clean and in a convenient location for me, but London is over-priced.The room had barely enough space for a single bed.

Good position, very kind people, very good breakfast with a lot a choises. We haven't the bathroom in the room, but the two bathroom outside the room were very clean.

The hotel has a great location (3 min walk from Goodge Street station, Russell Square, The British Museum and Oxford Street). A good breakfast is served. Shared bathrooms and showers are however not always kept perfectly clean and rooms are very small. Cleanliness of rooms is not excellent, as usual in London however (apart for luxury hotels). The hotel is anyway a good choice if a good rate is available.

Great area easy walking distance to Soho and the British Museum. For the amount of money I paid I was extremely disappointed with the room. It was on the top floor and was very hot even though it's Spring and mild weather outside. The worst thing was that my room was right next to all the internal plumbing and I had to constantly listen to the sound of water going through the pipes anytime someone had a shower in the building or when the staff were doing the washing. I complained they couldn't or wouldn't find me an alternative room. So I had 2 nights of only a few hours sleep if I was lucky. It sucked! and I most certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Super location right between three Underground stops, easy walking distance to restaurants, museum, etc. Friendly and helpful staff got me oriented well. Great breakfasts! I skipped lunch completely. The whole place is worn around the edges, but not in a bad way; more like an old comfortable sweater.

Arran House is really a very friendly place, with a welcoming staff. They are kind and helpfull. They are completely relaxed about everthing a guests wants. Arran House is situated in two old houses, with two big gardens you can use when the weather is nice. Price/quality is good. No bathroom in the room, but the shared bathrooms in the hallway are sufficient. We recommend this place. L & M from Amsterdam, Holland

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. Great location, the rooms are ok and the staff is nice. The only drawback was the small breakfast room (was overcrowded). The hotel have a lot of narrow stairs in which gave us a lot of excercise. No elevator. Ok for us.

My first stay at Arran House and it was great. Fantastic value for money. Location pretty good, easy access to Tube and Trains, and could walk into Central London if you wanted to. The staff were so friendly and helpful, just fabulous.

This is a wonderful, inviting, clean, comfortable, friendly, well run B and B, in a perfect location. A full English breakfast is included in the price of the room. The bathroom and shower which are not ensuite, are large, sparkling clean, very private, and seem to always be available. The hotel has a wonderful living room, with comfortable couches, a fireplace, available tea and coffee, numerous travel guide books, maps, etc. The staff is warm and friendly, knowledgable and helpful. It was a 5 minute walk to the tube stop in a safe, clean neighborhood. What a find for the price!

This Hotel was so good I am back there next week for another stay.

We enjoy our stay.Excellent location,10 minutes walk to Piccadilly and surrounding. Very clean,good breakfast.
